From the very first visit, it was clear that this care home is truly exceptional. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and calm, and it immediately feels more like a home than a facility. The staff are the heart of the home - every carer shows genuine kindness, patience, and respect, treating residents with dignity at all times.

I regularly Volunteer at Karma Live-in Care - Coventry Road. I have found the staff to be professional, helpful and approachable. There is a homely and friendly atmosphere in the care home, and the residents appear to be cared for well and their cultural foods and needs are catered for. All the rooms have ensuite showers.

My father has lived here for 2 years. He has severe mobility issues, offers acute mental and behavioural challenges and mild dementia. Karma Liv-in has taken over the key thing: responsibility for his quality of life. The management have worked to understand my father and support him and they've done this to such an extent that I no longer have to worry about him.

My grandmother moved into Karma Liv-In in March 2018 and the staff have really helped her settle well. Very caring and loving environment. I always feel welcomed when I go and see my nan. My nan, in her own words, said to me "It feels like I am with my family" which says a lot about the staff and management. They celebrated her 91st birthday even though none of the family members were able to attend. I am able to freely express my opinion to the manager and the owner, who are very approachable and helpful. A Big thank you to everyone at Karma Liv-In!

When we sent my son to Karma Liv-in, he had the best day, he seemed very happy and he greeted us goodbye very well.

When my son attended his assessment his actions and behaviour showed he was very happy. When my son came back home he kept on speaking the names of the staff which shows us that he had a good holiday with staff members. All the credit goes to Karma Liv-in staff. We really appreciate what you have done by taking care of our son.

From my time as a voluntary staff I can confirm this is an idyllic residential home for those who are in need of a residential home. The team have created a homely environment, treating each client as family. They make sure all clients’ needs are met and provide them with various indoor activities and numerous outings. They truly make a great difference. Working with the team has been an educating and enjoyable experience. They have equipped me with skills that will be beneficial to my future career. Without hesitation, I would recommend Karma Liv-in care home anyone in need of a residential home. The staff are amazing! The care home is amazing !

As a work experience volunteer I would recommend any service user to Karma liv-in because of the following:

-the home and facilities are in high standard and met or conform with all Care quality commission guidelines (CQC)
-staff are highly trained and very professional in carrying out their care duties and responsibilities.
-The home is well lit and am pleased with the out-door facilities.

-service users are treated with respect and dignity.

As a volunteer who who is studying Health and social care in college (BTEC level 3) given the opportunity to have a week work experience there was amazing. I have been to many residential care homes for work experience; and highly recommend Karma Liv-in to every client or service user. I will definitely like to work there after I finished my care course and gain my BTEC level 3 qualification.

Overall Experience

My husband felt relaxed within ten minutes of arriving. They had already asked about what he'd done for a living, if there were any particular tv programmes he enjoyed and any foods he didn't like. I felt very relaxed when I left him, knowing he was in safe hands. They phoned my daughter with medical a worry, she gave permission for them to contact the GP. They said they had conversations about cars etc I don't think he really wanted to come home!! Knowing he would be looked after helped me enjoy my break. Hopefully the next time he requires respite, I do hope they have a vacancy.
