The team are passionate about discovering the life histories of their residents and what they love to do, so they can create bespoke, meaningful activities.
Every month the home runs a mental health café, where residents, their loved ones and the team chat over coffee and cake, sharing their thoughts and experiences.
The environment in the home is beautiful, the spacious bedrooms have ensuite walk-in wet rooms, there is a vintage themed café and a hairdressing salon, for weekly appointments with a mobile hairdresser. There is also a sensory room, for relaxing, soothing activities.
In the dining rooms, the residents enjoy delicious, home-cooked meals, from roast dinners with all the trimmings to fish and chip Fridays and freshly baked cakes for afternoon tea.
The beautiful, enclosed gardens feature raised planters, for residents who like to enjoy a spot of gardening and growing their own produce, a fishpond and wheelchair friendly pathways. They are a wonderful space to relax with loved ones, who are welcome at any time, and to enjoy special occasions like summer garden parties.
The local community are embraced into life in the home, with students who visit regularly to spend time with the residents. And nobody gets a welcome quite like the residents’ favourite dogs, Tilly and Lennie.
The team also organise trips out, from pub lunches and church visits to community bingo mornings and excursions further afield to the West Midland Safari Park, which they enjoyed this summer.

Our weekly fees are individual to each of our residents and are subject to a pre-admission assessment, which is required to understand the level of care and support needed. Our 2025 weekly care fees for residential care start from £1184 but may be in the region of 30% more*. This depends on your care needs and the type of bedroom that is right for you, from our standard rooms through to our premium bedroom options.

It would be good if the residents were allowed more outside space, I realise that would involve a lot of work by the carers but my mum would welcome being outdoors on sunny days. When visitors come it would be a good idea to move into the quiet room because the residents lounge gets overcrowded. It is their home not the visitors.

We have a lovely potting shed so that our residents can enjoy a spot of light gardening and try to hold as many events outside where we can, including summer garden parties.

My nan came into Limetree court 8 weeks ago and we can honestly say that the family are more than happy with the Care she receives. The day staff give my nan love and affection and fantastic care. She is not the easiest person to deal with but they ensure she is well looked after. They persevere with her and she is eating better now than she has ever done.
