Mum stayed at Ivy Grove for two weeks on respite care. We had a lovely feeling for Ivy Grove from the moment we viewed it. Lovely, caring and friendly staff made us feel confident that Mum would get the care she deserved. My daughter visited Mum several times during her respite stay and reported excellent care, Mum was always happy and content. Lots of activites going on throughout her stay, although she chose not to participate, she was respected in her view and not forced to join in, which suited her quiet and private nature. Excellent choice of food and plenty of it! Mum loved the soups! Overall a lovely care home, professionally led with a caring and loving approach. Thank you, we hope to get Mum back in August for another respite.
Lovely fish and chip lunch today .... available to relatives of residents and the local community. food was delicious, and plenty of it....served by the ever lovely April.... and lovely relaxed atmosphere x

My wife only spent a short time in the home before she went to the hospital and passed away. However the home cared for her very well and were very attentive to her special needs. The staff were very helpful ad friendly. They were also very supportive of me whenever I visited here.
On behalf of the entire team at Ivy Grove, we would like to offer our deepest condolences on the passing of your wife. Thank you for entrusting us to care for her, even if only for a short while. We are keeping you in our thoughts.
Warm RegardsIvy Grove Care Home
During her stay mum reported the staff were attentive and kind. There were lots of activities to keep her busy ! Her room was very nice and she had a super welcome with flowers and other treats. The food was plentiful and a very good standard. Overall the staff were responsive to mums needs, she felt safe and cared for. The home felt well led by senior staff and we were very pleased with her stay.
Dear Liz,
Thank you so much for your kind words and for choosing Ivy Grove for your mother’s respite stay. We are delighted to hear that she felt so safe and cared for during her month with us. It is wonderful to know that our staff’s attentiveness and respect for her views made such a...
The whole place is exceedingly well run...from the calibre of staff, the staff/resident ratio, the kindness and care of each member of the team, the light, serene atmosphere, the gentle generosity of the team, the 'can do' attitude. Really appreciated. There are fresh flowers, free drinks and biscuits, selfless staff to help. Really very impressive indeed. Thank you for your kindness, support, friendliness, respect, care. It's also spotlessly clean.
Thank you so much for this wonderful review. We are truly touched that, after visiting several homes, you felt Ivy Grove was the clear choice. Our team takes great pride in maintaining a welcoming atmosphere, so it is incredibly rewarding to hear that these details made such a difference for your...
Ivy Grove cared for our Dad as his health began to fail and he needed an end of life care plan. They could not have been more caring, enveloping Dad as part of the Ivy Grove family. They promptly sorted out any issues and settled Dad in with them. We know Dad enjoyed his time with them all and as a family we remain enormously grateful for all their care and support not just with Dad but towards us as a family as well.
Providing dignity and comfort during such a significant time is at the heart of what we do, and we are so glad we could be there for all of you. Thank you...
From the time my aunt and uncle moved in they felt at home - their room is beautifully decorated and with ample place for clothes etc. Staff are absolutely wonderful and always cheerful and helpful. Lots of opportunity for mixing ie painting etc. Lots of entertainment too! I am so relieved that when I leave to go home I know they will be okay. Everyone seems happy to be here and when I have to leave to go home I know they are in good hands.
Warm regards Ivy Grove Team
I visited Ivy Grove to check it out before the possibility of my aunt going there for respite. As soon as I walked through the door, I knew it was the right place for my aunt. All the staff were friendly, and the residents, and I was shown the rooms and facilities, and was very impressed, and decided that this is the place for my aunt. In the respite period, my aunt settled in really well. She enjoys the activities and chatting to the other residents and the staff, and was very happy, so much so that she is going to be a permanent resident, which makes me and the rest of her family very happy too, knowing she is being well looked after and safe.
Thank you Carol so much for your kind words. We are delighted that you felt Ivy Grove was right for your aunt from the very first moment. It’s wonderful to hear how well she settled during her respite stay and that she’s enjoying the activities and social life here. We are honoured to welcome her...

