Willow Tree Lodge is a modern home which has the very best facilities available to provide residents with high quality care.

Round the clock care is provided by the warm and friendly staff, who understand the complex needs of their residents.

Outside of the home there is an outside terrace, and balcony and a conservatory for residents to enjoy spending time in. Each bedroom has been decorated and furnished to a high standard to residents feel as comfortable and at home as possible.

As well as a running many clubs, the home provides entertainment ranging from film afternoons to fitness activities for all residents to take part in.

The home is excellent, extremely clean and welcoming. All of the staff are lovely and caring. My mum is treated with the utmost respect and dignity at all times. There are plenty of activities and entertainment with a lovely Christmas party for relatives, residents and staff. Mum has settled in well
and has a much better quality of life than before. Overall the home is excellent

The care of my mother and all residents at Willow Tree Lodge is exemplary. It stands out head and shoulders above the other homes that I have looked at for her care. Mothers behaviour can be pretty challenging at times however the staff have a great way of bringing her round. Maintenance of dignity
and wellbeing is at the forefront of care. The environment is lovely, always clean in a very well maintained house and grounds. There is a good choice of food with dietary requirements catered for. I am always well informed with regards to mums wellbeing and health. I am always welcomed when I visit the care-home with a friendly smile. When my mother first needed to go into care, Willow Tree was my first choice but unfortunately, there were no vacancies at that time. Her prior care home closed and I felt very fortunate indeed to find a vacancy at Willow Tree. Mum settled there very quickly due to the fabulous carers and has been there for over a year. My thanks to the care manager and team.

Wonderful home, such lovely and caring staff. My Mother has literally blossomed since she's been there for just over 2 years. Such a relief knowing that she is in good hands and so well looked after. Can't fault in any way.

My Aunt understandably took time to settle into the home and was quite difficult in those early days but the staff were very patient and understanding and adapted to my Aunt's needs (demands!) i.e. cups of tea during the night, a shower at 6 am. She is now very much at home, has a hearty appetite and
enjoys the food on offer and the staff are clearly genuinely fond of her and very supportive and concerned for her needs.
Whenever we visit they are always there talking and interacting with the residents and the home provides a varied and frequent entertainment program for everyone.

My mother has been resident at Willow Tree Lodge for 6 years and has always been well supported. Staff are willing to listen to any concerns and have acted promptly with regard to health issues. Staff, in particular, appear very caring and patient with residents and flexible in their approach to changing
needs and behaviour. Residents are treated with dignity and respect and personal issues dealt with sensitively. My mother appears happy in her situation and my sister and I feel confident she is being well cared for in pleasant surroundings.

When I visit my mother I am always greeted by a friendly face and my mother seems to be very happy there. All the staff are very friendly and chatty. I do feel like my mother has now got a better life and is so much happier that what she was living on her own.

Clean, welcoming, light and airy environment. Friendly, caring conscientious staff, always willing to help and make a cup of tea after a long journey to see my mum. Superb record keeping so they can tell you instantly of recent events during their resident's stay. I am very comfortable with my mum living

The staff at Willow Tree Lodge have consistently and sensitively looked after my friend for the past year even as her condition has deteriorated. They are welcoming, friendly and caring, the premises are clean, warm and comfortable, the entertainment is good and varied and the residents appear to be

The home provides a clean, safe, stable and friendly environment for the residents. On each of my visits over the past six months, I have only observed the caring way in which all the staff deal with the residents. I feel that I couldn't have made a better choice for the care of my mother.

My Mother-in-law was a resident at Willow Tree before she passed away this year.
I can't say how much the care and compassion they showed to my Mother-in-law and to the family.
I would recommend this home to anyone. She was so well looked after. The management and staff were wonderful.

My Grandmother has been at the Care home for roughly 3years. She's possibly the eldest resident at 103years. I feel, thanks to the care, warmth and compassion that Staff shows to my Granny, she aspires to still want to get up/dressed/ she always appears clean in appearance/hair and nails always done
(which was always a regular routine in my Nan's life). I can see she loves being there and wants to live as long as possible. I can tell she's totally comfortable being there which is very important, as she didn't want to go into a Care Home at all. I feel that once you set foot in the door of the home, many of the Staff (on all levels) provide such a high standard of care, respect, patience, time to all of the residents. I notice different residents all want attention or have their needs met in a particular way, or need information repeated. I've never witnessed a staff member seem frustrated, impatient, raise their voice - every Staff member seems calm, considerate, and has a patient nature.

