Always a good impression when we visit. The staff are always pleasant, welcoming and responsive. They care for the residents and visitors alike, nothing seems too much trouble. We would highly recommend Belong.
Thank you for taking the time to submit your review of Belong Crewe. We are so touched by your kind words and will aim to keep our services to such high standards.
The experienced staff are fantastic with our Mum. They are caring and very sensitive to her needs. The activities on a daily basis are imaginative and fun, keeping Mum interested.
Thank you very much for this lovely review. We really appreciate you taking the time to provide it and our Belong Crewe experience day team will be delighted to hear that your mum is settled and happy and that you find everyone to be caring and sensitive to her needs.
Household staff always have time to update me on Mum's day and try very hard to encourage her to eat and drink, which can be very challenging as she often struggles to understand how to eat and has difficulty recognising food. Staff engage Mum in conversation, and this has improved her communication recently, and I feel this has made her happier.
Thank you so much for taking the time to post this feedback. Our team will be most touched to read this. We are delighted to hear that your experience of Belong Crewe has been so positive, in particular, that you find our team give wonderful and compassionate care.
Four members of staff in particular are excellent examples of a workforce that cares and is enthusiastic about the work they do. My husband who has dementia is encouraged, given confidence and shown love in all they do for him. Their enthusiasm and attitude bring fun and happiness to my husband each day he is with them.
Thank you for taking the time to provide this lovely feedback. We are delighted to know that your husband is happy at Belong Crewe and the dedication of our village teams is making a difference. We are delighted that the enthusiasm and attitude of our team bring him fun and happiness. Thank you for choosing Belong Crewe.
Dad arrived here during Covid and was very confused and upset as he didn’t really understand what was happening. He was also very frail from being in hospital for many weeks. The care and love Dad received from his 1st day was amazing! He quickly began to enjoy himself and physically became stronger. He joined in events and activities and the staff took the time to really get to know him. At the end of his life, the staff were incredible. They cared for him like he was their own family. They kept us fully informed at all times and in the last few days were so kind and thoughtful allowing us to stay with Dad the whole time. We cannot recommend Belong enough and thank them for everything they did for our lovely dad.
Please accept our condolences; it was a privilege to care for your dad and we are pleased to know he was happy during his time here. Thank you for taking the time to submit your review and we will ensure your kind words are shared with the team at the village.
My husband has been attending experience days since January 2023 and recently had 10 days of respite. I have been so impressed with all the staff, care and support provided by Belong Care Village, Crewe. It is all person-centred and my husband looks forward to his time at Belong. I can see why they have achieved an outstanding rating by CQC.
Thank you for taking the time to submit such wonderful feedback. We aim to maintain high standards at Belong Crewe; we are so delighted to hear this has been your experience and I will make sure your kind words are passed to the whole village team.
From the time my husband was admitted to Belong Crewe care home he was treated with compassion and actual care could not be faulted. We were always contacted when he had to go to the hospital which was many times during 2022/2023 and told of his arrival back at the home. The staff were always very polite and very helpful. in fact. my family have always said their dad could not have been looked after any better. We truly say thank you.
Thank you very much for taking the time to provide us with this feedback. Our team work really hard to ensure a friendly, homely and welcoming environment. It means a great deal to our village team to know that this is appreciated especially since you feel your husband could not have been looked...
Absolutely faultless care especially right through to palliative/end-of-life care. It wasn't just caring, it was also love for my grandad from every member of the staff. The nurses and carers were so considerate to us and kept us informed at all times.
The home itself was constantly buzzing with activities - bingo, singing, arts and crafts. It was something new every time we went. No resident could be bored here! Plus a beautiful cafe for you to take your relative to and enjoy company with each other.
Thank you very much for taking the time to provide this feedback, which is valued by the team. We are delighted to hear that your granddad's experience at Belong Crewe was so positive. We are delighted that you found he was kept clean, tidy and well-fed and with all the activities he was never bored here. Thank you for choosing Belong Crewe.
My mum has been staying in Belong Crewe for the past three months on a respite basis with a view to securing a permanent place there pending social services assessment. As with my dad (who was there for two years), she has received the most excellent care. The staff have soon responded and adapted their care to mum's needs. She quickly settled in due to their superb approach. I wouldn't want mum to be in any other care home.
Thank you very much for taking the time to provide us with this feedback. Our team work really hard to ensure a friendly, homely and welcoming environment. It means a great deal to our village to know that this is appreciated. We are delighted your mum has settled in quickly.
Very professional and made the moving process very easy. Can be very stressful moving my dad in, but felt so at ease with the help and support given. Very clean and spotless - feels like a home from home. Highly recommended!
Thank you very much for taking the time to provide us with this feedback. Our team work really hard to ensure a friendly, homely and welcoming environment. It means a great deal to our village team to know that this is appreciated and that your dad is settled and happy.
I cannot recommend Belong Crewe village highly enough. My mum lives in an apartment, and my dad is in Belong nursing care. The quality of care is exceptional for both parents, and I know my dad is safe and in excellent care. The carers treat both Mum and Dad as though they are family. Any concerns I have are always dealt with professionally and in a supportive manner. Thank you for making later years easier and making Mum and Dad happy.
Thank you very much for taking the time to provide this feedback. It means a great deal to the team here, and we are so pleased to hear you are happy at Belong Crewe particularly that you find the quality of care exceptional.
All needs are met, and activities/entertainment are so purposeful and well received. Activities are well planned and structured to suit the individual, as is the case with the households, clean, tidy, and homely with wonderful food and comfort.

