The customer service manager and her team supported my mum and I to celebrate her granddaughter's wedding via video link. They decorated the main lounge and made available cakes and beverages to create a fun and festive atmosphere for Mum and the other residents, who all sat around the TV watching the ceremony. So very heartwarming to hear the others talk and reflect about their own wedding experiences from years bygone. The staff are a credit to the service and it's reflected in their commitment, sensitivity and compassion. Thank you for making it such a memorable day for all.
What an amazing afternoon for us all! Thank you so much for the privilege to share this with us at Pemberley. Such a magical time for your mother, who enjoyed the live streaming so much. Your mother and family are such a joy to have at Pemberley. Thank you for your kind words.
We have been very pleased with the care provided by Pemberley House Care Home since my father-in-law took up residence in June 2022. The staff and carers are all very polite, helpful and caring. There is a very good, happy atmosphere in the home with many activities arranged for the residents taking into account their various care needs. My father-in-law enjoys the food which has really improved over the last six months, having taken on a new chef. There are regular resident meetings where residents can raise any concerns or make requests. Also regular relatives meetings. Any health issues have been dealt with in a timely manner and the carers check on my father-in-law every hour throughout the day and night. Everyone, from the care home manager, customer service manager, reception staff, carers, to housekeeping and maintenance, are all very welcoming, polite and cheerful. They all do an amazing job.
Thank you so much for your review of Pemberley House. We really do pride ourselves in having a friendly atmosphere. Your Father-in-Law is our resident ambassador and does fantastic work in the home, welcoming new residents and being a "voice" for residents at meetings. He has recently participated...
My father has been a resident at Pemberley for the past 5 years. The level of care and support he receives from all the staff is just wonderful. The management team are very approachable and are always willing to listen to feedback and quickly resolve any issues that may arise.
We are so proud of the care and support we provide to residents and their families. Your father has been with us a long time and we have loved caring for him during that time. Thank you for taking the time to write us this review and showing what a caring and approachable home Pemberley is.
Fantastic home, full of fantastic carers and nurses. Dad is well looked after, thank you. All the staff are very helpful and kind at Pemberley House.
We are so happy you are pleased with our fantastic home. Pemberley is a welcoming, friendly place and it's a privilege to care for your father. Our nurses, carers and all the other staff take such pride in making Pemberley a great home for our residents.
After a lot of discussions, we decided that we have to have more care for Nan/Mum. She has mixed dementia and requires assistance with self-care. It has been a really rocky road, but the whole team have been incredible. They are incredibly supportive of us, as a family, with a shoulder to cry on or an ear to listen to. You can see how much the whole team really care for Nan/Mum, and how much they want to provide a gold standard of care for all the residents. Nothing is too much for them, and we are very grateful for all their support.
Thank you so much for your amazing review of our beautiful home. Genuinely, we pride ourselves on the caring atmosphere of Pemberley. So many of us have been here for 8 years and more and our teamwork is fantastic. I will pass your kind words on to the team. We are so happy to care for her.
Communication sometimes is not as good as it could be which can result in issues arising.
Thank you for your review of Pemberley House. We are proud to be caring, supportive, honest, respectful and accountable and we have taken your individual concerns regarding communication on board. We are so happy to care for your mother in our beautiful home.
A lovely care home with a comfortable homely feel. The staff and management are very accommodating. Nothing too much trouble.
Thank you so much for your lovely review. We pride ourselves on providing a homely ambience at Pemberley. We are blessed with a dedicated team that is friendly, knowledgeable, caring and approachable at all times. I will pass your kind words on to the team. What a privilege for us, to care for your husband.
My dad moved into Pemberley House early December 2023, the staff have been amazing, professional and so caring. They have helped and supported me through my dad's move into the home. They go the extra mile. The staff are always so friendly and happy to help. They always find the time to listen to you. My dad is the happiest he has been in a long time and is always saying the staff are great and he is happy that he is at Pemberley.
Thank you for your lovely review of Pemberley and the staff. I will pass your kind words on to the care staff. We do pride ourselves on a friendly and welcoming environment to all residents, relatives and friends.
Uncle was enjoying the food and introduced me to some of the carers and residents. He says he's happy to be at Pemberley. Next time I visit, I'm going to bring my dog, as my uncle always enjoyed seeing him. Dogs are allowed to visit!
Thank you for your amazing review of the care and services your uncle is enjoying at Pemberley House. As a dedicated care team, we take pride in providing the best care for all our residents. And yes, your dog is more than welcome to visit us at Pemberley!
