Claremont Court has a friendly, family and welcoming atmosphere to both residents and their families. The staff are professional, patient and always respectful of their charges. Nothing is too much trouble. There is always a staff member present, keeping a watchful eye on their safety and they are quick to reassure anyone who displays signs of anxiety. I have never witnessed anything but positive caring from all members of staff.

Dad wanted to keep living alone as long as possible, but his health deteriorated, and the family were constantly worried. Now it's such a relief to know Dad is now safe, with somebody to look after him 24/7. We viewed several homes and Claremont COurt was the best. It's purpose-built, so everything is well designed and equipped for Dad's needs. The decor is light and cheerful and kept spotlessly clean. The staff are all very well trained and have endless patience, never rushing Dad. This enables him to preserve his independence where possible. Importantly the staff are very caring and compassionate to Dad, and also to the family when we find it difficult to cope with his dementia.

My husband resided at Claremont Court Care home for 14 months. During that time he was extremely well cared for, always clean and tidy. The staff responded to his needs even when he was at his most difficult. At these times he could be rude, aggressive and argumentative, but this did not prevent the staff from dealing with him kindly and sympathetically, consequently, the relationship between him and the staff was excellent. My husband did not join in with the many and varied activities provided but enjoyed anything musical which produced a smile, I found it difficult placing my husband in care but the staff always had the time to talk and help me when I was at my lowest. After researching homes, we selected Claremont even though it was expensive because it met his needs, however toiletries and hygiene products were not included in the fees so I had to provide them. It also came as a surprise that Social Services were able to place some of their clients in the home at a fraction of the cost. My husband was cared for with respect and dignity and therefore I would recommend Claremont.

After visiting several care homes I found Claremont Court in Guildford. The moment I walked in and met the manager I knew Claremont Court was the home for my husband, who has dementia. The staff are wonderful with all the residents. Claremont is purpose-built on three floors, with access to the garden, which is wonderful for the nice weather. The carers do a fantastic job and nothing is too much trouble. with this terrible illness, I wasn't looking for silk curtains and five-star surroundings, I was looking for five-star care which I know I have got.

Good open door approach. The building is bright and welcoming. Very cheerful staff, who always say hello when visiting and know the names of all the residents. My brother settled well and made great progress with his condition.

Since my husband moved into Claremont Court, he has been a lot happier. It took a while for my husband to settle in and during this time, the staff were exceptional to him and myself and my family at this difficult time. The home has kept us informed at all times regarding my husband. Myself and my family are very pleased and impressed with the care and attention he and us get from management and staff alike. Can't thank them all enough. Would highly recommend Claremont Court.

Claremont Court is a wonderful, caring home for dementia sufferers. My mother has been here since January and has received nothing but kind, attentive care since then. She came from another nursing home where she had been classified as 'naughty' and 'difficult'. She had been prescribed drugs to 'calm her down'. Claremont staff have shown her kindness and understanding. She is now calm and content. She is on no drugs and my sisters and I are all very grateful to Claremont staff for the transformation they have effected in our mother's state of wellbeing.

My wife has lived in Claremont Court now for only a few months. The changes in her attitude and behaviour have been remarkable. She has settled in at this wonderful home due only to the care and treatment she gets from the fantastic staff, led by the manager.

There is just no more to be said other than wonderful.

Excellent, my cousin was in a care home in Minehead and moved to Claremont Court, what a total transformation. From nearly dying if I left her in the previous home to putting on weight, her skin is better and she is much healthier. Claremont Court provides wonderful care.

From November 2012 when my husband was admitted, mobile then and there was plenty of space for free movement although safe and secure.
We were lead by our instincts for choice, which seemed a daunting future journeying through vascular dementia.
Almost five years on myself, daughter and son will be eternally grateful for the utmost care and support we have received.
The staff are dedicated and caring with dignity.

Residents receive a good quality of life with many outings, parties and entertainment.

I couldn't wish for better care for Mum. We were so lucky to get a placement at Claremont for her. No one wants to see a loved one go into full-time care but everyone has supported us with the transition. All staff are so hard working and caring, I have absolute peace of mind regarding Mum's welfare and needs, knowing she is safe is priority. Social activities are fantastic. Everyone at Claremont is a credit to the company - thank you so much.

I first heart about Claremont Court about 5 years ago, from Social Services. After looking at other homes, I am glad it was Claremont Court. My wife has been well looked after now for about 5 years and now her sister is also at the home - 2 sisters are at the same home. The staff are as good as you get! I am well pleased.
