West Farm Care Centre

Lots of care professionals are always in the home eg: nurses, and physios making sure the resident's health needs are looked after. All staff/management are approachable with any concerns you have and are addressed. Visiting is encouraged and they realise the importance of family involvement.

I have never had any worries while my father has been in the care of West Farm Care Centre. They always keep me well informed either personally or by phone. Highly recommended.

I am writing this review for my father-in-laws stay at West Farm Care Home. From the very moment my father-in-law entered the home, it was made clear you are family now and that included relatives. In my opinion, this home cannot be faulted. The staff go above and beyond, nothing is ever too much. My father-in-law was treated with the utmost respect and dignity in life and death.

My mother has been a resident of West Farm Care Home for the last 17 months and I am extremely happy with the care she has received from the staff.

The staff at this care home are superb. My mother is very happy to be a resident there. She enjoys the food and is very pleased with her room. All members of staff treat all the residents as if they were their own family. Many activities to entertain and keep minds active. Staff and management keep me informed of mothers progress, health and well being, and if there are any concerns. These lovely people put the 'care' into care home. Can't praise too highly. Second family member to use this care home.

The staff at West Farm Care Centre are always pleasant and very approachable.

It was a very hard and upsetting time for our family when my sister became unable to live independently because of her dementia and frailty. So it is so very important we know she is very well looked after. I visit her regularly and there is a good atmosphere with lots of good entertainment in her home.

A very caring home. The staff are out of this world. My mam has been here 1 1/2 years and loves it. She is well fed, safe and comfortable.

My experience of visiting my mother in this care home has been brilliant. The care the staff give to each resident is second to none (they are brilliant). I always receive a lovely welcome and it feels like home from home.

My and my sister have been impressed with the kindness and dedication of all the staff here. I would recommend West Farm Care Centre to anyone. The staff here are very good and professional to deal with.

Great home. Mam very well looked after and the staff are brilliant, they really care about mam. The food is fantastic a big variety.

I would recommend this home without hesitation.

My mother returned to the home after a spell in hospital after a stroke. She is 97 and her walking had been affected. Since returning to the home, she has been cared for so well and with help, she has become much more mobile. She is always encouraged by the staff, so it is lovely to see her independence returning. They have so much patience and my mum is very happy and content there again.

Their interaction with the residents is always kind and sincere.

Always feel welcome when visiting my mother. Staff are very informative about any concerns with regards to my mother. Home and our mother's room is always clean and tidy as well and out mother is always nicely turned out.

Nothing is a problem and staff are very approachable and prepared to go out of their way to help.

I have been here most days to visit my sister. The staff are all very friendly and not only with me. They are the same with the people who live here. Before my sister lived here, she was in another care home and she likes most of the meals she is served here. She has enjoyed colouring pictures ready for Christmas. She spends most of her time knitting or helping other people who are 'wandering'! She likes assisting people. My sister has me, her two sons and her granddaughters to visit her. They all have the same opinion as I have.

West Farm is a very friendly, family orientated, modern home. The staff are some of the best I've encountered and treat my mam like their own. The meals are lovely and homemade cakes are delicious (I've tried them!). The only markdown is the room for mam could be brighter, other than that I'd give 100%.
