Very good care home. My aunt is very well looked after despite her cantankerous behaviour at times. There are always activities going on and the residents are encouraged to join in and photos are sent at regular intervals.
Excellent.
Most importantly the staff were warm and caring and dad felt valued.
The home is clean and fresh and the staff are friendly and welcoming.
We are well looked after and cared for. The staff are extremely good.
The staff are wonderful, friendly and very happy to facilitate contact with loved ones.
Covid restrictions have been extremely well adhered to to keep residents and staff safe.
I am so glad there was space for her when her dementia worsened and it was no longer safe for her to live alone.
Thank you all at Bartley Green Lodge.
Bartley Green Lodge is a wonderful place and we couldn’t be happier with the care given to my father-in-law. The staff there are just brilliant, and the care and respect they show for their residents is really lovely to see and extremely reassuring for us as a family. We are massively grateful for all the love and hard work the staff put in.
I cannot praise the level of care and support my family and I have received from Bartley Green Lodge during the past 4 weeks highly enough. Taking the tough decision to look for respite care for my father during Covid has been incredibly difficult but from the initial virtual ‘tour’ and meeting, the level of care and compassion we have received as a family has made our journey easier. It is clear to see the passion team members have for the residents and I can honestly say that everyone I have met has had a smile and their face. It definitely feels like a fun place to be and this is reflected in the activities available to the residents. My father has settled in well and looks much healthier and content than he did prior to moving in. We feel he is receiving the best possible care and we are truly thankful we found Bartley Green Lodge. Thank you to all the team.
My Dad has been at Bartley Green Lodge for 5 months now and there is such a change in him. He's put on weight, he seems more content, he has amazing physical, emotional and medical support. During the recent restrictions its been such a comfort to the family to know he is well cared for and safe.
Thank You to the whole team.
During lockdown I volunteered to knit teddies and bunnies for all the residents, which the staff accepted. I would like to thank everyone for all their hard work and the love and kindness that they show to each and every resident. Photos showed that everyone received a teddy/ bunny. The devotion and application every staff member puts into making the residents feel safe and loved goes above and beyond. I feel very proud to be able to be a very small part in putting a smile on all their lovely faces. You are all amazing. A thank you just doesn't seem enough.
Hopefully when Covid eases Dad will be able to carry out more activities but the team have done so well during difficult times organising activities and keeping Dad busy to help his condition.
Thank you all.
The staff at Bartley Green Lodge worked very hard to provide enjoyable Christmas and New Year activities for residents and their families. With my husband, I enjoyed singing carols outside the home (while remaining socially distanced from others!). We are grateful for the excellent care that Mum receives at Bartley Green Lodge and for helping us to keep in touch with her during this period of lockdown.
Thank you for such lovely feedback about our home and team - it really is appreciated. Best wishes, Fae
They have done so much to support Dad and us through this difficult time.
They keep Dad as active as they can with fun and innovative ideas to keep him moving and engaging with the staff and other residents.
They hold his hand and give him the hugs he needs while we can’t but help us keep touch with Dad through socially distant visits and social media. Dad can’t verbalise his feelings or emotions but his affection for the Carers that look after him is evident and his smile speaks a thousand words, we can’t thank Bartley Green Lodge enough for the reassurance this gives us.
We can’t fault their care and attention they give all their residents, they truly are amazing and we would recommend them to anyone looking for a safe, happy, professional care home to entrust their loved ones too.
Bartley Green Lodge is it just a care home it’s a family.
Best wishes, Fae
The staff are truly caring, always patient, cheerful and courteous. They are well-organised and keep us informed. The activities organiser works imaginatively and enthusiastically to provide different types of activities to encourage residents to keep fit and engaged while allowing quiet times and respecting personal choices. The home is clean and comfortable. The meals are varied and well prepared.
Best wishes, Fae
