Belong Crewe

My dad moved into Belong from another home, his mental being was very low at this time, since being at Belong he has put a little bit of weight on, he was very thin,, he watches tv in the communal lounge & occasionally takes himself to another house & sits with other people, the staff take good care of him & have a bit of a banter with him, which he likes, the home is very clean & very welcoming, relatives can visit anytime; you don't have to make an appointment.Dad does not take part in a lot of the activities, he's a bit on the quiet side & wont mingle, hopefully he will do in the future, as the staff are always putting on a full timetable of activities, I have my lunch with him 2/3 times a week in The Bistro, family occasionally join us, the food is lovely with plenty of choice, overall very happy with Belong, management & staff.

My wife has been in the hospital for an operation, for medical reasons I have stayed for 2 weeks. I could not have been looked after better in the Ritz hotel. It has been a pleasure to talk to your staff, and have interesting conversations with the residents. Some have known me for many years as a councillor and my work in Crewe Railway works. Many thanks.

We have always been very happy with Mum being with you at Belong. The staff are excellent, friendly and always keep us informed of any issues with Mum. Mum isn't the easiest resident but the team at Britannia in Crewe manages Mum caringly and very professionally. They are translated through all family members who visit. Thank you from all of us.

My dad was discharged from hospital to Coronation House as a new resident in late November 2024. From the minute he arrived, I felt at ease with the care he receives. For the second time in a care home, Dad has settled in so well because the whole team have taken the time to learn about him, get to know him and tailor his care plan to match his needs, not try to make him fit into the "model". As a professional inspector of care homes in Australia, I cannot praise the Belong Crewe team highly enough.

The carers are all fantastic with all the residents. They are always thinking of how they can make the residents' lives more comfortable and enjoyable. I'm delighted my mum is at Belong Crewe. Outstanding facility, outstanding people!

My husband's uncle attended Belong experience days and then for a period of respite which culminated in him becoming a permanent resident. My husband and I have been totally happy with his time in their care at all times. We have total confidence in the care team in his house. They are caring and supportive always, welcoming and kind to everyone. He has totally settled in their care. We could not wish for a better life for him at this difficult time in his life.

My dad has been very happy and well cared for in Belong Crewe. The staff are always welcoming and extremely loving towards Dad. I'm very impressed by the range of activities provided for the residents. Dad is always encouraged to participate but doesn't always want to join in. The bistro is an amazing place and Dad and I enjoy going there to chat over a cup of coffee and eat one of their delicious meals. The bistro is a hive of activity and a great place to socialise with others. The accommodation is clean and well cared for. I feel very happy in the knowledge that Dad is being well cared for.

I wanted to extend my deepest thanks for the incredible 105th birthday celebration your team organised for my aunt. The care, attention and thoughtfulness from everybody made it such a special day. We are grateful for the love and support you provided, not just on milestones like this but every day.

I can't thank the Belong team enough for taking such amazing care of my nan during her final weeks. She connected with so many of the staff members in the short time she was there and taught them all so much too, as she has with her family over the years. It has taken a huge amount of stress off our shoulders, her being taken care of, and given her family the opportunity to make the most of the time we had left with her. Truly appreciate the amazing staff they have.

We would thoroughly recommend Belong to anyone needing care who is seeking a home-from-home.

Huge thanks to all the staff at Belong Crewe for your kindness and support to me, my sister, my brother and all the family at the end of my mums life for the last six weeks. Her end of life care was just outstanding. Special thank you the Duke Household and the management team for their considerable professionalism throughout.

So grateful to the amazing staff in Duke House. You just all amaze me at the outstanding support you give to the residents. Special shout out to one member of staff in particular who went on an adventure to the pub with mum even on her day off while I was on holiday! Honestly so so grateful in your above and beyond treatment. Thank you.

I have settled in well and after a recent trip to the hospital, I now call it home.

My wife has been in Belong Crewe for almost 12 months and the care and indeed love she receives from the care teamin Duke, and indeed across the entire home, is just incredible. Passing my wife into someone else's care was a very difficult and emotional thing to do and was upsetting for me at the time. This 'guilt' has been all but removed by seeing how much she is cared for in the Duke household. The online portal is a wonderful tool - even though I probably overuse it - as it offers me yet further assurances over my wife's care. I have no hesitation in giving this care home top marks for providing an excellent and caring environment for its residents.

Excellent care home. Gran felt safe and happy here while on respite for 3 weeks. Highly recommend.

I would like to report how happy I am with the care my dad receives on Coronation House. The staff are amazing. They are attentive, caring and action requests made. The staff understand my dad's needs in detail and this makes me feel confident that he is being cared for in the most appropriate way. My dad has been in several care homes prior to Belong and Coronation House provides the best staff and the best care we have experienced. My dad is the most settled he has been since being in a care home and I would like to thank all the staff on Coronation House for their exemplary care provision.

I am acknowledged when I visit and kept informed about my mum on a daily basis via the online portal.

I have seen a positive difference in Dad since the start of his respite stay last month. He physically looks better, he is engaging more socially with others but can retreat to his own room when he desires for quiet time. Staff allow him to maintain his independence but support when required. Dad has attended the experience days for two days a week since last year. Being in respite, he now has the luxury of attending them daily, picking and choosing the activities he prefers and is a regular, particularly at the dominoes club. He is enjoying the food and the option of being able to eat either in the bistro or the households. He continues to extend his stay which is a sign that he is content and for this, I want to thank everyone, I don't believe he could be in a better place. All staff are fantastic and nothing is too much trouble. This really is a place where you want your loved ones to be, they treat residents like their own family. Keep up the great work.

My friend has been in Belong a while now, her son was also there as well until he sadly passed away. The care her son received was beyond exceptional and the care my friend has received since her son's passing is amazing. The teams they have working at Belong go above and beyond... I visit my friend every day, I've got to know all the carers and residents and feel like I've met a whole new family. My daughter visits on her own and she feels welcomed all the time. My friend is very happy where she is. The activities she does during the day are exceptional and always has something to tell me about what she has been doing (from gardening, crafts and decorating biscuits and many more).

What more can be said? Staff are excellent, dedicated and very caring and helpful. The home is very clean and modern. My brother has improved in his mental health beyond words since his arrival here. I don't believe he could be in a better place.
