My dad was discharged from hospital to Coronation House as a new resident in late November 2024. From the minute he arrived, I felt at ease with the care he receives. For the second time in a care home, Dad has settled in so well because the whole team have taken the time to learn about him, get to know him and tailor his care plan to match his needs, not try to make him fit into the "model". As a professional inspector of care homes in Australia, I cannot praise the Belong Crewe team highly enough.
Thank you very much for taking the time to provide this great feedback which is valued by all the team. We are delighted to hear that your dad's experience at Belong Crewe has been truly positive and that he has built strong relationships with the team. It's a pleasure to have him with us.
The carers are all fantastic with all the residents. They are always thinking of how they can make the residents' lives more comfortable and enjoyable. I'm delighted my mum is at Belong Crewe. Outstanding facility, outstanding people!
Thank you for submitting such a very kind review. We are delighted to hear your experience with Belong Crewe has been a good one and that your mum is so comfortable with us. I will pass this on to the entire team.
My husband's uncle attended Belong experience days and then for a period of respite which culminated in him becoming a permanent resident. My husband and I have been totally happy with his time in their care at all times. We have total confidence in the care team in his house. They are caring and supportive always, welcoming and kind to everyone. He has totally settled in their care. We could not wish for a better life for him at this difficult time in his life.
Thank you for taking the time to provide this lovely feedback. We are delighted to know that your uncle is happy at Belong Crewe and that he has settled in so well. It is also reassuring to know that the care and dedication of our village teams are making a difference.
My dad has been very happy and well cared for in Belong Crewe. The staff are always welcoming and extremely loving towards Dad. I'm very impressed by the range of activities provided for the residents. Dad is always encouraged to participate but doesn't always want to join in. The bistro is an amazing place and Dad and I enjoy going there to chat over a cup of coffee and eat one of their delicious meals. The bistro is a hive of activity and a great place to socialise with others. The accommodation is clean and well cared for. I feel very happy in the knowledge that Dad is being well cared for.
Thank you very much for taking the time to provide this lovely feedback. It means a great deal to the team here and we are so pleased to hear your dad is happy and well cared for. We do our utmost to offer high-quality services at Belong Crewe and it is so good to hear your appreciation of them.
I wanted to extend my deepest thanks for the incredible 105th birthday celebration your team organised for my aunt. The care, attention and thoughtfulness from everybody made it such a special day. We are grateful for the love and support you provided, not just on milestones like this but every day.
Thank you for taking the time to submit such wonderful feedback. It was our great pleasure to celebrate such a special birthday for your aunt at Belong Crewe; we are so delighted to hear that you are so happy and I will make sure your kind words are passed to the village team.
I can't thank the Belong team enough for taking such amazing care of my nan during her final weeks. She connected with so many of the staff members in the short time she was there and taught them all so much too, as she has with her family over the years. It has taken a huge amount of stress off our shoulders, her being taken care of, and given her family the opportunity to make the most of the time we had left with her. Truly appreciate the amazing staff they have.
Please accept our condolences; it was a great privilege to care for your nan and we are so thankful that we were able to get to know her and give her the special attention that she needed and support you as a family. Thank you for taking the time to submit your review and we will ensure your kind words are shared with the team at the village.
Although Mum has deteriorated, we feel the staff have got to know her very quickly. They don't so much care for people, they love them and behave towards them as though they are family.
We are so grateful for Mum getting a place at Belong. We know she is safe and yes, understood by staff.
We would thoroughly recommend Belong to anyone needing care who is seeking a home-from-home.
Thank you for taking the time to submit such wonderful feedback. We aim to maintain high standards at Belong Crewe; we are so delighted to hear this has been your experience and that your mum is being so welcomed and well cared for. I will make sure your kind words are passed to the village team.
Huge thanks to all the staff at Belong Crewe for your kindness and support to me, my sister, my brother and all the family at the end of my mums life for the last six weeks. Her end of life care was just outstanding. Special thank you the Duke Household and the management team for their considerable professionalism throughout.
Please accept our sincere condolences; it was a privilege to care for your mum and we are pleased to know she had such great care during her time here. Thank you for taking the time to submit your review and we will ensure your kind words are shared with the team at the village.
So grateful to the amazing staff in Duke House. You just all amaze me at the outstanding support you give to the residents. Special shout out to one member of staff in particular who went on an adventure to the pub with mum even on her day off while I was on holiday! Honestly so so grateful in your above and beyond treatment. Thank you.
Thank you for taking the time to submit such wonderful feedback. We are so delighted to hear this has been your experience and that your mum is receiving such great care and attention. I will make sure your kind words are passed to the Duke House team.
Due to the decline in my health, I didn't know what to do. The girls take good care of me, there is nothing that they wouldn't do for me.
I have settled in well and after a recent trip to the hospital, I now call it home.
Thank you very much for taking the time to provide this lovely feedback. It means a great deal to the team here and we are so pleased to hear you are settled, well cared for and happy at your new home in Belong Crewe.
My wife has been in Belong Crewe for almost 12 months and the care and indeed love she receives from the care teamin Duke, and indeed across the entire home, is just incredible. Passing my wife into someone else's care was a very difficult and emotional thing to do and was upsetting for me at the time. This 'guilt' has been all but removed by seeing how much she is cared for in the Duke household. The online portal is a wonderful tool - even though I probably overuse it - as it offers me yet further assurances over my wife's care. I have no hesitation in giving this care home top marks for providing an excellent and caring environment for its residents.