The staff and residents are outstanding. The staff are always here to help you. Living here I feel very safe and comfortable. I love the closeness of my friends that I have made in the home. I especially enjoyed going horse riding. I would love to go again. I would recommend Ivy Grove to those who are looking.
Thank you for sharing your experience here at Ivy Grove. This home would not be the same without as you bring so much joy to us all. Many Thanks, Ivy Grove Team.
My Dad was a resident at Ivy Grove for just under three years before he sadly died in May this year. Our decision for him to move there was one of the best decisions we've ever made - he had been growing increasingly frail and lonely after my stepmother died in 2020 but absolutely thrived once he moved into Ivy Grove because he was so well looked after.
Although he was a quiet man, he loved being around company and I could see how happy he was every time I visited him (which was often). The staff put on lots of entertainment and worked really hard to make their residents' wishes come true. Dad got to do lots of fun things and was always smiling whenever I arrived. Staff not only arranged for him to go on a private tour of a football ground while he was there but he even went up in a small plane over London at the age of 98 - which he loved!
The staff there are so kind, caring and thoughtful. Ivy Grove is a very special place.
Thank you very much for taking the time to leave us feedback about your experience.Your words has truly touched us all and it was our pleasure to have your dad with us at Ivy Grove. We hold so many fond memories of him and he will be missed by us all. Thank you again for sharing your kind words of us. Many Thanks Ivy Grove team.
My late mother was a resident at Ivy Grove Care home up to April 2025 when she sadly passed away. All the staff are very supportive and professional. Especially her carer, who was very caring. I would truly recommend Ivy Grove home to anyone wishing to use their care home. Every member of staff made me feel part of a family; they always had time to talk to me and a shoulder to lean on. Keep up your good work and your professionalism.
Thank you very much for taking the time to leave us feedback about Ivy Grove. Your words have truly uplifted every member of our team. Thank you for recognising their hard work. It was a pleasure to have your mother reside with us at Ivy Grove. We will miss your mum, but you and your family are forever welcome at Ivy Grove. Many thanks from the Ivy Grove Team.
My dad was a resident at Ivy Grove Care Home for six months until his death in November 2024. All the staff there are so kind and helpful: carers, reception, catering and management staff alike. The home itself is bright and cheerful with spacious rooms and a lovely garden and there is a broad programme of activities. Individual outings can be arranged too which I particularly appreciated. As a non-resident I haven't given a full review of the food as I didn't have any main meals but I enjoyed the sandwiches and cakes on special occasions such as Father's Day. After dad died, I missed my daily visits to Ivy Grove so I still pop in from time to time and I am always made to feel most welcome.
Thank you very much for taking the time to leave us feedback about your experience. It means the world to us to know that our team provided such a kind and helpful environment for your father. We genuinely appreciate you still popping in from time to time; you'll always be met with a warm welcome. Your continued connection means a lot to everyone here at Ivy Grove. Many thanks, Ivy Grove team.
We would like to thank the team for a lovely afternoon. The entertainment was excellent, my mum had a few teary moments. And everyone joined in the sing-along. The chefs put on a lovely selection of sandwiches, cake, fruits, and chips. Thank you all from the lovely receptionist, and the other young ladies always have time for a chat, and all the carers for the amazing work for our loved one. Thank you to the manager. We had a wonderful afternoon
Thank you very much for taking the time to leave us feedback about your experience. Thank you so much for your wonderful review. We're thrilled you and your mum had such a lovely VE Day afternoon. We are delighted that you enjoyed the food and the company of our team. Many thanks, Ivy Grove Team
The care home is lovely, lots of entertainment, always something going on, from painting to flower arranging, staff are very caring, nothing too big for them, chefs serve up delicious food, always accommodating to dietary needs, ladies on reception are friendly, and housekeeping do a good job.

We visited a friend who has recently moved into Ivy Grove and were pleased to hear from her that she is settling in well. The staff were welcoming and cheerful and there was a really lovely atmosphere. I have given an average rating for food and drink because, as visitors, we did not have any refreshments so you can't comment.
Hello Wendy, thank you very much for taking the time to leave us feedback about your experience. At Ivy Grove Care Home - Care UK we set a high standard for ourselves, so we are very pleased to hear that your experience with us has been a positive one.
I am very impressed with all the staff of the home from the manager down. They all seem to know the residents well and engage fully with them including my next of kin, and her needs are certainly being met and she accepts and trusts them which wasn't the case when she had daily carers at home who she viewed with suspicion. The care, activities, decor and general ambience is great.

April and the team were really warm and welcoming to dad and I. Dad feels like Ivy Grove is now something of a second home for him. He's made great friends with the team and with other residents there. The rooms are lovely, big and have great facilities. There are always activities going on every day to keep dad entertained. The food is of a very high standard and plenty of it too. I'd like to thank everyone there for looking after dad so well - I know he's in good hands at Ivy Grove and means that I don't have to worry.
Thank you so much for your honest feedback and your kind words. We love having your father with us as he brings so much joy to our residents and team. Kind regards Grove Team
I can't speak highly enough of this care home. They looked after my father-in-law until he passed. The whole team are the most caring people I have ever met. Nothing is too much trouble for any of them. The rooms are lovely and kept spotless. The furniture they provide is excellent. The food is all freshly prepared and the choice is amazing. They have entertainment daily and make sure all the residents are happy. Any medical issues are reported to a doctor who visits the home regularly. My father-in-law was so happy here.
Thank you so much for your kind words. We loved your father-in-law and we were so honoured to have him in our home, Thank you your husband and your family once again for choosing Ivy Grove as a care home for your loved one. Kind regards Grove Team.

Meet the Team (1)

I share Care UK’s ethos, and I am proud to be a part of the Ivy Grove family.
My experience working as a General Manager at Ivy Grove has been very fulfilling. I work closely with my team to deliver high-quality care and a person-centred lifestyle to all of our residents at the home.
I hold a graduate diploma in law, and I am proud to have achieved a 1st class degree in nursing. In this role, it is important to have good interpersonal skills and empathy, and to be transparent in everything that I do. My favourite part of the day is when I start in the morning and interact with my team and the residents—it’s always nice to see smiles on the residents' faces at the start of the day.
Outside of work, I play football, tennis, and rugby with my friends. I also look forward to spending time with my children and being a part of the activities that they are in. I am always proud to see their achievements, be they big or small.
