The home is a joy. The staff are friendly, efficient and caring. The building is modern and purpose built and includes a coffee area, library room, hair salon, bar room and several lounges. The gardens are neat and tidy and finally has its own resident rabbits and chickens.

Beautifully clean with excellent caring staff.

My mum was resident in this care home for 4 months before she sadly passed away. Her care during this time by all care staff and nurses was excellent. The staff at the centre are so caring and kind. My mother received the best care she possibly could for her end of life. I can't thank them enough.

We are so pleased my mother-in-law could spend the last 6 months of her life in such a place as Acacia Lodge. She was surrounded by love, care and peace and died in a calm atmosphere with someone at her bedside. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, they understood her every need, organised her medication to her advantage and they are simply superb. Thank you.

My aunt is a resident in the dementia unit of Acacia Care Centre. She is always treated with respect and care; she has care needs in all areas and communication problems so providing care can sometimes be a challenge.

Caring staff, facility good with games and entertainment. People seem happy. I am satisfied my sister is well looked after.

We knew he was being well cared for. This was reaffirmed each time we returned to the UK to visit with my uncle. As well, each time friends of his visited they would email us to keep us informed about his care and condition. This reaffirmed with us that he was being well cared for by caring staff. During his last days (in October 2017) we received email updates about his condition and then a lovely note at the time of his passing. A few weeks later, we received a package by post with some personal mementoes, pictures and a couple of personal items which gave us comfort at this difficult time.

We visited 3 homes and this was the by far the best, we thought the service may be different when arriving but the home, management and staff have all been really good and very helpful, friendly and respectful to our father's needs.

A well maintained care home with attentive staff and well organised. Meals - from those I've seen - are very simple, hardly appetising, and disappointing, especially when compared to the description given in your brochure. Generally the level of noise is what is expected, but there is excessive noise from the television sets in adjacent rooms. Could these residents keep the volume lower or keep their door closed? A good care home let down by poor food and avoidable noise. Expensive in the circumstances!

Acacia Care Home is really lovely. The building is sympathetically laid out, so there is good personal space as well as communal space, including a beautiful garden that is well used. Staff are very familiar and helpful. In my opinion, compared to others in Barnet Borough where my own mum was, this is like a Palace.

We are very happy with the service provided the staff are excellent, caring and polite.

I have to help with tasks, like cleaning her room and finds the nights frightening, as staff don't seem very warm.

I have found the staff in this care home from the receptionist to the carers, to be welcoming and friendly. They listen and show compassion when dealing with the residents and visitors. On several occasions, they have observed positive aspects about my sister's behaviour and have told me about it. My sister is unable to speak because she is suffering disabilities from a stroke. I am pleased with the way the staff are caring for my sister.

She is a gem and an asset to your company.

Dad was at Acacia for a very short time but was treated with great dignity and with care. Everyone, from the nurses to the cleaners, was so very nice. I am just so sorry he wasn't there for longer.

Very pleased indeed with the care my father is receiving. High standard of nursing care. Staff are responsive to requests. The rooms and shared areas are clean, well decorated and welcoming.

As an organisation they really do try to get things right to treat their residents with dignity and affection and to try to help them be as active and engaged as possible. I genuinely used to look forward to my visits, and now my mum has died I miss going there.

I cannot recommend Acacia Care Centre highly enough. The care they gave my husband during the last weeks of his life was beyond words. The support they gave me during this difficult time was a great comfort.

I appreciate the friendliness and willingness of the staff here to make me feel comfortable and to feel at home.
