Mum has been in this care home since October, and we can already see a great change in her already. She is smiling, laughing, eating and sleeping better, thanks to the great care from all staff.

I have resided at St Fillans for almost one year. St Fillans, in my opinion, its home and especially the staff are excellent, and in my opinion, this is the best care home I have encountered, and I am very happy and settled here.

My mum has very recently moved into St Fillans as her care needs have increased due to worsening dementia. The staff have been amazing. Allowed me in the day before Mum's move to make her room personalised, so familiar when Mum arrived. Mum appears to have settled well and loves her new room and area.

An absolutely beautiful nursing home that was recommended to me by a friend. It has been newly redecorated and looks fantastic. Always clean and smells fresh. Lovely range of activities provided by the staff. I am always greeted with a smile and made to feel like part of the family. I thoroughly enjoy every visit.

My dad was a resident at St Fillans until his passing. From day one, he was looked after so well. His confusion at being in a care home was handled so well, and he settled in very well. The care staff on his unit were just amazing, and I will be forever thankful to them for giving my dad the care and love that he needed, especially in these difficult times.

A wonderful and caring home, can't rate the staff and care given highly enough. They treat all residents with dignity, engage with them and keep ourselves as relatives fully informed. I feel fully involved in my wife's care and know when I can't be with her, she is well looked after. Whilst my wife is now very poorly, she recognises St Fillans as her home and as an ex-nurse, herself, knows this is where she would want to be under the circumstances.

Could not ask more in a care home for the love, care and help in looking after my late father, who sadly passed away. Our family are forever grateful.

Mum moved to St Fillans after being in a few different care settings where she had been unhappy and not settled. She was resistant to staying in residential care, having worked in the sector for many years and actually on the site of St Fillans. We left her there with heavy hearts, but within hours, staff reported she was settled and happy, keeping them busy! Since then, we have been regularly updated with news and photos of Mum, and although we have been unable to visit, we are satisfied that the staff meet her needs in a way that she can still express her individuality and personality. Mum has a complex health profile needing a special diet, and she is profoundly deaf. Staff and other residents communicate effectively with Mum, and she is involved with activities that she was unable to access before. The staff on the unit go above and beyond to provide a homely experience for residents. I recommend St Fillans to anyone looking for specialist dementia care.

The staff are well trained, their communication is incredible, the meals that the residents get are superb and catered to their needs, the activities are based around what the residents wish to participate in, there's always more than one activity going on. Every room is fully equipped with its own bathroom for privacy and dignity. There's no I in team, the clients that require it get 1:1 support - 24 hours a day depending on there own individual requirements. This is one home that I've worked in and couldn't praise it enough. The environment and the units are always clean and you can see how hard the cleaners work to ensure that infection control is met.

St Fillans Care Homr is an amazing Care facility, they looked after my dad for 4 years and they brought out the very best in him, he was very well cared for, the staff are absolutely amazing and like “family” we honestly couldn’t have asked for better care, we had absolute peace of mind that dad was happy, treated with respect and loved. The activities that are arranged are extensively varied and targeted at the residents needs and ability, amazing.
I would and have recommended St Fillans to anyone looking for a true “home” from home for their loved one.
We as a family will be forever grateful to the amazing staff we have had the pleasure of knowing over the last 4 years.

Thank you St Fillans.

Fantastic caring staff and management Team. The food is excellent and rooms are kept spotlessly clean. St Fillans is a bright and modern purpose-built home with lovely gardens for Mum and the family to enjoy. Our Mum could not ask for more caring and compassionate staff who really understand her particular needs.

I would 110% recommend St Fillans to everyone. The home is very welcoming; the staff are very attentive and always available to help out. My nan is being very well cared for, and this means so much as we haven’t all been able to visit as much as we were used to. The photos I see of my nan on their Facebook page are amazing. She is always smiling, and I am so grateful for the excellent care she receives. Thank you to everyone, and I look forward to seeing my nan again very soon.

I visited my lovely friend this week as St Fillans, the first day of reopening. It was wonderful to see the welcome balloon arch on the main entrance, all staff greeting me and made a great effort to come and have a chat with me. Am so pleased to be able to visit again.

My beautiful mum was in St Fillans for over 3-years with dementia. The staff treated her as if she was a member of their own family, which was so important, especially through the pandemic when we could not go and visit.

Sadly Mum lost her battle early in March, but she passed with dignity and the respect of everyone she came into contact with.

I can't recommend St Fillans highly enough. It is tough enough if your loved one has to go into a care home, so you need to know that they will be cared for as if you were caring for them. St Fillans does that. Every resident is part of the St Fillans Family, and they are looked after so well.

My mum isn't with you anymore, but my family will always remember the kindness with which she was treated while she was with you. Thank you so much for looking after her.

My grandad is at St Fillans and we cannot be happier. As a family, we looked at several different homes, but this one stood out immediately. We were given an immediate sense of reassurance, and all the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We FaceTime weekly, and Grandad is always happy and says how much he likes it there. This gives us a great sense of relief. Would strongly recommend this care home!

I cannot praise the management and staff enough for their commitment and care towards my dad who was recently admitted to St Fillans in an emergency situation. He is engaging well in the activities programme that the care home provides, and it is truly wonderful too see pictures of him enjoying himself and smiling on their Facebook page. As a family, we are so glad that our loved one is well cared for. The visits are well planned in pleasant surroundings, and the management and staff should be praised for their friendliness and caring attitude towards both residents and families, as I know from previous experience visits have stopped altogether in some homes.

I am unable to visit my friend regularly, but when able I am greeted with happy smiley staff in reception. My friend is always very happy and says he loves it there and has nice friends, which is very comforting to hear. I recently visited St Fillans and I must say the home is looking fantastic, with lovely autumn displays in the reception area. Keep up the good work team
