Always feel welcome when visiting my mother. Staff are very informative about any concerns with regards to my mother. Home and our mother's room is always clean and tidy as well and out mother is always nicely turned out.


Nothing is a problem and staff are very approachable and prepared to go out

of their way to help.

I have been here most days to visit my sister. The staff are all very friendly and not only with me. They are the same with the people who live here. Before my sister lived here, she was in another care home and she likes most of the meals she is served here. She has enjoyed colouring pictures ready
for Christmas. She spends most of her time knitting or helping other people who are 'wandering'! She likes assisting people. My sister has me, her two sons and her granddaughters to visit her. They all have the same opinion as I have.

West Farm is a very friendly, family orientated, modern home. The staff are some of the best I've encountered and treat my mam like their own. The meals are lovely and homemade cakes are delicious (I've tried them!). The only markdown is the room for mam could be brighter, other than that I'd give 100%.

Mam loves being here. The only downfall is she no longer has a friend who she became very attached to. Although staff involve themselves with residents, it would be useful for Mam to sit with people she could converse with. I realise this is not always easy as people feel comfortable in their own space
but as mam doesn't walk unaided then this is difficult.

My mother has been a resident of West Farm Care Centre Longbenton for 4 weeks. I have found the staff to be very efficient and easy to talk to. It's a very happy atmosphere with everyone getting along very well. My mother has settled well and is enjoying all the activities. The food is great and the
rooms are kept beautifully clean.

After a short stay in hospital, our mum needed 24/7 care and we viewed lots of care homes and knew from our first visit that we would like our mum to go there due to their open and transparent policies on care and pricing.
It is a lovely home, very clean and the meals are nutritious and well presented.
Staff
are fantastic and have a genuine care for residents and are so friendly and helpful in sometimes extremely difficult circumstances.
Residents are treated at all times with dignity and compassion.
There are plenty of activities and entertainment for those who wish to participate.
Cannot praise West Farm Care Centre highly enough and have no hesitation in recommending.

This is an absolutely superb care facility. Our mother had to go into care some months ago and West Farm Care Centre was the best centre we looked at. The staff were welcoming and supportive to our frightened mother.


The staff say that this is the home of the residents, in which they work - and

they evidence that philosophy every day. In the last months of our mother's long life, we took comfort form the fact that she was safe and secure, being well-fed and looked after.


When she was close to the end we gathered from across the country; nothing was too much trouble for the staff, even though there were several of us there day and night for four days. They provided us with a room in which to sleep and fed us superbly day and night.


In my mother's final days she was confused and not sure where she was - we reminded her constantly that she was in West Farm. It is now standing joke that when any we kids need care, we want to go to West Farm. They were brilliant.
