Willow Tree Lodge is a modern home which has the very best facilities available to provide residents with high quality care.

Round the clock care is provided by the warm and friendly staff, who understand the complex needs of their residents.

Outside of the home there is an outside terrace, and balcony and a conservatory for residents to enjoy spending time in. Each bedroom has been decorated and furnished to a high standard to residents feel as comfortable and at home as possible.

As well as a running many clubs, the home provides entertainment ranging from film afternoons to fitness activities for all residents to take part in.

My 93-year-old mum is very comfortable and well-cared for at Willow Tree Lodge. She is in lovely surroundings and the staff are wonderful, she tells me how marvellous they are every time I see her and what a nice place it is!

Willow Tree Lodge staff team are not just a wonderful group of people, they are an extension to our family! The care and love that they give to our Mum is outstanding. Throughout the last year of covid restrictions, we have known that Mum has been extremely well cared for and loved. Her dementia needs
have been so carefully and lovingly met. She is so happy in her own world which is largely due to the stimulation and personal care of the staff team. They treat Mum as an individual and ensure that her care is highly personalized and at her own pace.
We would thoroughly recommend this care home to others as the care, love and attention to individual needs is phenomenal. A home from home and family ethos is evident throughout the whole home. We can never put into words how grateful we are to the manager and the whole team for how much they have done for Mum especially over this intense last year.

My Mother had been a resident at Willow Tree Lodge since 1st February 2016. She has a lovely garden facing room. She has been extremely happy there. The staff are absolutely amazing. So attentive and caring. The manager is an outstanding manager. Always available for a chat. So caring and kind with
the residence and always there for them. The food also is outstanding, fresh local produce. We have had many a Sunday roast with my Mother, always made welcome. So happy my Mother is a resident at Willow Tree Lodge. The manager will be sadly missed.

From the outset, when we first made an enquiry at the home, we have been so impressed with the level of care and attention from the manager and the team. This has continued from when we moved Mum in, up until the current day. The team at the home are fantastic with nothing ever being too much bother.
We cannot rate the home highly enough. Thank you to the manager and her team for everything you all do and for giving us peace of mind that Mum is receiving the very best care.

My mum has been a resident at Willow Tree Lodge for almost six years, where she has regarded it as her home. She has been very happy there and even though her capabilities have deteriorated, she is always happy and content. The care she receives is exemplary, she is treated with love and kindness by
the wonderful staff who go above and beyond to keep me informed. They are like an extended family to us, a wonderful team. I have no hesitation in recommending Willow Tree Lodge if you need residential care for a loved one.

Willow Tree is a relatively small establishment. The upside is that this allows for more personal care for residents and better communication for relatives and visitors. The downside is that the facilities are a little constrained and activities not as grand as on offer in some larger establishments.
In my view, the pluses outweigh any limitations.

Extremely happy with all aspects of the home. The staff are excellent and extremely accommodating. I have regular discussing with the home manager. I also get emails if I need updating on any issue relating to my mother. My mother, every time I have visited or called, is happy and content in herself,
her room is always clean tidy and aired.
I can only highly recommend this home.

My mother became a resident in May 2019, this involved transferring from out of the area. Following the initial approach from myself on behalf of my mother, the manager and the team were very helpful, this was much appreciated as it came at a particularly stressful time for my mother and the wider family
and the professionalism/compassion from the team made facilitating the smooth transition for my mother a seamless experience. Mum quickly settled in and has made several friends. Whenever we visit her there are always lots of staff on site and all display a real dedication to provide the best possible care/environment for the residents. I would have no hesitation in recommending Willow Tree Lodge.

This is a very friendly, caring and welcoming home. The staff are really attentive and caring. Mum is very settled here and we are very happy with her care. Always kept up to date with any health issues that have occurred.

My mother was admitted into Willow Tree Lodge in March 2018, it had been a tough year due to my father passing away a year earlier leaving myself and my brothers to take over our mothers care. Under our doctor's advice, we started looking at care homes and Willow Tree Lodge stood out from any we had
looked at. We arranged a home visit with one of the care managers who from vast experience knew that as a family we were struggling to come to terms with the decision of having to put our mother in a care home, it's almost a feeling of failure. Her calm and warm manner towards our mother and ourselves gave us an instant feeling of care, not only for our mum but for us as her children. The attention to detail that all the staff in the care home organised before our mum's arrival was nothing more than overwhelming. Ensuring that her room mirrored her room at home to try and make her feel as secure and comfortable in this very difficult transition. All the staff are in my opinion amazing, caring.