My mother has been in the care of Bartley Green Lodge since January. She has been given the utmost care, the staff are wonderful meeting all her needs. It’s been a difficult time for staff and residents during Covid restrictions but the staff have given 100% to make sure residents are happy and relatives kept up to date with news, pictures and videos. In the words of my Mom, the staff are golden. It’s not easy times at the moment but our thanks go to you all at Bartley Green Lodge, you are a great team managed brilliantly by the manager. Thank you.
Thank you for such a wonderful review - we truly do appreciate your time and your kind words. Best wishes, Fae.
Bartley Green Lodge is a wonderful place with very special staff. There is a lovely calm atmosphere and the staff go out of their way to make the residents feel special and well cared for. Over the past few months, the staff have come up with inventive ways to keep the residents in contact with their families and lovely creative activities. My nan is enjoying the company of others and has never looked so well. It is so reassuring to know that she is in very safe hands, even if we can't meet her face to face at the moment. Thank you all for your amazing hard work and dedication.
Thank you for such kind words about our home. Your feedback is truly invaluable to our team and we really do appreciate it. Best wishes, Fae.
Exceptional care is given to all the residents by the super staff at Bartley Green Lodge. I am kept informed of my mother's health and well being. All the staff are easy to talk to and the ongoing dialogue is excellent.
We really appreciate your review, thank you so much for taking the time. Best wishes, Fae.
Whilst caring for my mum during lockdown, she went downhill fast. With a full-time job (one of the lucky ones who kept their job) I could not give my mum the constant care and stimulation she needed more of. Both our health suffered and Mum no longer recognised me as her daughter. Within 2 weeks of being at Bartley Green Lodge, Mum not only looked well again, but she also recognised me and was smiling. We couldn’t believe it. My brother sorted it all out with the care home's help and they were brilliant. Since then, we cannot fault their care. Their attention to Mum as an individual is amazing. They have taken time to find out who Mum is, what she did and liked, to focus on what will help her now to enjoy herself. The enthusiasm and genuine care from them all, especially the event coordinator is amazing. The staff also help us and our needs, whatever time of the day and night. We just had a virtual birthday party for Mum and everyone made the day special, especially the events coordinator.
Thank you so much for taking the time to review our home and for your lovely words. It can be so difficult caring for a loved one, so it is wonderful to hear how much our care helped both you and Mum - being able to be a daughter once again, and not just a carer. Our team will really appreciate your kind words. Best wishes, Fae.
Bartley Green Lodge is well run with care quality that goes above and beyond expectations. My mother has been a resident there for 4 years and is very happy there. All the staff are friendly and helpful. Nothing is ever too much trouble. The carers and staff all actively contribute to daily life for the residents.
Thank you for such kind words and for taking the time to review our home - our team will really appreciate it. Best wishes, Fae.
We cannot fault Bartley Green Lodge - the leadership at the home and the care and respect that the staff give to Mom and all other residents is excellent. Lockdown has been very difficult for relatives, residents and staff, but we are updated regularly with what’s happening in the home whilst we are unable to visit. It is lovely to see photos and videos of the residents taking part in the various activities that are on offer. We are also able to FaceTime our loved ones. We would have no hesitation at all in recommending Bartley Green Lodge to anyone who may need the care that is provided there.
Thank you for taking the time to review our home and for your such kind words; they are so appreciated by our team. Best wishes, Fae.

Meet the Team (3)

I love working here, our staff team and residents are so happy and uplifting, it’s a joy to be around them. I love being able to support our residents in terms of their individual needs and to empower our team to continue to enrich our residents' lives.

I love working here because we are all here for the right reason – it’s not just a job we truly care for the residents and it’s such a special place. It's like a second home here and I feel happy to come to work in the morning. I know the residents have a lot of faith in me and as soon as you walk onto the floor in the morning they smile.

As long as I know our residents are happy, I am happy. It’s such an achievement to know we are supporting our residents to have such a good quality of life here.
I love my job – this is home to me and the residents mean everything. You get to know their personalities and their little quirks – the banter and laughs you have with them are so lovely. I love this home.