Thank you very much for taking the time to provide us with this wonderful feedback. Our Belong Crewe team work really hard to ensure a friendly, homely and welcoming environment. We are so happy to hear you are reassured that your wife is in the best care. It means a great deal to our Duke team to know that this is appreciated.
Excellent care home. Gran felt safe and happy here while on respite for 3 weeks. Highly recommend.
Thank you so much for your positive feedback on the support provided at Belong Crewe. We are delighted to hear your Gran had such a lovely experience with us and felt safe and happy.
I would like to report how happy I am with the care my dad receives on Coronation House. The staff are amazing. They are attentive, caring and action requests made. The staff understand my dad's needs in detail and this makes me feel confident that he is being cared for in the most appropriate way. My dad has been in several care homes prior to Belong and Coronation House provides the best staff and the best care we have experienced. My dad is the most settled he has been since being in a care home and I would like to thank all the staff on Coronation House for their exemplary care provision.
Thank you very much for this lovely review. We really appreciate you taking the time to provide it and our Coronation House team will be delighted to hear that your dad is being so well cared for and is finally settled and happy. I will pass your kind words on to them.
She has settled in very well, she seems happy and well cared for.
We are welcome to visit at all times.
All the staff are always friendly and helpful.
I am acknowledged when I visit and kept informed about my mum on a daily basis via the online portal.
Thank you for your positive feedback on the support provided at Belong Crewe. We do our best to understand every customer and ensure that relatives are informed as much as possible. It is a pleasure to have your mum living with us.
I have seen a positive difference in Dad since the start of his respite stay last month. He physically looks better, he is engaging more socially with others but can retreat to his own room when he desires for quiet time. Staff allow him to maintain his independence but support when required. Dad has attended the experience days for two days a week since last year. Being in respite, he now has the luxury of attending them daily, picking and choosing the activities he prefers and is a regular, particularly at the dominoes club. He is enjoying the food and the option of being able to eat either in the bistro or the households. He continues to extend his stay which is a sign that he is content and for this, I want to thank everyone, I don't believe he could be in a better place. All staff are fantastic and nothing is too much trouble. This really is a place where you want your loved ones to be, they treat residents like their own family. Keep up the great work.
Thank you for such lovely feedback. We are overjoyed to hear your dad is happy with us and enjoying our services. It is wonderful to hear that he is showing such improvement and that you feel he is in the right place. I will make sure your review is passed on to the entire Belong Crewe team.
My friend has been in Belong a while now, her son was also there as well until he sadly passed away. The care her son received was beyond exceptional and the care my friend has received since her son's passing is amazing. The teams they have working at Belong go above and beyond... I visit my friend every day, I've got to know all the carers and residents and feel like I've met a whole new family. My daughter visits on her own and she feels welcomed all the time. My friend is very happy where she is. The activities she does during the day are exceptional and always has something to tell me about what she has been doing (from gardening, crafts and decorating biscuits and many more).
Thank you very much for taking the time to provide this feedback, which is valued by all the team. We are delighted to hear that your friend is so happy at Belong Crewe and that you are also welcomed and made to feel a part of our Belong family.
What more can be said? Staff are excellent, dedicated and very caring and helpful. The home is very clean and modern. My brother has improved in his mental health beyond words since his arrival here. I don't believe he could be in a better place.
Thank you for taking the time to provide this lovely feedback. We are delighted to know that your brother is happy at Belong Crewe and that the dedication of our village teams is making such a positive difference to him.
My husband, who has frontotemporal dementia and some mobility problems, has attended experience days at Belong Crewe since last June and he now attends three days a week. He so enjoys his time there and it is wonderful to see how the team ensure that he and the rest of the clients get to do activities that they enjoy, that suit their capabilities and that keep them engaged throughout the day. The feeling at the home, when I drop him or pick him up, is one of welcome, friendship and energy and I couldn't wish for a better place for him to be. It gives me some valuable 'me' time and time for me to get our household and life management jobs out of the way so I can have more time for him when we are together. It makes it so much easier knowing that he is safe, happy and so well cared for. Highly recommended.
Thank you very much for taking the time to provide us with this feedback. Our team work really hard to ensure a friendly, homely and welcoming environment. It means a great deal to our Belong Crewe Experience days team to know that this is appreciated and that your husband enjoys his time with us.
My husband, who has dementia, has been attending an experience day on a weekly basis for almost a year now. The care and professionalism from all the staff have never been anything other than faultless. It does my husband good to attend and the break it gives me is priceless. I would highly recommend.
Thank you so much for taking the time to post this feedback. We aim to maintain high standards at Belong Crewe; we are so delighted to hear this has been your experience and that it is a help to your husband and yourself.
The Belong staff led by management supported by their team of care assistants and supported by Belong at Home, a team that provides daily companionship visits have been exemplary and deserve, thoroughly, their recent National Care award.
All residents live in small households with communal kitchen, dining and lounge facilities. The staff work amongst the residents and in my visits I have been impressed by the degree of interaction between staff and residents. There is no feeling of isolation that you sometimes see in other homes. The residents are treated like members of family.
Communication with family is excellent and the daily care story keeps the family fully informed of my aunt's daily condition and welfare.
My aunt is happy, secure and safe. This is to the credit of Belong.
Thank you very much for taking the time to provide us with this feedback. Our staff work really hard to ensure a friendly, homely and welcoming environment. It means a great deal to our Britannia House team at Belong Crewe to know that your aunt is happy and safe.

