My father recently came to the home for respite for two weeks. This was also a test to see how he would settle in. I was delighted how quickly he did settle. All this was due to the extremely welcoming staff. All staff have to date been very caring and pleasant. I feel confident my father will be happy and well cared for at the Coppice Lodge, which makes my decision to move him there so much easier.

I think small improvements could be made after speaking to management staff today. I personally did have issues with some of the food.
Thank you for taking the time to write a review for us to see. We take all feedback extremely seriously and as you know, have been in regular contact with yourself and your family where the points you raise have previously been addressed. Please feel free to speak with our care team and kitchen...
I highly recommend Coppice Lodge. Nothing is too much trouble. I could ring any time to speak to staff and my husband, who has now unfortunately passed away. I knew he was settled and well cared for in the short time he was there. I would like to thank all the staff for looking after my husband and caring for him. Thank you so much.

I have been so happy and content, the staff know my friends and all look after me in their own profession.
We are very grateful for this review and would like to say thank you for taking the time to post this for us to see! We are very pleased that you are enjoying your time with us. It is important our residents feel relaxed and at ease. We will be sure to pass this message onto our team as they will be happy to receive such lovely feedback.
During the period Mum went into Coppice Lodge, the care shown to her during this difficult period was great. They did everything they could to stop Covid from infecting the residents. Unfortunately, at Christmas, Mum did catch it and has survived due to her stubbornness and the fantastic care offered by the overworked staff. They kept me up to date on her condition on a daily basis. It was nice to know she has people around her that cared when we couldn't be there. They encouraged her to eat and drink when she had almost given up. Any concerns I raised have always been dealt with in a polite and professional way. I cannot rate the activities as they have been dramatically reduced, but the staff tried their hardest to come up with something.
Thank you for kindly taking the time to write a review and for the lovely way you have described our home. We are proud to deliver person-centred care by taking the time to get to know the resident and their likes and dislikes enabling our team to build valuable relationships between our care team...
Front of house always excellent. Management almost always available to "chat". Staff very good with some outstanding in their thoughtfulness and "understanding" of my dad's needs, mood swing and "personal space". Dad is so much "better off" being in Coppice Lodge than when we were trying to cope in his home! Thanks.

We continue to have a very good experience with Coppice Lodge. Nothing is too much trouble, and they take excellent care. The staff are very friendly, provide guidance and keep us informed. It has been very reassuring over these last few months to know this level of care is in place.

I have been very pleased with the care that my parents have received at Coppice Lodge throughout the pandemic, and the high standards of the staff and carers have been excellent. It is very hard to not touch and see Mum and Dad more regularly, but I am very heartened that they receive love and attention from the home to make up for it. Thank you for all you do - much appreciated.

From our first contact with Coppice Lodge, we realised we (as a family), were going to be supported alongside our mother. After initial concern, we had our fears laid, and gladly our mum has settled well, and is having 5-star care. A million thank you's.

I have been an advocate for a gentleman who is a resident in Coppice Lodge for the 18-months. Prior to that, I regularly visited other residents. The staff at Coppice Lodge as the best! The care they give is excellent and always tailored to individual residents needs. The home is always spotlessly clean. Throughout the pandemic, staff have supported the residents in a dedicated and professional, as well as compassionate way.

We have been overwhelmed by the personal care and attention received from all the team members at Coppice Lodge. The management has gone out of their way to ensure that not only is my mother cared for but the rest of the family too. We are all extremely thankful that our mother is being cared for so well, giving us complete peace of mind. Our mother's wellbeing couldn't be any better, bearing in mind the current circumstances. Thank you to all at Coppice Lodge.
Thank you so much for your review. We are so pleased to hear that your mum's move has been a positive experience for you all. We are very proud of our staff team, many of whom have been with us since our home opened, and we see lots of examples of them going above and beyond for their residents. Thank you again for the kind words which I shall be sure to pass on.
The staff are very helpful and friendly.

I have been very satisfied with the genuine friendliness of all the staff towards visitors and the residents. The Coronavirus pandemic has made it difficult to see my father, however, I have found great comfort from staff members reporting on Dad's health, wellbeing and participation in activities. Thank you.

At the time the review relates to (because of Covid); my mother has been at Coppice Lodge for three years and now four years. She has really enjoyed being there, and how well she's looked after. From my point of view and peace of mind, she could not be anywhere better.

The carers have been amazing whilst caring for my mum, they have answered more questions than any other professionals we have dealt with, they have been the ones to help my mum receive the care she needs and they have kept us informed at every step. They have understood our situation and I'm so impressed with how kind and caring they are, I would highly recommend them, well done everyone at Coppice Lodge, keep up the good work.

All the staff are friendly and helpful. I've eaten meals and snacks which have been homemade and of excellent quality. The entertainment that I've seen (many before lockdown) is always very good. If I have to go into care in later life I hope it's somewhere like Coppice Lodge.
Thank you so much for reviewing our home. We appreciate your kind words and will make sure your comments are passed on to the whole staff team.