As a family, we continue to be delighted by the overall level of care and support provided by the Management and Staff at Willow Tree Lodge. Notwithstanding the challenges created by my Mother's condition, she and the other patients are treated with respect, patience, empathy and a genuine willingness
to meet their needs. The Staff have taken the time to get to know my Mum as an individual and try and anticipate her needs / understand how best to engage her despite the challenges of her Dysphasia. As a consequence, my Mum has been able to come to trust the Staff and this has been undoubtedly a key factor in her now being settled into the routine and being comfortable with the overall environment. She now sees it as where she lives. Of particular note is individual Staff members being keen to share when Mum has got involved in an activity and had a smile on her face. It is a real comfort to feel the Staff are as keen as we are to see Mum happy. I would strongly recommend Willow Tree.

The staff at Willow Tree Lodge have been exceptional in caring for my mother. The management has gone above and beyond their duties to ensure she feels treasured. The entertainment has been excellent especially at Christmas time making it a real home from home. I feel very reassured knowing that my

We tried for years to keep Mum out of residential care, thinking she was better in her own home but as soon as she went to Willow Tree Lodge we could see that her quality of life had improved 100%, with the freedom to move around and lovely people to interact with 24 hours a day. Willow Tree feels like
a home, not like a hospital or a school or other institution, striking just the right balance between professional and homely. It is the exceptional quality of management, empathy and attention to detail exercised by the Manager that makes Willowtree so good, and inspires all the staff to the highest standards in their various jobs.

Mum moved into Willow Tree Lodge at the end of October and was made to feel extremely welcome. All the staff are amazing and nothing is too much trouble. My brother and I visited several Residential Homes and decided instantly that Willow Tree stood head and shoulders above the rest.

Mum has been treated with loving care and respect. She was very unkeen to go into a home but has since admitted she was worried about nothing. The staff are so lovely and genuinely care about the residents. I have peace of mind knowing she is somewhere so lovely. It doesn't feel like a care home just
a warm and comfortable homely place to live.

My relative has been at Willow Tree Lodge for 8 months and fitted in very quickly. She speaks very highly of the staff for their kindness and care. I personally have never seen an unhappy person at the home. The staff are always smiley and very helpful.
The summer garden party and Christmas party were
fun with the residents participating in the entertainment.

After much searching for a care home for my mother, I entrusted Willow Tree Lodge to take care of my Mum. (A very difficult decision)
She was a resident for 5 years, and during this time she was treated with utmost respect kindness and love.
As her illness progressed(Dementia), her dignity was paramount
to all the wonderful staff. The family were always made to feel very welcome, including our family dog, which gave Mum much pleasure.
Standards of hygiene and cleanliness exceeded by a big margin all the other homes I visited. Regular maintenance and improvement were always seen as a priority.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Willow Tree Lodge.

Hannah Dear

Job Title: Registered Manager Joined: 2021

Hannah Dear is the Registered Manager and has worked in the care industry for all her adult working life spending 18 years in her previous role.  She has worked her way up from a Carer to Home Manager over this period.


During her time in the industry, Hannah has obtained a myriad of care-related qualifications, including her  Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management.  She joined us in Willow Tree Lodge in September 2021 and became the Registered Manager a few months later, where we hope she will remain for a long time.

Hannah Foster

Job Title: Deputy Manager Joined: 2012

Hannah Foster is one of the two Deputy Managers here at Willow Tree. She has been with us over 10 years, joining us back in 2012 as a Carer.

Loved by the residents, Hannah has proved a great asset to the home by working her way up, firstly to a Senior Carer and now the Deputy Manager.

Hannah has decided to further her qualifications by working towards her Level 4 Diploma in Health and Social Care and will hopefully be with us for the next 10 years.

Emma Livings

Job Title: Deputy Manager Joined: 2014

Emma Livings has been working at Willow Tree Lodge for nine years and during this time she has gained her Level 2 and 3 in Health and Social Care. She has now decided to progress further and has started working towards her Level 4.


Emma joined us as a Carer back at the beginning of 2014 and has fulfilled a myriad of roles including a Team Leader, Senior Carer, Medication Lead and now one of the Deputy Managers.

Jodie Downer

Job Title: Manager Support Joined: 2021

Jodie has worked at Willow Tree Lodge since March 2021, she previously worked at our sister home Kiln Lodge as a Deputy Manager. Jodie has been in the care sector since 2016 but decided she preferred the HR/Admin side of the role.


Jodie has achieved her Level 4 in Adult Social Care and is currently working towards her NVQ 3 in Business Administration.
