Respite stays are subject to a 20% uplift on the prices shown above. Fees are subject to a pre-admission
needs assessment which is required to fully understand the level of care and support required by each

other privately arranged healthcare. Should you require an escort to hospital appointments, we may apply
an agreed hourly charge for this service.

Disappointed that the mini bus has been sold and not replaced, disappointed that residents will now have to pay for their own taxis if they wish to go out socially.
Disturbed that lighting on the top floor has not been repaired after 6 weeks.
Unhappy that my resident's radiators have not worked for
some weeks during this cold spell of weather, despite being reported more that once in the maintenance book.
Surprised that the excellent long term cook has been removed and replaced by a relative.
Individual carers and deputy managers are very good.

The home is run for the resident's comfort and pleasure, treating them as senior citizens who appreciate the good things in life. The residents are largely left to choose what they want to do when and where they want to do it and are supported in doing it by some very kind and helpful staff. The residence
is kept clean and tidy without being overdone and not too regimented. My mother is very happy and comfortable, requires very little help, but very much appreciated the security and knowledge that if she needs help it is always in hand.

Jacob Mante

Job Title: General Manager

I share Care UK’s ethos, and I am proud to be a part of the Ivy Grove family.


My experience working as a General Manager at Ivy Grove has been very fulfilling. I work closely with my team to deliver high-quality care and a person-centred lifestyle to all of our residents at the home.


I hold a graduate diploma in law, and I am proud to have achieved a 1st class degree in nursing. In this role, it is important to have good interpersonal skills, and empathy, and to be transparent in everything that I do. My favourite part of the day is when I start in the morning and interact with my team and the residents—it’s always nice to see smiles on the residents' faces at the start of the day.


Outside of work, I play football, tennis, and rugby with my friends. I also look forward to spending time with my children and being a part of the activities that they are in. I am always proud to see their achievements, be they big or small.
