The transition from family home to care home is not an easy one for some people, but the team at Park View have lightened that load for all of us. All the staff from the carers, cleaners, activity team, maintenance staff, seniors and management have gone out of their way to make Mum and Dad feel at home. The lines of communication regarding their health and well-being are excellent. We feel like we are included in all the decisions. The rooms are warm and comfortable and kept beautifully clean and well-maintained. The activities team are always coming up with new ideas for stimulating activities and some beautiful ideas for special occasions.

Am happy with level care my parents are receiving,
The staff are excellent and many efforts are made to engage with them no matter what level of infirmity they are experiencing. This in includes cleaning, laundry and catering staff and entertainment staff.

Nothing in this world is perfect, but they try to be decent human beings.

Overall I think your service is very good but for the cost it could be better. Your residents are ill, old and frail. I get the impression some of your carers don't. But most of them do.

I can't thank the staff at Park View for making it possible for my Nan to be able to attend my wedding in October. The staff did her hair, got her dressed and accompanied her to and from the venue. This took the stress out of the day for myself and my mum as staff were on hand for anything my nan needed. Thank you Park View- you are a great team and I/we can't thank you enough xxx

My mother is a resident of your care home on Sicey Avenue, Sheffield S5 0EN. She has been there for over six years and we are very happy with the support and care she is given. The management and staff are very friendly, and genuinely interested in her family - always asking about them, and are very welcoming when she has visitors. The building itself is kept very clean, as are my mother's clothes, which are washed daily. Management and staff all know my name and my family. We definitely made the right decision when choosing this home, which provides all my mother's needs.

My mum is in Park View and my daughter was getting married (on a Sunday). The home facilitated a carer to travel to the venue, stay with Mum during the ceremony, photographs, and canapes, then accompany her back to the home. They also arranged to get her ready, do her hair and dress her in her outfit. Without the staff going above and beyond for her, as a family it wouldn't have been possible. We will be forever grateful for making this happen.

My mother was cared for at Park View Care Home with dignity, understanding and affection by all staff, from the care team to the catering & domestic staff, all of whom were friendly & affectionate towards her. She was included in the various activities, even when she was unable to understand or contribute to them, which was both thoughtful & beneficial. She received attention from medical staff when necessary & we could not have asked for better care for her at the end of her life.

Very friendly and caring. Mum is looked after very well. Mum is booked in for her respite on a monthly basis and we are happy that she is safe and well cared for on every visit. She was at Park View last July for her birthday and they made a lovely fuss and baked her a birthday cake.
