My husband has dementia & has been cared for at Rossetti House for nearly 4 years. I visit very regularly. He is extremely well cared for, staff are excellent & very supportive of me too. The home is extremely well managed & staff are always accessible. The cost is huge but that is the nature of the sector.
Mum was really negative when we first went to Rosetti to try out respite care, but within half an hour of being there, she was the happiest I have seen her in many years. Despite a few ups and downs since, she has overall been happy, with the weight of worrying about everything all taken off her shoulders, and perhaps above all else she really benefits and thrives from all the people about the place, both staff and residents, and the other people that come and go through reception.
Everything at Rosetti has been very good, and both mum and I are really happy with it. There is a lot of attention to the all so important detail, the attitude of the staff is very kind and respectful, and I feel mum is being really well looked after as well as keeping her dignity and as much independence as she wants or needs. She really enjoys the activities, the food is excellent and such a worry off her shoulders, and there is 24/7 care on hand if and when she needs it.
We are truly delighted to hear how positively your mum settled into life at Rossetti House, especially after her initial worries about respite care.
It means a great deal to know that she feels happy, supported, and able to...
When my mother first came to Rossetti, I thought what a lot of money for her care! As time went on I could understand, everything was wonderful. I would really like to mention staff by name, but cannot, I feel they became like family to myself as well as Mother. When she had her stroke, she signed a DNR, so was not taken to hospital. She had the best possible death and I will never be able to thank the staff enough. Thank you all.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share this, especially given everything you have been through. It means the world to us to read your words.
It was a privilege to care for your mother, and we are so glad that, as your time with us went on, you were able to see the love and dedication...
Enormous thanks to the whole team at Rossetti House for their welcome and care for my granny during her month-long respite stay. We were so impressed by their kindness, professionalism and attention to detail. My granny has previously had poor experiences of respite, but at 97 and recovering from an infection she needed a bit of care to get back on her feet. She made a great recovery in time for Christmas and was then able to join in with fun activities and household meals. She has nothing but praise for the wonderful ambience and genuinely thoughtful staff. Special thanks go to the chef, who managed her tricky dairy- and gluten-free diet so well. The team was also so welcoming of me when I visited each day - always time for a chat - and communication was easy and pleasant. Granny says: 'If I need another holiday, or ever have to go somewhere long-term, it will be Rossetti.' That's a five star review from the person who really matters.
Thank you so much for your wonderful five-star review. We’re delighted to hear your granny had such a positive and restorative stay with us, and that our team helped her recover, feel at home, and enjoy activities and meals again.
Your kind words about our staff, welcoming atmosphere,...

I was overhwlhemed by the care and attention, this was the experience of a lifetime. Can't thank everyone enough for looking after me so wonderfully.
We were so happy to have you stay with us and you are welcome any time.
We hope to see you soon.
My mother was very fortunate to take up permanent residence in August 2025. I cannot speak highly enough of the entire team at Rossetti House. All aspects of her move were dealt with very efficiently plus with great personal warmth and understanding. Given her vascular dementia and recent lengthy hospitalisation after breaking her hip, to find the right place for her care and support wasn't easy but the team Rossetti House have all been amazing and she has quickly developed a sense of home in Rossetti House. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Rossetti House. Thank you.

My initial visit to sort out the Respite was very informative, and all the staff from entering to leaving were very pleasant and helpful and my husband will be going back in the future.

Rossetti House is fantastic and I can't recommend your care teams and facilities enough. Everyone made us feel very welcome and the care was superb. I came in most days and was so pleased to see how well my step dad was being looked after and how happy he was being at Rossetti. Your teams have so much patience and do a fantastic, amazing job treating all your Residents and visitors with such kindness. Thank you everyone at Rossetti.

My stepfather, who has Parkinson's, early-stage dementia and mobility issues, received outstanding two-week respite care. Staff showed professionalism and genuine warmth, engaging residents with meaningful conversation throughout the day-never just walking past-and demonstrating exceptional patience with complex needs. It was clear they had read his pre-admission life story, as staff knew his interests personally. The beautiful garden was regularly used, with staff accompanying residents, and rooms were spacious and comfortable. Smaller dining and lounge areas avoided an institutional feel, and the food looked excellent. As a visitor, I always felt welcome. The staff's active, person-centred approach preserved residents' dignity and quality of life. A perfect balance of professionalism and personal care-we couldn't have asked for better. Highly recommended, and we'll certainly use the service again.

