Nice relaxed atmosphere in the lounge area. Food is excellent and plentiful. Well equipped room and ensuite but could be cleaner. Staff seem to know to the residents well and most are very caring.

Our neighbour has been in the home for about 3 months and we visit at least once a week so cannot give an 'all round' assessment of daily life.
However, we find the rooms clean and light, frequently decorated for special dates and bedrooms with excellent facilities.
I have been particularly impressed by the activities on the ground floor in the afternoons, quizzes, crosswords and artwork are offered and enjoyed by the residents, (carers, therapists and visitors too)

I am not able to tick all boxes with complete confidence as I am not there for long periods.

My aunty seems very happy when we visit and has stopped missing her home. Would love her to come out of her room but it's her choice to stay on her own.

After my mother went to a care home in a step down bed after a fall, I didn't like the home and moved my mam to Lime Tree Court after viewing it with my friends. I went to see 8 homes and liked Lime Tree Court the most. After my mam being here, I got to see how it was run and the staff I thought were wonderful and very professional whatever I asked they were able to answer without having to look things up. I don't know why all homes can't be like Lime Tree Court Residential Care Home.

Management very approachable and do take the time to listen, which to me is most important, you are not just "fobbed off". My moms care is extremely important to me and I find all Moms needs are met by the staff. She is treated with respect and her dignity is maintained if she requires any help staff are on hand to attend. I do think that more staff are needed to maintain the smooth running of my Moms floor. There have been shortages on occasions.

Most of the carers are helpful but when questions are asked about things they should know about, they don't have an answer. This is only a minority, though. An activity person is employed but spends a couple of hours on each floor. When they are on holiday or not working there is nothing in place. Maybe volunteers or an extra person could be employed. The food is lovely.

My mother has been living in Lime Tree Court for 20 months. She has been taken care of in a professional and caring manner. The whole team, be it management, carers, cleaners or kitchen staff. Everyone is friendly, considerate and treat the residents with respect and dignity. My mother always praises the staff and the way they treat her. She is very happy and contented living at Lime Tree Court.

I must admit that I only visit twice a week on floor 2 when most of the patients are in the lounge sitting or walking around. I think a little more time could be given to group stimulation. By sitting around a table with colouring books (children's preferably as adult colouring books are too difficult), or a simple type of small children's games ie putting blocks and wooden pictures into different shaped holes. Otherwise, I find the home to be clean with good food and caring staff.

Overall we are happy with the care. Most of the staff are friendly and helpful. My mother-in-law seems to be happy. We are concerned about the changing of staff as we understand this is not good for residents with dementia. They need continuity. The assistant manager is always very helpful if there are any issues.

Thank you for some lovely comments. We understand how close your mother-in-law was to a carer who recently moved abroad so we’ve ensured the team has been there to support her. We structure rotas so our residents regularly have their favourite staff on shift, however, it is important to...