My nan has gone to live in Belong Crewe after her illness progressed quickly, and she was no longer able to live in her own home without needing 24-hour care. As sad and as hard as this situation is for my family, seeing how all the staff, as soon as you walk in the door at reception, to the management, bistro, housekeepers and the amazing care team, are so passionate, patient and understanding with the residents; it's very reassuring, especially when you have to leave after your visit. The care I have witnessed first-hand that not only my nan has received but other residents are very humbling. The staff are always doing their best to make sure that the care they are providing is 5-star, with a smile in a busy and fast-paced environment. Well done for all your hard work (especially through the latest Covid times); it really does shine through, and for giving my family peace of mind whilst my nan is in your care.
Thank you very much for this lovely review. We really appreciate you taking the time to provide it, and our village team will be delighted to hear that your nan is settled and happy and that we are providing your family with peace of mind. Thank you for choosing Belong Crewe.
Walking around the village, seeing residents engaged in activities, walking onto the households, staff are always welcoming, and the care they give is exceptional. The staff always have time to stop and speak from the managers to the housekeepers; we are always met with a smile.
Thank you very much for taking the time to provide this feedback, which is valued by all the team. We are delighted to hear that your experience at Belong Crewe has been so positive, especially since you believe our care is exceptional. Thank you for choosing Belong Crewe.
My mother went to Belong after having an illness that had progressed very quickly, resulting in her need for 24 hour care. All the staff from reception, bistro, management, housekeepers and ultimately the wonderful support workers, are exceptional. The care my mother receives gives me piece of mind, as I know the attention given to her is fantastic. She has lost a lot of weight and is struggling with drinking and eating, but the staff constantly offer different options to try and tempt her. Thank you to all involved in making my mum as happy as possible.
Thank you very much for taking the time to provide us with this feedback. Our team work really hard to ensure a friendly, homely and welcoming environment. It means a great deal to our village team to know that this is appreciated. We are delighted our care gives you peace of mind. We will make sure your feedback is shared with the whole team.
Residents live in households, with regular carers in each house, this creates a family environment. There is a wide range of activities for residents to enjoy and socialise. As a family member, I always feel welcome and supported by the staff.
If or when nursing care is needed, Belong also has this covered with nursing staff on-site, so this is more likely to be a home for life and less likely that residents be admitted to hospital. All residential care should be modelled on Belong.
Thank you so much for taking the time to post this incredibly moving feedback. It is a privilege to support your mother and it is crucial to us that we make people’s time with us as special and positive as possible. It will mean a great deal to our village teams to read your comments and I will...
All the staff at this home definitely do care! The home is clean and comfortable with a spacious room. Mum enjoys the delicious meal, she feels very spoilt and has made friends with other residents and staff. It is great for the family to see mum so happy and content and so very well cared for.
Thank you very much for this lovely review. We really appreciate you taking the time to provide it, and our village team will be delighted to hear that your mum is settled and happy.
Exceptional staff, warm, caring and very friendly. Variety of activities. One to one session. The lunch menu is always varied and enjoyable.
Thank you very much for taking the time to provide this feedback. It means a great deal to the team here and we are so pleased to hear you are happy at Belong Crewe and enjoy the variety of activities and lunch.
Resident treated individually according to their needs. The staff are friendly, caring and give residents a feeling of security.
Thank you for your positive feedback on the support provided at Belong Crewe, we are pleased you find our team friendly and caring. We do our best to understand every customer, it is a pleasure to have your husband living with us. Thank you for choosing Belong Crewe.
As an essential visitor, I have been well briefed and given every opportunity to visit whenever circumstances permitted. This care home has worked miracles. Congratulations.
Thank you for taking the time to provide this lovely feedback. We are delighted to know that you feel the dedication of our village teams is making a difference during Covid restrictions. I will ensure they are shared with everyone. Thanks again.

