I just wanted to thank everyone who was involved in making this such a lovely afternoon. Mum looked happy and settled, we had the most wonderful afternoon tea, fabulous sandwiches and cakes; and felt truly spoilt by all the staff who made such an effort to make sure it was a perfect experience.
When you live a long way away, these catch-ups are really important and your team made it very special.
Thank you so much for your kind words. We are so pleased you had a lovely time before your drive home. I will pass your kind words onto the team.
From the moment my sister and I met the customer relationship manager, we were very impressed with her. She answered all our questions and put our minds at rest regarding Mum’s care and health issues. Nothing is too much trouble for the customer relationship manager. She is lovely to deal with and always happy to talk if we need to ask anything. My sisters and I are very happy that our dear mum is being cared for so well in this home. The customer relationship manager and all the staff are just fabulous!
Thank you so much for your kind words. I will pass them on to the customer relationship manager and the team. Kind regards.
The costs are very high for us but the home is such an amazing facility where the staff clearly enjoy providing a first-class environment for all residents.
Thank you so much for your kind review. We are so glad you enjoyed Admiral Courts Mother's Day celebrations and are happy with the care and support that your mum is receiving, it means the world to the team here at Admiral Court.
The hospitality team at Admiral Court always go the extra mile to make special occasions memorable. Mother's Day had an afternoon tea and decorations and each resident was made to feel welcomed. The team are always on hand with food and beverages which are of a high standard. Congratulations to the whole hospitality and food team.
Thank you for your kind words and we are so pleased you enjoyed Mother's Day celebrations. I will pass your review on to the hospitality and kitchen team, here at Admiral Court.
I now have both my parents in Admiral Court and I have nothing but praise for the loving care and dedication shown by all the staff I have come across. The facilities are exceptional and the environment fosters positivity and happiness.
Thank you so much for your kind words. I will pass them onto the team.
Since my nan has been living in the home I've seen such an improvement in my nan's mental health and general well-being. She's more sociable and willing to join in activities. We thought we'd lost her earlier this year and seeing her come back to life has been lovely. The staff have been amazing.
We are so pleased that Nan's quality of life has improved since being at Admiral Court. I will pass on your kind words to the team.
Nan's quality of life has improved beyond words since being here. She gets involved in all activities and has made some lovely friends along the way. The staff will do anything for you and are amazing with my nan. Would recommend to anyone.
Thank you so much. We are so pleased that Nan's quality of life has improved since being at Admiral Court. I will pass on your kind words to the team.
My Mum was at Admiral Court for 10 months from July 2021. The staff understood the difficulties that families have in making the decision to move a loved one into residential care and supported us all. My Mum settled quickly and was very happy, she always had a smile for the carers and staff, and that demonstrated the welcoming and friendly atmosphere created by the staff. The care and help that my Mum received was impeccable from the moment that she arrived to her last day. The staff took the time to care for us as a family at a very difficult time and I cannot thank them enough for the support and care that they showed to my Mum and us, particularly in her final days. Thank you to everyone at Admiral Court and I would not hesitate to recommend Admiral Court to other families.
Thank you for your kind words. I will pass them on to the team.
From the first phone call to visit for a viewing to my friend moving in the staff were helpful and there was not anything that was too much trouble. The building is fresh and clean full of beautiful flowers that brighten all the rooms. My friend is loving all the meals and also liking that there is great choice. From day one she has been happy and settled which is the opposite of what I was expecting, as I thought it might take a while to adjust. I am kept informed of everything that is required. One of the highlights my friend is looking forward to is using the hair salon on a regular basis, just as she did when at home. All in all so happy my friend is in a place where she will be well looked after and cared for.
Thank you so much for you review. We are so pleased that your friend had settled in so well and enjoying her new home here at Admiral Court. I will pass on your kind words to the team.
Both my husband and myself have been residents at Admiral Court. He is an end-of-life/palliative resident needing nursing care and I have spent four weeks at Admiral Court to recuperate after extensive spinal surgery. I have been able to see how everything works on a daily basis. Apart from providing high-quality care, this establishment works with residents and their loved ones to generate a fulfilling lifestyle within a pleasant environment, both indoors and out. The overriding atmosphere is friendly, happy, and respectful. I cannot praise highly enough the commitment and patience of the care team and the good humour they bring to a challenging vocation.
Thank you so much for your kind words, I will pass them on to the team. I am so pleased your time at Admiral Court has been relaxing, recuperating, and enjoyable.
My parents are both at Admiral Court and have been resident since August 2021. I can't speak highly enough of the staff, the standard of care, the comfortable furnished guest rooms, and the facilities available for guests.
Thank you for your kind review. We are so pleased that you are happy with the care and facilities that your parents are experiencing and enjoying here at Admiral Court. We will pass your kind words on to the team.
