Only having 2 outside visits I did find the staff very helpful and caring and am very pleased that we chose this care home to look after my wife. I have not had chance to view the rooms etc so cannot comment on some of the options.

Mum is very happy at Coppice Lodge. I speak to her weekly on FaceTime and she's always laughing and joking and generally looks so happy. I see photos regularly on Facebook and Mum is always keeping busy and looks like she's having great fun!

Coppice Lodge was recommended by a neighbour of my parents. I was distraught about Dad having to leave his home, but thanks to the wonderful staff he settled quickly and is now in his second home and very well cared for.

My mother was admitted after an accident and although her mental health has deteriorated over the past few months she has been fully supported and treated with dignity at all times. I have been kept informed of any changes throughout her stay. The whole family are so happy that Mum is happy and safe

Coppice Lodge has not only a place for my mum to live but a support for us.
I always felt as if I was going to mums home. I was free to make myself a cup of tea and make myself at home.

I cannot praise Coppice Lodge enough. The care and kindness of each and every member of staff is fantastic. The manager runs the home efficiently and doesn't miss a thing, but I can see all the staff are very fond of her. I was very concerned about sending my mother into a care home, but I cannot fault

During lockdown Coppice Lodge has looked after my mum with care and passion. With not seeing her they have let me know mum's condition.
The best has been having regular photos and information on Facebook seeing photos helps me to know mum is good. Also providing skype when we want has been the best
as we can talk and see each other. I miss mum a lot but Coppice has provided all the professional care she needs.

We have been visiting my mother for the past year and a half years. She is 93 and unable to walk, but she is enjoying watching the staff and their activities and pointing out what they are doing wrong. There is always a sense of good humour about the place, spirits seem to be always high and happy.

Looked at other care homes and found Coppice. Levels of care by staff are far superior to others. Staff interact with us as well as mum in a very friendly manner. There is a real homely feel and we are so pleased we found Coppice for mum. Care is second to none. The activities and outings programme
is very good and keeps guests active.

“I really enjoy organising the activities and entertainment for the residents and seeing how much they enjoy the experiences.”


Angela has worked with Ideal Carehomes as Front of House Manager since October 2015. She has a wealth of experience in the care sector, starting her journey as Night Care Assistant in 1994 and progressing to a Senior Night Care Assistant for a Lincolnshire-based company, where she gained her NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care. In 2004, Angela decided to broaden her skills in the domiciliary care industry and worked as Deputy Care Manager, where she gained her Registered Manager’s Award. She then became an NVQ Assessor and gained her A1 and V1 qualifications.


In her role at Coppice Lodge, Angela is a welcoming and familiar face to family and friends visiting the home. She likes nothing more than liaising with prospective residents and assisting them from initial enquiry to moving into their new home. Angela works closely with the Home Manager and Regional Activities Executive to arrange regular and exciting activities for the residents, including a ‘Social Saturday’ event which takes place each week in the brand new café area at home.
