Our mother moved into Coppice Lodge with a great deal of trepidation and worry because it meant a huge change in her previous life. Thanks to the kindness and care of the Manager and each and every one of her staff, Mum settled in so quickly and she has gone from strength to strength. Coppice Lodge
has given Mum a new lease of life and a smile on her face. Near ones and dear ones are welcome at all times to visit, which is reassurance in itself and give us peace of mind.

I first went to Coppice Lodge to see what it was like, it was a real eye-opener, and put my husband in a room there. Once he had been through all the necessary questions he did his first respite there and he absolutely loved it and still does. The staff are very friendly and are so good with people
with advanced dementia. We were encouraged to have meals with them. The only thing that relatives of people with dementia want is them to be safe and content and have routine and Coppice Lodge gives all this and more.
The lodge itself is very clean, the rooms are clean and comfortable. They frequently have entertainment and I find it is rewarding to see staff dancing with people in the audience, laughing and singing to the music.

I feel that Coppice Lodge has a very good system in which there is always something going on for the residents. The staff are all there to help or advise you. The manageress is very understanding, along with everyone else in the office.

My mother-in-law was moved to Coppice Lodge after her home care became inadequate. I would highly recommend Coppice Lodge. From the initial meeting to her being moved in, all the staff went out of their way to help her settle in. I have had experience of several care homes in the past and this is much

What a beautiful home. Wonderful clean decor and surroundings. I thought I had entered a quality hotel.
My mum loved it. Her room was spacious, good quality furnishings, beautiful decor and all rooms en-suite ensuring privacy and dignity. The food was plentiful, nutritious and tasty. The staff were
amazing all of them happy and caring towards the residents, myself and each other. The communal areas are spacious, a mini cinema, hairdressing salon, chiropodist, all-inclusive in my opinion a perfect haven for care and nurture.

Mum has been a resident since Feb this year and found it very difficult to adjust being around other people all the time having lived alone for several years. The staff have patiently helped Mum to fit in and encourage her to join in activities. This week she was taken out for a steak meal and she really
enjoyed this treat. Today I saw a very happy mum, proud of her room which she has added extra bits to so that it feels like home.

I work for an outside care company who comes to take a resident out. I find Coppice Lodge very clean and nicely laid out for the residents. All the staff have been friendly and helpful. The decor is very pleasant and the gardens always look nice and inviting. I have recommended Coppice to a few people
I know. A good working atmosphere where the residents are well looked after.

My husband has spent 2 x 2 week stays at Coppice Lodge, Arnold for respite stay. They home is well managed and the staff have been wonderful. One day I sat whilst my husband had lunch and they spoke with me in turn and offered me lunch as I had not eaten as arrived straight from work. They are all considerate
and keep me informed. They never appear rushed and spend time with each resident, taking time to talk and show genuine interest in their residents.

From my first visit to Coppice Lodge, I knew this was the right choice for my mother, who has now been a resident for three months. It had a completely different atmosphere to other care homes I had visited, which were many. I was impressed by the homely atmosphere, cleanliness and the attentive commitment
of staff. I have not been disappointed. This is an extremely well run care home, excellent food, and an extensive events programme. Well done everyone, you all work so hard.

My mother has been a resident in Coppice Lodge for 4 years. When the new manager took over approximately 3 years ago the home has gone from strength to strength. I am confident that my mum is well looked after, safe and secure. It is a pleasant place to visit, always clean and well presented and the

My friend was resident at Coppice Lodge for over nine months and was treated with care, dignity and respect.
The home was fantastic, nothing too much trouble and beautifully kept. It did not seem like a home, more like a hotel with exceptional care and support mechanisms. I cannot thank them enough
and services were fantastic from top to bottom.

“I really enjoy organising the activities and entertainment for the residents and seeing how much they enjoy the experiences.”


Angela has worked with Ideal Carehomes as Front of House Manager since October 2015. She has a wealth of experience in the care sector, starting her journey as Night Care Assistant in 1994 and progressing to a Senior Night Care Assistant for a Lincolnshire-based company, where she gained her NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care. In 2004, Angela decided to broaden her skills in the domiciliary care industry and worked as Deputy Care Manager, where she gained her Registered Manager’s Award. She then became an NVQ Assessor and gained her A1 and V1 qualifications.


In her role at Coppice Lodge, Angela is a welcoming and familiar face to family and friends visiting the home. She likes nothing more than liaising with prospective residents and assisting them from initial enquiry to moving into their new home. Angela works closely with the Home Manager and Regional Activities Executive to arrange regular and exciting activities for the residents, including a ‘Social Saturday’ event which takes place each week in the brand new café area at home.
