Mom has been at Bartley Green Lodge for the last 18 months and has been more than well looked after. It has been particularly difficult during the current covid crisis for the residents and staff. However, the staff have gone above and beyond their duty of care. They have remained upbeat and continue to do so ensuring the residents are well looked after and entertained throughout. They have ensured that families have been able to stay in touch with their loved ones through the use of the Ipad and telephone conversations. The staff are always friendly and the residents their priority.
What a wonderful review - thank you so much for taking the time to write it. Best wishes, Fae.
The support from the manager and her team was excellent in providing high-quality care and support for my Dad during his stay. She was extremely helpful in ensuring that my Dad could make the transition from hospital to Bartley Green Lodge at short notice. The quality of care and feedback to me with daily updates was first class in terms of how my Dad was. My Dad was delighted with the quality of the food and support he received. The team gave myself and family confidence that our Dad was receiving the best support and care.
Thank you for such a wonderful review of our home. Best wishes, Fae
I have been volunteering here for a while and enjoyed every minute of it. There is a lovely friendly and warm atmosphere which made me feel welcome from the start. All the staff are lovely and work exceptionally hard with the residents. There are always different activities going on from painting to singing with the nursery children who come in. An absolutely fabulous place!
Thank you for such a lovely review - it's wonderful to hear how much you like it with us at Bartley Green Lodge and we do hope you continue to volunteer with us for years to come! Best wishes.
Great team of staff, very friendly and patient. Always helped out if I had questions and assisted me whenever needed. The service users also mentioned how kind the carers are. The food served is also good.
Thank you for such a wonderful review of our home. Best wishes.
I feel my mum is in a safe and caring environment.
I highly recommend B G Lodge.
Thank you for such a lovely review of our home and team. It's wonderful to hear that you're staying up to date with mum and that you are confident in the care we provide. Best wishes.
Grandad has been at Bartley Green Lodge from March 2019 and since being a resident, he has been in great hands. The staff are so kind and caring. During the Covid-19 lockdown, Grandad celebrated his 90th birthday, the staff went above and beyond to ensure he had a great day and celebrated in style. We can't thank the staff enough for organising it and the care they have given in our absence during this pandemic. It was great to be able to visit today and see Grandad at a safe two-meter distance, he looked so well and happy. Thanks to the manager for organising it and a big thank you to all your staff for being so caring.
Thank you for taking the time to review our home and for your kind words about our team. They will really appreciate it. Best wishes, Fae.
Thank you, Bartley Green Lodge, for the amazing work you have done and continue to do for our nanna. During this challenging situation, you have kept us up to date fully with the adventures of our nanna and the residents. Your caring attitude makes you the best of the best. Thank you.
Thank you for such kind words and for taking the time to review our home. Leanne and the team will really appreciate it. Best wishes, Fae
Our mom went into Bartley Green Lodge in October 2019. We left her worried and concerned we had done the right thing. Well we did, Mom has settled so well. Mom is very happy and contented. The staff are absolutely brilliant, nothing is to much trouble. They continue to encourage Mom's independence and encourage her to take part in daily activities. During this Covid-19 it has been really hard not to be able to visit as we would, but staff have done everything they can to enable communication one way or another. Wonderful team and Mom is very happy there. Thank you Bartley Green Lodge.
Caring for a relative is always a concern, but through this difficult period I would like to thank the amazing staff for their continued outstanding care for my dad and their support for our family. We have been encouraged to phone and Facetime him regularly in the absence of face to face visits, even though the day to day routines for staff are as busy as ever. The staff have enabled him to communicate with us using an iPad and they have provided fun, engaging and relaxing activities throughout which we get to see as videos and photographs to share with the wider family, this has helped us enormously. He tells us regularly that he is very happy and relaxed and this means everything to us. Thank you to the Bartley Green Lodge family for making this difficult period as normal as possible for us all.
Thank you so much for your wonderful review of our home and team - they will really appreciate it, especially during this time. Best wishes, Fae.
The staff at Bartley Green Lodge are so kind and caring, always showing 100% dedication and commitment to looking after all the residents. In March, the home went into lockdown and the staff have worked hard to keep relatives updated about their loved ones. Throughout these very difficult months, Bartley Green Lodge staff have been exceptional. Thank you.
Thank you for taking the time to review our home Yvonne and for such kind words. Leanne and the team will really appreciate it. Best wishes, Fae.
Mom has been at Bartley Green for three years now. The staff have always been kind, caring and supportive. Their dedication and kindness shine through every time we visit and especially so in these unprecedented times we find ourselves in. I have been kept up to date and the staff have been keeping Mom and all the residents positive and as engaged as they can.
