My mother has been a resident at Grange House for a year. She has always been treated with kindness and thoughtfulness from all staff, who respect her wishes and understand her needs.
As Mum's condition develops, I am confident that Grange House will continue to provide a safe, secure and calm environment
for her.

My mother improved so much while staying at Grange House. She enjoyed the daily activities and the staff were very kind and supportive. The home felt very homely as it is not so big. Mum enjoyed the excellent food and I could visit any time and I was always made to feel welcome.

Solid core of staff that have been there since Mum moved in two years ago. It's a lovely care home and I would fully recommend! Staff have an excellent rapport with residents and visitors and are very attentive and caring. They work very hard and could benefit from a couple more staff for their own
wellbeing.

My father has been a resident at Grange House for almost a year and in that time I have visited several times week. In my experience, the staff at Grange House treat the residents with care, kindness, patience and an understanding of their individual needs and characters. The environment is clean and
cosy and with a maximum of 17 residents, there is a real family atmosphere. Dad has enjoys food greatly and a specially baked cake for all the residents to share on his birthday was really appreciated.

My wife has now been in this care home for 15 months, she has dementia. All the staff there are very helpful and go out of their way to make the residents as happy and comfortable as is possible. The home is kept spotlessly clean and the accommodation for the residents is first class. The management
are always ready and willing to discuss any problems that may arise. Overall, I am very satisfied with the care that is being given to my wife and I would recommend this home to anybody who needs care. Vacancies do not come up very often, this shows that this care home is one of the best in Eastbourne.

Grange House is a very welcoming home with friendly staff who make every effort to ensure the resident's well being. Bedrooms and communal lounges are spacious, tastefully decorated and afford lovely views of the grounds and surrounding area. The standard of care is excellent and the staff interaction
with the residents encourages both individual and group activities. The home provides an environment where residents can thrive and I would have no hesitation in recommending it to others as it was to us in the first instance.

Grange House is a friendly and homely environment. Mum is happy and well-cared for and her quality of life has improved considerably. The house itself is bright and clean and there is a programme of activities including sing-a-longs.

I had the pleasure of visiting mum every day over a three day

period. I saw many instances of this being a well-run and professional team whose training and dedication are shown in the everyday things they do for all the residents.

In my opinion, the hard-working manager and staff are a credit to their profession.

My husband came to Grange House as a permanent resident in March. I chose Grange House because it is small and friendly. My choice has proved to be right. The staff know all the residents, there is a happy atmosphere and activities which they can join in.
My husband comments on how good the food is.
Everything in the home is done to meet individual resident's needs. The décor is bright and modern but cosy too.
I have always been welcomed by the staff.

When mum needed respite care for a week we looked at various homes and I was impressed with the cleanliness and pleasant manner of the staff. When we decided this would be suitable for mum, the manager visited mum at home and got all the details to suit what was good for mum. The manager has a very
calm and reassuring nature and mum only went in for a week but came out looking great. I visited mum every other day and the staff are so friendly and kind, all mum's requirements were met and every member of staff knew exactly what mum's needs were. Mum had a very positive experience and that lasted while she went back home and saw her visit not as being offloaded somewhere but more as a little holiday. We are hopefully getting mum back there shortly as other homes she has stayed at were not quite as good.

We looked at a number of care homes in Eastbourne to find one suitable for our mum who has dementia. We wanted somewhere that felt warm and homely and not too much like an establishment. Mum moved into Grange House 3 months ago now and we're so relieved that we found this place!
From day one, the staff
have welcomed mum with smiling faces and displayed a confidence in caring for her needs. We visit mum at all sorts of different times of day and we're always welcomed by the staff and given refreshments. When we've asked questions, whether face-to-face or by email, we always get a quick and positive response. I've been really impressed with the way the managers run Grange House and it's also worth mentioning the housekeeper who makes sure that mum's room always looks clean and tidy and her clothes are laundered. Big thank you to all the staff who have helped mum and us manage the difficult transition from independent living to care home.

We felt very fortunate to find Grange House at the time my father needed it. As soon as I went to look round, I appreciated the calm, positive atmosphere in the home. It felt pleasantly relaxed, with the freedom to choose what to do and where to be. There are quiet areas where you can go and sit if
you don't want to be in the main lounge, and also a piano, which my father enjoyed playing. The home has a light, airy feel and the rooms were lovely and well-decorated. The manager was excellent. Communication was very clear, I was kept well-informed and the home was run in a very efficient way. I really appreciated this. The carers I met were all very pleasant, helpful and kind. I've been meaning to write this review for some time, as sadly my father has now passed away.
