My dad moved into Pemberley House early December 2023, the staff have been amazing, professional and so caring. They have helped and supported me through my dad's move into the home. They go the extra mile. The staff are always so friendly and happy to help. They always find the time to listen to you.
My dad is the happiest he has been in a long time and is always saying the staff are great and he is happy that he is at Pemberley.

I was totally blown away by the serenity and friendliness of Pemberley House. It was inviting and gave you an aura of being in a safe and secure place. Each door opened led you to an “Aladdin’s Cave” filled with happiness oozing from all those who lived and worked there. This was where I wanted my 93-year-old
mother to end her circle of life. Indeed I would want to make my reservation now to confirm my place here for when I need it. Mum has been so settled here despite being a challenge to those who have been caring for her. The team caring for her have delivered her care with patience and professionalism worthy of recognition. The mantra to acknowledge each resident as an individual has clearly demonstrated the core values of what is Pemberley House. I am a practising registered nurse myself and I am coming up to my 49th year on the Register. I salute the services you are delivering to those who are vulnerable and totally dependent on you. Respect.

Having visited my uncle recently at Pemberley, I am so pleased he now lives there. I was greeted warmly, at reception and shown to my uncle's room. The room was spacious, clean and bright and he had decorated it with pictures, ornaments and small pieces of furniture. He also had taken many of his books
in with him in his own bookcase. The room had a fabulous en-suite wet room too.
Uncle was enjoying the food and introduced me to some of the carers and residents. He says he's happy to be at Pemberley. Next time I visit, I'm going to bring my dog, as my uncle always enjoyed seeing him. Dogs are allowed to visit!

My dad has been in his new home at Pemberley for a month. I can't thank everyone enough. I have now got my life back & can be a daughter to my dad, again as well as my dad getting his life back, too. I feel Dad is being loved & looked after by an incredibly, kind & professional team. As soon as my dad
arrived everyone made Dad so welcome. Dad's room is spacious, beautifully decorated, cosy & everything my dad wants, which isn't much to be fair, but what my dad does want is important to him & the team fully understood, respected & accommodated these needs, immediately. Dad now gets up every day, is clean, happy & has all of the lovely food he wants as well as is cosy in his lovely big chair, in his room, whilst watching his TV. Haven't seen Dad look this well in years! Sadly, Dad is no longer one for being overly sociable, however, the team will always ask Dad whether he would like to take part in all the great activities/events that are always available. My parents-in-law were admitted to Pemberley House Care Home in March 2023. The management and staff at Pemberley could not have been more attentive and welcoming, even to the point of travelling to our home 100 miles away to interview and assess my parent's-in-law. Their treatment and care since admission
have been exemplary and exceptional, with all possible steps being taken both in respect of their pastoral needs and their separate medical requirements. The accommodation, facilities and food are all of very high standards, and they have been treated with kindness, care, dignity and professional expertise by all the team at Pemberley. My wife and I are delighted, highly impressed and very grateful.

I have been visiting Pemberley House for a number of years.
The only slight problem has been with agency carers, overall the care has been good with all the staff being kind, caring and helpful.
Although, like most homes it is expensive, I would recommend it to people.

Mummy was rushed into Pemberley House in December and has been cared for and treated with respect. The team on Poolside have gone above and beyond. My mother feels safe and cared for and enjoys her little potters along the corridor, which may sound restrictive but to her, it's brilliant as she is independent
and not stuck in her room.
Food could be a little better apparently but nothing will replace a home-cooked meal!

I was extremely disappointed that there was no activities or celebration for East in the home this weekend. I know that one of the wellbeing staff resigned and the other was on sick leave, however, I do believe, as a number of the other resident's relatives that the management should have stepped up
and arranged something. The carers and nurses that were on this weekend are marvellous, but they can only do so much with such short resources. I do hope this will change and the King's coronation will be recognised as it should be.

My mother-in-law just returned after a fortnight's respite care whilst we were away on holiday. This is her second stay at Pemberley House.
Before and during each stay, I found the staff to be both professional and efficient. Their warmth towards her let us enjoy our holiday, knowing that she was safe
and well.
She did not want to be there, so their patience with her was very much appreciated.
Special thanks to the lady who coordinated the stay - she feels more like a friend to call on in need rather than just a staff member.

My mother went into Pemberley House Care Home five months ago and we are pleased with the care and facilities. As homes go, I would recommend it to friends and family. The food is nice and varied. After suffering a fall in April 2022, which related to my father breaking his hip, it was decided that it would be in his best interest for him to go into a care home. This was an especially hard decision as my father lived in an annexe with us, and I was his main carer. However, all the staff at Pemberley
House made this process as easy as possible for me. They welcomed Dad with open arms, and he has settled in very well. His dementia is progressing fast, but I know he is safe, extremely well fed and, above all, happy the majority of the time. Thank you, Pemberley!

The staff that work at Pemberley are hardworking, kind and considerate. Reception staff and office staff always greet visitors with a smile and always have time for a chat - always so welcoming. The resident's rooms are large, bright and airy, unlike most homes I have visited.

My father-in-law moved into Pemberley in August 2021. It was sad that he could no longer continue living in his own home, but the past few months have proved that it was the best thing for him. The care he has received is second to none. Everyone is so kind and he quickly became part of the Pemberley
family. The rooms are clean, bright and cheerful and it's lovely to see him surrounded by all the things he loves and treasures. His care needs have increased these last few months, and it is such a comfort that despite this he doesn't have to move to a different home. Despite his increased needs he is still encouraged to participate in all the activities and at all times is treated with dignity and gentleness.

My mum has a lovely room with a patio. The staff are so caring and treat her with respect and dignity, nothing is too much trouble for them. The management are friendly and very helpful. The food is very good and always nicely presented. The building is well maintained and always clean. The standard
of care is excellent. As a family, we are grateful to all the staff for looking after our loved one.

My mother, who unfortunately has severe dementia and is confined to bed now, has had wonderful care. Everyone at the home is very kind and empathetic - this includes management, reception/admin and of course the nurses and carers on mum's unit.
It has been distressing to see mum’s marked irreversible
deterioration but I’m grateful that she has is receiving such good care.
As she is unable to communicate I am so relieved to know that the carers understand and anticipate her needs.
I also appreciate the challenges the home have faced during the pandemic.