Our mum suffers from vascular dementia and needs 24x7 support. We visited several care homes in the area and chose Admiral Court for the high level of amenities, cleanliness, care, and support that all the staff provides. Admiral Court has dedicated activity and dementia teams that work with mum to ensure she receives the care she needs. We have noticed a marked change in Mum's persona as a result of the support all staff have provided. Mum now calls Admiral Court her home and classifies it as her 5-star hotel! All the staff are approachable and cannot do enough to make our visits and mum's stay as pleasurable as possible. Would I recommend Admiral Court to others? I definitely would without any hesitation. Keep up the brilliant work Admiral Court and all our family appreciate all you do for mum.
Thank you so much for your review. We are delighted that mum now calls Admiral Court her home and classifies it as a 5-star hotel. I am so pleased that you and the family appreciate everything we do here at Admiral Court and that is shining through in mum's persona. I will pass on your kind words to the whole team.
My mother is living with Vascular Dementia and the family was becoming increasingly concerned about her general wellbeing, diet, and ability to take her own medication appropriately. Mum always remained fiercely independent but, after suffering a fall, she agreed to enter a care home.
Admiral Court is a delightful place. She has made new friends, has regained a large part of her “independence” and is thoroughly enjoying the experience. As a family, we are certain that Mum is being perfectly cared for and the facilities, cleanliness, and atmosphere we have seen during visits are exemplary.
We are so happy to hear that your mum is thoroughly enjoying her home here at Admiral Court and that as a family you have noticed a change in your mum since being here. I will pass on your kind words to the whole team.
Now thanks to the amazing care she receives from all the wonderful staff here, from the cleaners, cooks, activities staff, nurses, management, and everyday staff. My lovely friend will be cared for with affection and dignity.
Thank you so much for your kind review; we are so please that you feel your friend has a better quality of life here at Admiral Court. I will pass on your kind words to the whole team.
I can't praise the staff enough for the care they have given my sister and the support they have given us as a family at a very difficult time in our lives. They go above and beyond to make life as enjoyable and comfortable for my sister. It has a lovely welcoming feeling when you enter the home and is a pleasure to visit. I can't believe how well my sister looks and she is very content and happy in her new forever home.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback with us, we will pass your kind words onto the team. We love being able to care and support your sister in her new home. It can be a difficult transition when moving into care and we are so pleased that we were able to make this as stress-free as possible. Look forward to seeing you soon.
Sadly our grandad recently passed away, our Nan 89 had cared for him at home without complaint, during his final years. We needed to find a home that would provide her with comfort, support, and laughter. After looking at many homes, I can honestly say that this was the perfect fit. She still has her own privacy with a fully fitted ensuite but the reassurance that she can be assisted at any time. So many activities to choose from every day and the food is pretty amazing too. My Nan is beginning to smile again recently and is so fully deserved. Now it is Nan’s time to have some fun!
Thank you for your kind words, it was an absolute pleasure meeting your nan and the family along your journey in finding a care home. We are so proud of the activities and dining experience so it is wonderful to hear that your nan is having a great time with us.
She is happy and content in there and that is down to the staff and management. I can't thank you enough.
Thank you for taking the time to complete a review for us. It is lovely to hear how well your sister has settled in with us here at Admiral Court. We will share your feedback with our team. We are really enjoying getting to know you all.
Mum only came in this week but all the staff have been amazing, keeping us informed and making sure Mum is happy. It's been a huge change for all of us but everyone has made the transition so easy. Big thank you.
We have a dedicated team at Admiral Court to ensure that all the residents receive the best quality care we can provide.
Nan always said she never wanted to go into a care home, but after staying here for respite care, she never wanted to leave. Admiral Court has its residents' best interests at heart. The staff are caring, friendly and it's a home from home. As a family, this has been a great place for Nan to enjoy her latter years and would certainly recommend.
Thank you for your very kind words and we are so happy that your Nan is enjoying her stay. The team will always do their best to support your Nan so it's lovely that you have recognised them like this.
Haven't been able to see Mum often, or even regularly, due to Covid-19 restrictions - which is very upsetting. But I know she is safe and receiving very good care. She seems to be settling into her new 'upstairs' situation - and seems possibly a bit happier there. She has mood swings but the staff know her well now and know what helps her.
Thank you for your review and we are happy that mum has been settling well in the home. Although we have had our visiting suite open for visits as much as possible, we are looking to increase the visiting provision in the home going forward so more regular visits can happen for everyone.

Meet the Team (2)

With over 25 years in social care, I’m proud to be General Manager at Admiral Court Care Home, where my passion for care truly comes to life.
I joined Hallmark after being inspired by its focus on living well with dementia — and I’ve never looked back. Every day is different, filled with teamwork, energy, and purpose. I love supporting others to grow, creating a happy and safe home for residents and staff alike. Outside work, I enjoy time with my family, travelling, swimming, and relaxing with a good film and a glass of wine.

I am very humbled to have a job where I get to help families and loved ones on their journey in making a very difficult decision to come into care, easier.
I always wanted to make a positive difference in someone’s life, even if just a little, being a Customer Relationship Manager helps me do this every day. Taking a little of the emotional burden they are feeling away, but most of all letting them know they are not alone and I am here to walk that journey with them, side by side.
To make a difference to someone’s life is a truly special position to be in. My job enables me to do this every day. I love what I do.