Meet the Team (6)

Caroline Anthony was appointed as General Manager at Belong Crewe in April 2024, following her five-year tenure in the role of Support Manager, where she consistently demonstrated her leadership skills with compassion and dedication.
Amongst the country’s first graduates for the NVQ in health and social care when originally launched, Caroline’s career took off when she secured her first care job in a local nursing home. Following a brief break, she returned to work, this time for the council, providing domiciliary care in the community.
It was after joining Belong in 2016 as a senior support worker that Caroline began to develop her leadership skills, progressing to Lead Senior Support Worker and then earning her promotion to Support Manager.
As General Manager, Caroline has overall responsibility for all who work and live at Belong Crewe, whether in 24-hour care households or independent living apartments.
She operates an open-door policy and always welcomes feedback from customers and members of the wider village community as we work together to enhance wellbeing and outcomes for all in our care.

Dean joined Belong Crewe soon after it opened in 2011, quickly proving himself a compassionate, dedicated and highly regarded team member. He worked as a Support Worker for 12 years, providing outstanding support to residents while completing both his Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications in Adult Social Care. Promotions to Senior Support Worker, then Team Leader, followed, and it was during his tenure in the latter role that Dean deservedly won the fiercely contested Belong Champion Award for Leader of the Year.
He continued to demonstrate his dependability as he took on increasing levels of responsibility following the appointment of Caroline Anthony as General Manager. He was appointed to the Village Management Team as Assistant Support Manager in 2023, before being promoted to the Support Manager role the following year. He is currently working towards his Level 5 Diploma in Adult Social Care.

Jane Hughes was promoted from her role as Acting Support Manager from Village Nurse Manager in April 2024.

Joy brings a wealth of experience to the role of Front of House Manager, having previously worked in retirement living for the past eight years. Joy started her career as a receptionist and progressed to being responsible for five schemes across Cheshire; involved in all aspects of administration, customer finances and facilities management.

Nurturing home-grown talent, Belong Crewe promoted Jessica Butler to the post of Experience coordinator in June 2021.
Jessica will work with the wider village team to ensure the provision of meaningful occupation for residents of both its 24-hour care households and independent living apartments, as well as managing the Experience Day programme for customers of Belong’s specialist day care service.
Joining the team as a bistro assistant at Belong Crewe when the village first opened in 2010, Jessica has progressed with the organisation, as it quickly became apparent that her skills in connecting to customers would be highly beneficial in a care capacity.
Belong supported her learning and development to make the transition to becoming a support worker, and Jessica worked under the guidance of Belong’s Dementia Trainer as she took her Level 3 qualification. Jessica soon flourished, showing the perfect balance of empathy and positivity to bring joy and purpose to Belong’s residents and she progressed to a senior support worker.
Inspired by the value added by the Experience Day Team, Jessica later moved across to a role in this service. Already knowing the residents and their needs well, she understood how to create meaningful activities that engaged the customers on a daily basis.

Jane joined the Belong at Home team in 2018 and has made improvements to the service during that time.
Having progressed within the organisation, from the role of Community Support Worker to Senior Community Support Worker, before being appointed to the role of Area Manager in January 2020; Jane brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the role. Jane has previously worked in marketing and has experience in leading teams and performance management. Jane has worked and lived in both South Africa and America and returned to the UK in 2015 after living most of her life abroad.
