Mum was in the Halden Heights Care Community for over four years including the difficult Covid years. Their care was excellent throughout her time there. The staff are very caring and patient - thank you to the manager and all.

My brother was moved from hospital to Halden Heights end of November 2022 (89 years old) and was thought to have only two weeks to live. He died on November 9th 2023.
From day one, I knew I had made the right choice:- Halden Heights Care Community is beautifully clean, well run, with well-trained staff who are very welcoming with a smile. They show sympathy and great care. My brother was 89 (May 2022) on the date of admission which was the 26th November 2022.
I felt I had become 'one of the family' with staff who looked after me and my brother, offering me support and encouragement always. There were always competent staff around should I be concerned about anything.

A huge thank you Halden Heights Care community to the reception, caterers, cleaners, helpers, carers, nurses and right through to the exceptional lady at the top.

I feel peace of mind having my mum cared for at Halden Heights. The staff treat and look after her needs. They are also very thoughtful and respectful to those that visit friends or family. The staff come over as very caring, although I imagine it to be a very challenging job. The staff are always very friendly and informative about my mother's health and keep us updated with all that's going on. Always greet us with a smile and a friendly good buy. Thank you for all that you do.

My husband spent six weeks at Halden Heights Care Community convalescing from a bout of extreme ill health.
He was wonderfully cared for, with a delightful room opening onto the gardens. It was spotlessly clean at all times.
The food was excellent, if somewhat early.

My only criticism. I would like to see the care staff wearing a form of identification, to help the residents know who they are.

Fantastic care home for my father. Staff are really caring and nothing was too much trouble. I live 3 hours away from the home and received regular and helpful updates from management and her staff.

Sadly, my father passed away due to his condition and the home dealt with him with great dignity. Caring to the end. What more could you want for your loved ones.

The care I received at Halden Heights Care Community was second to none. All levels of staff were cheerful, polite and caring. The levels of cleanliness were to a very high standard. The food was well-cooked and tasty. Overall I would have no hesitation in recommending Halden Heights Care Community to anyone. One small suggestion - when getting the food orders would it be possible to include breakfast as it seemed what you ordered on day one was repeated.

When I arrived I was greeted with warmth and kindness. Soon settled into a comfy bed with something to eat and drink.
Very pleasant rooms, everywhere spotless. Nursing staff are efficient, careful and so kind.
The choice of meals was good and varied. Everyone was so kind meaning I was able to spend time with my husband.

Thank you everyone for helping along the road to recovery.

I cannot being to tell you how wonderful Halden Heights Care Community people are. I came here following a serious accident resulting in several broken bones and unable to do even the most basic personal care. Throughout, I have been given professional care and treated with the utmost dignity. The staff are so kindhearted and supportive. I could not have faced and coped with my injuries without them.

The day I came into Halden Heights Care Community, the welcome was with a smile and I felt at home. They all have been kindness itself all the time, as I was non-weight bearing and they had to dress and undress me in part and other things they were so patient. I have enjoyed my staff here, apart from my injury.

I have found the care here excellent. Recovering from a big operation I have needed a lot of help. I have found people sensitive and encouraging as I gradually become able to do things for myself. It was exactly the support I needed and I would happily recommend Halden Heights to anyone needing to convalesce.

After my mum suffered a fall in December and fractured her ankle, she was transferred to Halden Heights for rehab on Christmas Day and finally left yesterday. My family and I cannot praise the team there enough from the manager, the nurses, physios, care assistants and the cleaners. Every one of them showed care and compassion to not only her, but my dad too when he visited and to me and my siblings as we live in London. They kept us updated and really looked out for her especially when she had to isolate for the first four days being there. We cannot express our gratitude enough. Nothing is ever too much and it is always done with a smile and such empathy. Thank you all so much.

I have nothing but praise for the way the whole team cared for my mum on her recent rehabilitation/respite stay. Everyone was so kind and caring and I felt totally comfortable with her being there. Nothing was too much trouble and I can’t thank everyone enough for making a difficult time much more bearable.

I couldn't have wished for better care for my mother, who was at Halden Heights for ten months with severe Parkinsons and various other medical conditions. The care she received was extremely professional, efficient and compassionate throughout. The staff always knew exactly what she needed and were always on hand for whatever Mum wanted. Mum's outlook was severely limited by her condition but all the staff always treated her with kindness and dignity, providing her with care as well as good company. I was always updated with news of any change in Mum's condition or outlook and could call or visit when I wanted. The place was always spotless and tidy.

Despite her terrible illness, Mum was happy at Halden Heights and I am so very grateful to all the staff for making her last months as comfortable and peaceful as possible.

My father was with you for five months before he passed away in your care. The compassion and care shown to him were exemplary, as was the consideration shown to his wife and family on their almost daily visits to him. As a family, we are immensely grateful to the staff for all they did for him.

My wife was transferred by the NHS, following a fracture of her neck of femur and clavicle. The latter were operated on at hospital. My wife stayed at Halden Heights Care Community for a period of four weeks. I have nothing but praise for the staff, the facilities and the care received.

The overall care was efficient, communicated regularly and exercised compassion throughout. I have no adverse comments to make.