Thank you so much for your kind words about our home and team. Your review truly is invaluable to our team and the care we provide. Best wishes, Fae.
A fabulous team that have gone above and beyond to care for my mother during Covid-19. They have done everything possible to keep them active, comfortable and happy. The personal care has continued using every possible safe distancing but as we can all appreciate, must be so difficult. This is not only difficult for me as a daughter but for the staff as mothers/fathers daughters/sons grandmothers/ fathers. They all need a medal. Well done everyone, we are so grateful for all you have done and are still doing. Keep up the fabulous work!
Thank you for such kind words about our team and home. I can't tell you how much the staff will appreciate it. Best wishes, Fae.
I feel extremely lucky that Mom was accepted into to this home. Residential care varies hugely and I genuinely feel blessed to have found a home of this quality. They have been exceptional during the Covid-19 major crisis phase, keeping residents and staff as safe as possible. Exceptional all round! Special acknowledgement to the manager's leadership and the teams dedication to the care of older people.
Thank you for such a heart-warming review of our home. Best wishes, Fae.
My mother passed away on 27th May and had a wonderful 8 months in the home. The staff brought her back to her old self and she volunteered to go on any event or activity. They couldn't get her to sing any better but oh they were so brilliant during the lockdown. I cannot speak highly enough of them, particularly of the staff on the tulip ward. When we couldn't visit, we still had videos to enjoy and keep for our memories.
Dear Neil, firstly we are very sorry to hear of the passing of your mother but we are glad to hear that her time with us was happy and fulfilling. Thank you for such kind words about our team and home, they will really appreciate them. Best wishes, Fae.
My mother has been in Bartley Green Lodge since October 2019 and what a difference being there has made to Mom. Every member of staff is brilliant and since Covid 19, the staff have being absolutely amazing looking after all our loved ones. I'd like to give a massive big thank you.
Thank you for taking the time to review our home Diane, it's wonderful to hear how well mum is doing with us. The team will be really pleased to hear your kind words, especially at this time. Best wishes, Fae.
As Covid 19 lockdown approached, we had to make the difficult decision to put Nan into a home as she was unable to look after herself and her dementia had deteriorated. From the moment we arrived Nan was welcomed and settled down as we couldn’t go in with her. We have regular updates and everyone goes over and beyond to help. Nan has managed to put on weight and from the pictures really looks like she is enjoying the company and interacting with others. I couldn’t recommend Bartley Green Lodge enough to anyone taking that difficult step in choosing a care home for a loved one.
Thank you so much for your lovely review about our team and home. It is wonderful to hear how well your nan is doing with us - the team will be delighted to hear such good feedback. Best wishes, Fae.
During this awful pandemic, our mum has struggled with not being able to get close to us, but all the staff have encouraged phone calls and video chats. We were also allowed to stand at the wall overlooking the garden so she could see us from a distance. Within the home, activities have been amazing, keeping spirits up with all residents. Everyone working during this time is brilliant, sending photos and videos to family members and this always puts a smile on our faces. Well done Bartley Green Lodge.
Thank you for your kind words Pauline. We understand how difficult this time can be for both our residents and their loved ones, so it is wonderful to hear how well you've been able to stay in touch and that spirits have been kept high. Best wishes, Fae.
My mum has been under the care of Bartley Green Lodge for almost 7 years and throughout they have cared in a very compassionate way, ensuring her emerging care needs are met as the illness has progressed. The management and staff genuinely care for the resident's health, well being and emotional needs and work hard to maintain a calm peaceful and interactive atmosphere. The weekly visit from the hairdresser is always welcome as is the variety of entertainment and activities. It’s very warm and welcoming and the choice of food is nutritious and plentiful too.
Best wishes, Fae

Best wishes, Fae
My dad is very happy here. The staff are wonderful and the care is second to none. Would highly recommend.

I love working here, our staff team and residents are so happy and uplifting, it’s a joy to be around them. I love being able to support our residents in terms of their individual needs and to empower our team to continue to enrich our residents' lives.

I love working here because we are all here for the right reason – it’s not just a job we truly care for the residents and it’s such a special place. It's like a second home here and I feel happy to come to work in the morning. I know the residents have a lot of faith in me and as soon as you walk onto the floor in the morning they smile.

As long as I know our residents are happy, I am happy. It’s such an achievement to know we are supporting our residents to have such a good quality of life here.
I love my job – this is home to me and the residents mean everything. You get to know their personalities and their little quirks – the banter and laughs you have with them are so lovely. I love this home.