Mum has been a resident for nearly 3 years and has been very well cared for and has been very happy. Whenever we visit, we are always welcomed and are impressed with how clean and tidy she is along with her room. Furthermore, our family dog is also made welcome and enjoyed by the other residents. We
are confident that the home would contact us as soon as any problem should arise concerning Mum, which gives great peace of mind.

My uncle has been resident at Willow Tree Lodge for approximately 18 months. He suffers from vascular dementia which does not appear to bother him too much. My cousin takes him out for tea and a ride in the country which he enjoys very much. My uncle appears to be happy and content at Willow Tree Lodge.

We have had two, much cared for relatives in WTL (Willow Tree Lodge) for about two years. Sadly one of them has recently died but the care that was given to him while he was in the home and even more so as his health declined was absolutely second to none. As importantly, the support given to the surviving
partner throughout the illness and eventual passing away of her partner was complete, full of care and compassion and always given more as friends than carers. In our view, there is unlikely to be a care home anywhere which reaches the standards of care, support and friendship provided to those lucky enough to be looked after at WTL.

Mum has been a resident for a few months now and seems very settled and happy in her new environment.


She speaks well of the staff who are very attentive and enjoys her meals.


From my experience, when visiting Mum, it is obvious that the level of dedication of the staff is high.

Modern building with excellent facilities and a nice welcoming feel. Lovely setting with nice views and garden. Extremely well run. Management and staff are welcoming to visitors, clearly highly motivated, to provide care to my mum and seem to enjoy what they do. In the time my mum has been there, staff
have been a constant presence with no changes which is reassuring.
Mum's room is lovely, well decorated and with a nice view. She spends some time there but a lot of time in the lounge with other residents. Plenty of entertainment and regular engagement with the staff. Food is excellent, with a varied menu and this has restored mum's appetite. Mum is proud of her appearance and the staff make sure she always looks her best. Like all children, I was worried about how mum would find the move to a care home but knowing mum is safe and being well cared for is a great relief. Mum's dementia is tough for her and for us but going to see her is made easier by the staff and the surroundings. Top class care.

The staff are always friendly and know the residents by name and who the relatives are.


The facilities are perfect for Dementia needs of the residents, bedrooms are light and airy, not too many doors to manage, lift available, lots of colour around, wide corridors, comfy chairs with high backs for

support, real home from home atmosphere.


Safety and security is excellent.

Hannah Dear

Job Title: Registered Manager Joined: 2021

Hannah Dear is the Registered Manager and has worked in the care industry for all her adult working life spending 18 years in her previous role.  She has worked her way up from a Carer to Home Manager over this period.


During her time in the industry, Hannah has obtained a myriad of care-related qualifications, including her  Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management.  She joined us in Willow Tree Lodge in September 2021 and became the Registered Manager a few months later, where we hope she will remain for a long time.

Job Title: Deputy Manager Joined: 2012

Hannah Foster is one of the two Deputy Managers here at Willow Tree. She has been with us over 10 years, joining us back in 2012 as a Carer.

Loved by the residents, Hannah has proved a great asset to the home by working her way up, firstly to a Senior Carer and now the Deputy Manager.

Hannah has decided to further her qualifications by working towards her Level 4 Diploma in Health and Social Care and will hopefully be with us for the next 10 years.

Emma Livings

Job Title: Deputy Manager Joined: 2014

Emma Livings has been working at Willow Tree Lodge for nine years and during this time she has gained her Level 2 and 3 in Health and Social Care. She has now decided to progress further and has started working towards her Level 4.


Emma joined us as a Carer back at the beginning of 2014 and has fulfilled a myriad of roles including a Team Leader, Senior Carer, Medication Lead and now one of the Deputy Managers.

Jodie Downer

Job Title: Manager Support Joined: 2021

Jodie has worked at Willow Tree Lodge since March 2021, she previously worked at our sister home Kiln Lodge as a Deputy Manager. Jodie has been in the care sector since 2016 but decided she preferred the HR/Admin side of the role.


Jodie has achieved her Level 4 in Adult Social Care and is currently working towards her NVQ 3 in Business Administration.


Jodie is always eager to learn new skills and is not afraid of a challenge. She is a great asset to the team.
