Lovely staff and great communication.
My uncle is well looked after and the staff are very helpful.
He is well fed and there are activities to keep him occupied.
Thank you for taking the time to write us a review - they do mean a lot to us. We're glad your uncle is settled with us here at Jubilee Lodge. If there is anything more we can do for him or for your family, please just let us know.
18 months ago my sister-in-law was an independent, happy, active character. Then she had a fall causing a brain bleed and long hospitalisation. We were sad to realise she would have to give up her home and move into a nursing home. However Jubilee Lodge has been the perfect place and we are amazed at her improvement. The staff have been so kind and caring. Encouraging her to do things we thought she would never be able to do again. Living so far away we cannot visit often but see such a change in her each time. Last week she told us she considers herself lucky to be in the peace and quiet of Notgrove Ward amongst lovely people. We drove back home saying how lovely it is that she still feels loved and appreciated by those around her.
We really appreciate you taking the time to write us a review, thank you. I'm sure your sister-in-law's story will be really helpful to others in a similar situation looking for care for a loved one. I'm glad that she considers herself lucky to be with us at Jubilee Lodge - it's lovely to have her with us! Please do let us know if there is anything else we can do for her, or for you.
My mother is settled, content and happy.
She is very well looked after by the caring staff. Well done to all at Jubilee.
Thank you for taking the time to write us a review, we really appreciate it. I'm glad your mother is settled with us. If there is anything else she needs, do just let us know.
I am particularly grateful to the admin staff who are kind and helpful and quickly respond to my questions.
Thank you.
I'm so glad to hear that your stepmother is happy and settled with us at Jubilee Lodge. I'm also glad we're able to support you, if there is anything else we can do for either of you, please do just let us know. Thank you for taking the time to write us a review.
I cannot praise the staff at Jubilee Lodge highly enough. The care for my mum is excellent, she has a dedicated carer, who with the others goes above and beyond. I have sat with my mum on numerous occasions and watched all the residents in her unit (dementia) happy and smiling and always finishing their lunch. The activities are varied and engage the residents. They stand at the front door where you are greeted with a smile. I am also pleased I am kept informed of any changes.
Thank you for taking the time to write us a review, and for sharing your experiences of Jubilee Lodge. If there is anything else we can do for you or your mum, please just let us know.
Our uncle is now happy and settled at Jubilee Lodge. He feels he's come home having been in several hospitals and care homes. When we walked in the atmosphere of Jubilee Lodge is warm and friendly, and the staff smiling. Obviously happy in the work. Well done Jubilee.
I'm so glad your uncle is happy and settled with us at Jubilee Lodge. Thank you for sharing your experiences with us - it does make a difference.
My grandad is here for a period of response following a full. I visited him today, he is very happy and enjoying his time here. He said that the staff are all lovely and he is enjoying the food. My family are all very grateful for the car he's being given. Many thanks.
I'm glad to hear that your grandad is enjoying life at Jubilee Lodge. Thank you for your feedback and for taking the time to share your thoughts. Do let us know if there is anything else we can do for him.
On arrival at the care home, I’m always greeted with a polite and very friendly welcome and that ethic appears to run throughout the home with all of the other employees I’ve met. From my own perspective, the carers always seem to have time to spend with the residents and are always happy to chat when our own paths cross.
My friend seems to be thriving there and it’s always a pleasure to pop in to see her regularly. Her room and bathroom are always very clean and tidy, as are the other parts of the Home I have to walk through.
Overall, Jubilee Lodge seems to be a very happy, safe and caring environment for its residents and visitors.
What lovely feedback, thank you! And thank you for taking the time to share your views. I will make sure the team sees it as I know it's important to them.
Dad's room is lovely and it was so nice to be able to pick Mum and Dad's room.
First impressions are very good and Mum and Dad are very happy here. Thank you all for looking after them.
I'm delighted your parents are so happy with us, and we appreciate you taking the time to write us a review. If there is anything we can do for them or your family, please don't hesitate to ask.
The permanent staff are very caring and helpful. Agency staff are more casual. I am a resident and the food is mostly unimaginative. Not a great deal of protein. The staff are very hardworking but always very patient.
Thank you for taking the time to write us a review, and for sharing your experiences of Jubilee Lodge. I will pass on your feedback to the home manager as I know the team is always keen to see opportunities to improve the experience for our residents.
Happy, caring, well-organised home.
Thank you for your feedback and for taking the time to write us a review. I will pass it on to the team at Jubilee Lodge.
Excellent, happy and caring staff.
Thank you for sharing your experience of Jubilee Lodge, and for taking the time to write us a review. I will pass on your comments to the team there as they do appreciate the feedback.
I have stayed at Jubilee Care Home Lodge for a period of respite and I have enjoyed my stay at Jubilee Lodge because I feel that the staff are very supportive, I can go to them about any problems I may have and they will be there for me.
Thank you for your lovely comment. I am pleased to hear you are enjoying your stay at the home and feel supported by our team. I will pass this on to them - it really makes a difference hearing such lovely feedback.
Having had a lovely Christmas here she has unfortunately progressed to end of life care very quickly. every member of staff on her unit has looked after mum with love,m compassion and dignity. Their care is second to none.
Thank you very much for taking the time to write us a review at what must be a very difficult period for you and your family. I will pass on your feedback to our care team as I know they do appreciate it.
The care home has been struggling, but a very big turn around now as were have a new care manager. My partner has out on weight, he is clean and so much happier. The care has greatly improved and staff morale is high. Long may it continue
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience of Jubilee Lodge. I'm glad to hear your partner is thriving now, and I will pass on your feedback to the home team as they do love to hear it - it makes a big difference.
I visited Dad nearly every day and often noticed things were not right, but my observations were always taken seriously and acted upon as far as possible. Dad was not an easy person to care for but the staff always did their best, especially permanent carers. Most of the problems were caused by staff shortages and sometimes the agency staff were not "up to scratch". But overall I was very happy with the service and greeted with courtesy and willingness to accommodate my concerns.
Thank you for your feedback. I will pass on your comments to the team.
I have found all at Jubilee Lodge to be very kind. Friendly and caring. Very efficient, and always ready to help in any way they can. Very happy with this service.
Thank you for your feedback. I will pass on your comments to the team - it always makes such a difference hearing such kind words.
The level of care and compassion shown by the staff was exceptional, especially through these difficult last two years with Covid. Although management found it challenging to recruit and retain staff, the standard of care remained high throughout my wife's residency.
My wife stayed at Jubilee Lodge for two weeks whilst I received treatment. She was made very welcome by all staff in the Kemble Household. My wife lives with hearing loss and has difficulty understanding what is being said. All staff went out of their way to support my wife and make her feel comfortable. I can not thank them enough for what they did and the care they show towards all residents.
Mum has always been very independent, so deciding, at 91, she could no longer manage, was a big step. Her move to Jubilee has been seamless. The staff are kind and caring, and it's a big relief to both of us she is now safe. The chef has been wonderful, making sure she is getting the right foods to manage her bowel cancer.
