From the very first telephone conversation with Alexandra Grange, my impression was of a very professional organisation. My enquiries were dealt with swiftly, nothing was too much trouble. Brochures were sent to my home, I could see the premises via the brochure, and obtain a picture portrait of the home.
I was unable to make a visit prior to my relative moving in, however, I did arrange for a close friend who has experience in caring for individuals with needs such as Dementia, to visit on my behalf. Her impression was it met all the required needs plus many more, offering a wide range of activities to engage residents with.
On my first visit to the premises, I was impressed with the staff, security, and the pleasant manner and approach of the Business Manager, it exceeded my expectations.
I am so pleased that I have secured a room at the Alexandra Grange for my relative.

He is also making good progress, together with settling in very well indeed, taking part in activities.

My sister moved into Alexandra Grange on the 19th October 2017, she had previously just spent 4 and a half months in hospital and was not well. Her mobility was awful and she was very depressed. In the past 3 weeks, she has improved 100% and is very happy in her new surroundings. She has been treated with dignity and respect and the care she has received is excellent. I can't praise the home and staff highly enough and would recommend Alexandra Grange to anyone needing somewhere for their loved ones to be cared for.

From our first visit, when we were visiting different homes, we were impressed by the consideration and help given to me, my husband and my daughter but most importantly my sister.

The staff are always helpful and keep us fully informed of her health. My sister tells me that she is always treated well and has settled in very quickly.

I first visited Alexandra Grange as a prospective purchaser of their services for my mother in law - I was so impressed - I have nursed and cared for my Mother and Father in various residential homes and at home. I left the care home on my first visit almost in tears, I was so touched to see how well all the residents were treated, even the feisty ones! Such dignity afforded to these people in their home - wonderful.

I cannot recommend Alexandra Grange Care Home enough. It is never easy putting a loved one into care however right from the start the team put us at ease and quickly gave us the confidence that our Nan would be looked after here. All areas are impeccably clean and food/drink provided is of a high standard. The level of care and thoughtfulness that is demonstrated daily is beyond our expectations. They have quickly made this into a home for our Nan and also welcomed us so warmly that we now also see this as an extended family surrounding.

The improvement we have seen in our Nan in less than 4 months has been outstanding and is as a direct result of all the employees at Alexandra Grange (from all levels). The activities that the team get our Nan involved in has put such a smile on her face that we never imagined would be possible at the start of this hard journey of choosing a care home.

My mother in law has been at Alexandra Grange Care Home since November 2016 and her general well being and her happiness has improved 100%. The level of care, attention to detail, staff assistance and friendliness meant she settled in quickly and most importantly feels that this is now her home. Visitors are treated very well and all health issues are constantly monitored. Activities and trips out are all excellent. I have had some experience of care homes and this is far the best.

Alexandra Grange Care Home has exceeded expectations from the very first time I visited. The staff are always cheerful, friendly and welcoming and always available to answer any questions. The home is spotless and residents rooms are very comfortable. Good facilities are provided both for residents and their families/visitors, and residents are encouraged to join in with the may activities on offer. As a family, we are more than happy with the care and well being given to my mother Alexandra Grange at what can be a difficult time. We would not hesitate to recommend it.

My mum moved into Alexandra Grange in December, against her will. The staff, without exception, have been wonderful and within 2 weeks Mum was fully settled and content. The relief of knowing she is safe and well cared for cannot be underestimated.

My mother-in-law has severe dementia and is unable to look after herself. The staff at Alexandra Grange are caring and thoughtful and do everything they can to make her life as happy as they can. The choice of food at each meal is wholesome and varied. Alexandra Grange provides on-site entertainment tailored to the needs and tastes of the residents.
