The entertainment provided is for all the residents regardless of their disability. Entertainment is sometimes provided by outside providers as well as in-house. On one of my visits last week, I walked into my husband's room and there was a Shetland pony! He was so overwhelmed emotionally.
There are regular meetings held for relatives with visiting speakers. I feel a great sense of relief knowing he is cared for 24 hours a day which I was unable to provide myself.

As the Home Manager, I take great pleasure in being actively involved in all aspects of our home.
With my nursing background, I understand the significance of delivering the highest quality care possible. I believe it’s essential to involve our residents in creating their care plans, allowing us to provide the support they truly want and need.
I aim to make a positive impact that resonates with our residents, as even the smallest gestures can make a difference. At our care home, I work closely with both staff and families to ensure we create an environment where everyone feels valued and respected. I encourage open communication, and I am always available to listen to residents’ concerns or suggestions.
Witnessing our residents and my team share laughter, smiles, and special moments brings me immense joy and reminds me daily of the meaningful work we do together.