Meet the Team (6)

Caroline Anthony was appointed as General Manager at Belong Crewe in April 2024, following her five-year tenure in the role of Support Manager, where she consistently demonstrated her leadership skills with compassion and dedication.
Amongst the country’s first graduates for the NVQ in health and social care when originally launched, Caroline’s career took off when she secured her first care job in a local nursing home. Following a brief break, she returned to work, this time for the council, providing domiciliary care in the community.
It was after joining Belong in 2016 as a senior support worker that Caroline began to develop her leadership skills, progressing to Lead Senior Support Worker and then earning her promotion to Support Manager.
As General Manager, Caroline has overall responsibility for all who work and live at Belong Crewe, whether in 24-hour care households or independent living apartments.
She operates an open-door policy and always welcomes feedback from customers and members of the wider village community as we work together to enhance wellbeing and outcomes for all in our care.

Dean joined Belong Crewe soon after it opened in 2011, quickly proving himself a compassionate, dedicated and highly regarded team member. He worked as a Support Worker for 12 years, providing outstanding support to residents while completing both his Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications in Adult Social Care. Promotions to Senior Support Worker, then Team Leader, followed, and it was during his tenure in the latter role that Dean deservedly won the fiercely contested Belong Champion Award for Leader of the Year.
He continued to demonstrate his dependability as he took on increasing levels of responsibility following the appointment of Caroline Anthony as General Manager. He was appointed to the Village Management Team as Assistant Support Manager in 2023, before being promoted to the Support Manager role the following year. He is currently working towards his Level 5 Diploma in Adult Social Care.

Jane Hughes was promoted from her role as Acting Support Manager from Village Nurse Manager in April 2024.

Joy brings a wealth of experience to the role of Front of House Manager, having previously worked in retirement living for the past eight years. Joy started her career as a receptionist and progressed to being responsible for five schemes across Cheshire; involved in all aspects of administration, customer finances and facilities management.

Nurturing home-grown talent, Belong Crewe promoted Jessica Butler to the post of Experience coordinator in June 2021.
Jessica will work with the wider village team to ensure the provision of meaningful occupation for residents of both its 24-hour care households and independent living apartments, as well as managing the Experience Day programme for customers of Belong’s specialist day care service.
Joining the team as a bistro assistant at Belong Crewe when the village first opened in 2010, Jessica has progressed with the organisation, as it quickly became apparent that her skills in connecting to customers would be highly beneficial in a care capacity.
Belong supported her learning and development to make the transition to becoming a support worker, and Jessica worked under the guidance of Belong’s Dementia Trainer as she took her Level 3 qualification. Jessica soon flourished, showing the perfect balance of empathy and positivity to bring joy and purpose to Belong’s residents and she progressed to a senior support worker.
Inspired by the value added by the Experience Day Team, Jessica later moved across to a role in this service. Already knowing the residents and their needs well, she understood how to create meaningful activities that engaged the customers on a daily basis.

Jane joined the Belong at Home team in 2018 and has made improvements to the service during that time.
Having progressed within the organisation, from the role of Community Support Worker to Senior Community Support Worker, before being appointed to the role of Area Manager in January 2020; Jane brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the role. Jane has previously worked in marketing and has experience in leading teams and performance management. Jane has worked and lived in both South Africa and America and returned to the UK in 2015 after living most of her life abroad.