My dad has been in his new home at Pemberley for a month. I can't thank everyone enough. I have now got my life back & can be a daughter to my dad, again as well as my dad getting his life back, too. I feel Dad is being loved & looked after by an incredibly, kind & professional team. As soon as my dad arrived everyone made Dad so welcome. Dad's room is spacious, beautifully decorated, cosy & everything my dad wants, which isn't much to be fair, but what my dad does want is important to him & the team fully understood, respected & accommodated these needs, immediately. Dad now gets up every day, is clean, happy & has all of the lovely food he wants as well as is cosy in his lovely big chair, in his room, whilst watching his TV. Haven't seen Dad look this well in years! Sadly, Dad is no longer one for being overly sociable, however, the team will always ask Dad whether he would like to take part in all the great activities/events that are always available. Thanks for all you do.
It is important to us that our residents and relatives have a positive moving-in experience at Pemberley. Thank you, again.
My parents-in-law were admitted to Pemberley House Care Home in March 2023. The management and staff at Pemberley could not have been more attentive and welcoming, even to the point of travelling to our home 100 miles away to interview and assess my parent's-in-law. Their treatment and care since admission have been exemplary and exceptional, with all possible steps being taken both in respect of their pastoral needs and their separate medical requirements. The accommodation, facilities and food are all of very high standards, and they have been treated with kindness, care, dignity and professional expertise by all the team at Pemberley. My wife and I are delighted, highly impressed and very grateful.
Thank you for your lovely 5-star review of Pemberley. We are so happy that you were pleased with the move-in process and endeavoured to make it as easy as possible for people. Thank you again, and I will pass on your kind words to the team.
My gran has recently moved in and the transition process was super smooth and the staff have been amazing. The Manager is so kind and helpful Gran felt at ease and the Customer Service Manager has been amazingly helpful with all the admin and arrangement of moving. The carers are some of the kindest I've ever met, it truly is a lovely place. Very happy we chose this for granma.
Thank you so much for your lovely 5-star review. We strive to ensure the whole move-in process is as smooth as possible for all residents and relatives. At Pemberley, we pride ourselves on excellent communication, transparency and amazing care. I will pass your kind words on to the team.
The lady I see is a hairdressing client of mine who has just moved in she loves it.
Thank you for your lovely review of Pemberley, the staff and the care we provide. We are so happy to hear how well our new residents quickly settle into their new home. I will pass your kind words onto the team.
My dad is very happy and content.
Thank you so much for your review. We are very happy that you are pleased with your father's care and the facilities at Pemberley House.
The only slight problem has been with agency carers, overall the care has been good with all the staff being kind, caring and helpful.
Although, like most homes it is expensive, I would recommend it to people.
Thank you for leaving us a review. It is great to hear that our staff are Kind, caring and helpful, and that you would recommend Pemberley House to others.
Food could be a little better apparently but nothing will replace a home-cooked meal!
Thank you team Pemberley for all that you do.
Thank you for your lovely feedback. We have identified the shortfall in cleanliness and food and drink sections and I can reassure you that we are doing our best to improve your loved one experience.
I was extremely disappointed that there was no activities or celebration for East in the home this weekend. I know that one of the wellbeing staff resigned and the other was on sick leave, however, I do believe, as a number of the other resident's relatives that the management should have stepped up and arranged something. The carers and nurses that were on this weekend are marvellous, but they can only do so much with such short resources. I do hope this will change and the King's coronation will be recognised as it should be.
Thank you for taking the time to review Pemberley House Care Home. Your comments have been noted regarding the activities and I would like to confirm that this is currently being addressed and activities in the home will be increased. If you have any further concerns or anything you would like to discuss, please do not hesitate to contact the home manager.
Before and during each stay, I found the staff to be both professional and efficient. Their warmth towards her let us enjoy our holiday, knowing that she was safe and well.
She did not want to be there, so their patience with her was very much appreciated.
Special thanks to the lady who coordinated the stay - she feels more like a friend to call on in need rather than just a staff member.
Thank you for taking the time to review Pemberley House Care Home in Basingstoke. We are delighted to hear how happy you are with the care your mother-in-law received on her recent respite stay with us, giving you and your family the peace of mind you deserve. Your feedback is truly invaluable to us and our staff team. I will be sure to pass on your kind words. Best wishes.
My mother went into Pemberley House Care Home five months ago and we are pleased with the care and facilities. As homes go, I would recommend it to friends and family. The food is nice and varied. Nowhere is perfect as it's not your own home. The staff and all the carers, cleaners and nurses are all very dedicated and caring. The front desk and office staff are all excellent! So far so good!

We are delighted to hear how happy you are with the care your mother has received from our dedicated staff team since being a part of our loving care community. It is also lovely to hear that the choice of tasty meals...
After suffering a fall in April 2022, which related to my father breaking his hip, it was decided that it would be in his best interest for him to go into a care home. This was an especially hard decision as my father lived in an annexe with us, and I was his main carer. However, all the staff at Pemberley House made this process as easy as possible for me. They welcomed Dad with open arms, and he has settled in very well. His dementia is progressing fast, but I know he is safe, extremely well fed and, above all, happy the majority of the time. Thank you, Pemberley!