After doing lots of research and many visits to other care homes in the local area, my mother became a resident of Rossetti House in Sept 2024. I can honestly say that I have never had any doubts about selecting this care home. In my opinion there is nothing to dislike. The staff are exceptional and are so kind and caring - always with a smile and a laugh. The facilities are superb and my mother loves going down to the in - house library to select her books. The food is excellent and my mother is so happy there. I have no doubt in recommending Rossetti House and I cannot thank the staff enough for making my Mum so happy and settled.

My mum arrived on 20th May 2025 I can't express my gratitude to everyone who has helped my mum, she is so happy and tells me every time I visit she loves the food and keeps saying it is like a 5* hotel. I feel confident that she is safe and so happy. I have my mum "back" the staff are so friendly and helpful and everyone knows her name, she wishes she could remember all their names. Thank goodness for them wearing name badges.

My uncle has been living at Rosetti House since December 2024, and continues to thrive in his new home. He is safe and happy here and for us, as a family, this peace of mind is priceless. It was a big step leaving his previous home of over 30 years and we had reservations as to how he'd adapt. We needn't have worried. He settled in very quickly with the support of the excellent care team, and has made some valuable & meaningful connections with other residents and carers. The social interactions and warm, positive environment have led to a marked improvement in his overall wellbeing. There is plenty going on to stimulate him and we are always made to feel welcome on our visits. My uncle recently celebrated a milestone birthday and the entire team went above and beyond to make the day incredibly special for him. He considers Rosetti his home. He's got his sparkle back! Thank you for enabling our uncle to smile, laugh and 'live' again.

My mother moved into Rossetti House recently and we have been very pleased both with the pre and post move process and how she is settling in. The management individuals who help us through the move itself were excellent, and the staff now looking after mum are really supporting her well. It is great to have her so well looked after and taking part in the life of the home more than we expected and hoped.

My mother has now been living at Rosetti House for 4 months. The building is obviously lovely, and she has a really nice room with French doors onto her own patio, but the thing that makes Rosetti special is the staff. They are so friendly and caring, you feel welcome as soon as you step through the door. They keep an eye on Mum's health, both physical and mental, gently encouraging her to join in activities. There is a family style dining area just for her wing, where a little group, who she now describes as her friends, enjoy what I can only describe as restaurant quality food. When I visit, we sit in the central cafe area and enjoy delicious coffee and cakes. The icing on the cake came after taking her out one day, and when we came back, she said "It really feels like coming back home now". To me, that said it all. I can honestly say Rosetti House has not only transformed my Mum's life, but also my own.

The staff are wonderful. Visiting is easy. The organisation is very understanding and does their best to accommodate reasonable requests.
Above all, my Mother was made to feel part of a community, and quickly settled in.
Recommended without hesitation.

My mother stayed for six weeks respite. Nothing was too much trouble. Welcoming and caring both to Mum and the family. Brilliant rooms, facilities and gardens to enjoy. Excellent variety of meals and special alterations made as Mum is gluten-free. Definitely a 100% recommendation from me.
Thank you very much for taking the time to leave us feedback about your experience and I hope your mum is doing well at home: kindest regards, Home Admissions Advisor, Rossetti House.
I was a welfare officer for Rotary and visited many times, to see and to report on problems or otherwise. I was fortunate to get a room but only because a very good friend had died. I sleep badly, my day starts with tea and biscuits before 6:30 am, always a smile, lots of kind words and genuine concern from everyone here, 24 hours each day. Everyone cares and everyone listens, making my terminal cancer as bearable as possible. I would list everyone nurses, carers and management under the same heading. Dedicated and professional, superb!
Those are such lovely words from a truly lovely man. Thank you.
Fabulous surroundings and facilities.
The staff are all very caring and supportive of Mum.
All in all, a good experience.

All the staff and carers were amazing. I cannot praise them enough. Nothing was too much trouble.
The home and garden is well kept. All clean and tidy.
A variety of meals everyday.
Definitely a recommendation to anyone who may be considering home/respite for a loved one.

Meet the Team (1)

I’ve worked for some years in the care sector, including in care quality support roles. Prior to being General Manager here at Rossetti House, I was Head of Care at the home.
While there’s much to keep me busy in my job, by far my favourite part of the role is spending time with residents, particularly if we’re doing fun activities together. Enabling older people to enjoy life to the full is ultimately what each person who works here is passionate about – including me.
I look forward to welcoming you to our wonderful Frome home very soon and introducing you to our passionate, caring and skilled team.
