Foxbridge House in Orpington, Kent, is a purpose-built home offering nursing, respite and residential care, as well as specialist dementia care.

The bright and spacious home has been designed to create a lively, family atmosphere. Residents can enjoy a wealth of luxury features, including a hair and nail salon, a retro-themed cinema and a coffee shop perfect for socialising. All of the bedrooms have en-suite facilities, a TV and a 24-hour nurse call system.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are the cornerstones of daily life at Foxbridge House. The team places importance on protecting residents' meal-times as good nutrition and hydration are key to staying well. Family members are very welcome to 'book-in' and join their loved one for a meal.

Fees are subject to a pre-admission needs assessment which is required to fully understand the level
of care and support required by each individual. Premium rooms normally require an additional charge.

other privately arranged healthcare. Should you require an escort to hospital appointments, we may apply
an agreed hourly charge for this service.

A caring home that has settled my Dad with efficiency and warmth. Comments are taken on board and help always readily available. The staff are amazing and very patient and understanding at such an emotional time. My Dad is very well cared for but above all, he is in a safe environment.

Though my cousin was only at Foxbridge House for the last two months of her life the care she received from the nursing staff was excellent. I know she was very happy to stay. The administration process was efficient and nothing was too much trouble.

Customer relationship manager has been very helpful through the move of my grandad into the home.

We had a meeting this morning with a customer relationship manager which we found both helpful and productive.
The staff are always happy to stop and talk.
It was a very difficult decision to put my Father-in-law into a home and they ensured the transition went smoothly and reassured all along the
way.

Due to a change of circumstances, dad needed care at short notice. The staff at Foxbridge have made him welcome and helped to smooth over what was an unexpected situation. Dad has quickly relaxed into the friendly environment and has enjoyed meeting new people and making friends, having lived alone

As I was away on holiday, I only visited mum prior to her stay and afterwards to take her home. So I feel that my insight into the stay can only be based on my mum's opinion and the visitors. Overall, mum was very happy, although did moan about a few things, but has little patience if things are not
done straight away. Maybe a bit more guidance, as we did not know to put washing in the string bag, so it did not get done. But we may have been told and it was not taken onboard.

I have had a very happy stay and would willingly come again. Carers are loving and dedicated and always there at your beckon call, they are never angry with you. Only sometimes do they have to be strict with the patients with Alzheimer's disease. I used to be a chaplain's visitor and visited in Orpington
and Farnborough hospitals. I loved every minute of it. They were like family to me - I would tell them about our Lord Jesus Christ and the gift of healing which he gives to all who put their faith of trust in him. I will certainly come back and visit here as I live quite near.

My father was a resident of the Larch Wing (dementia) at Foxbridge House for the last seven months of his life. From the moment he first arrived the staff all helped him to settle in quickly. They established a caring personal relationship with him and dad relaxed in their care. We all appreciated the
provisions which were made because of his special diet and all his likes and dislikes!
I virtually lived at Foxbridge for the last week of my dad's life. I witnessed the excellent around the clock care given to all the residents, from the housekeeping staff to the nurses, carers and management. Their dedication and care was exemplary.

My sister and brother-in-law came to Foxbridge House in June, my sister with dementia and her husband generally unwell. Sadly my brother-in-law passed away recently, he was treated with kindness and respect. My sister is treated with gentleness and kindness which I know is sometimes difficult for them,
I haven't heard them lose patience with her, which I appreciate greatly.

My mother stayed here for six months. Her carers and helpers were all very nice and caring and made my mum's stay very comfortable and happy. I would recommend Foxbridge House to anyone else for respite or long term care. Also, the customer care and management were all pleasant and helpful too.

Having been a nurse all my working life and visited many nursing and residential home I can honestly say Foxbridge House is one of the best I have seen. The home is clean, the general upkeep is excellent and the care and consideration shown to my 100 yr old aunt is excellent. She is being treated with
dignity and affection and as a relative I felt the staff I spoke to genuinely care for her well being and were kind and considerate to me. I would recommend this facility to anyone.

My mother moved to Foxbridge House in May 2016 following a change of needs review in her residential home. Mum had dementia and mobility issues following frequent falls and was a wheelchair user. During June/July mum became end of life and the team on Larch could not have been more caring, thoughtful
or willing to fully engage us in mums care needs. As her deterioration became significant we were fully supported and informed of her changing care needs. Mum passed away peacefully and we as a family felt cared for and supported throughout our short time on Larch. Thank you.

A very, clean beautiful residential home. My aunt felt she was on holiday in a hotel. Staff all so caring. It's always a worry leaving someone you love in the hands of strangers but Foxbridge House gave such peace of mind.

Job Title: Home Manager

There are many different aspects of my role as Home Manager at Foxbridge House, but one of my favourites is the opportunity to meet and get to know residents and their families. It’s a huge privilege.


Every person we care for is at the heart of their care: they make decisions about how they want to be cared for, how they want to spend their day and live their life, and we support them to make that happen.


Central to achieving that is having a superb team. We have great people at Foxbridge House who are determined to do their best for residents, relatives and for each other. I’m here to support them to succeed, and Care UK supports me to succeed as well.


While this job is high-pressured and there’s a lot to juggle, the feeling at the end of the day of knowing that you’ve done the best job you can is second to none.
