Hello, my name is Chris Perks. I am the General Manager of Ritson Lodge Care Home. Welcome to our website. I am an experienced manager with over 35 years of experience within the care sector, with 25 years in senior management.

I believe in a whole team approach. Working together has one team to ensure person-centred care is top of our agenda at all times. Delivering outstanding quality of care, creating a life enrichment programme tailored to our residents' needs and interests.

Hello, my name is Ashton. I started as the Deputy Manager at Ritson Lodge in July 2025.

I have extensive experience within the care sector. I have experience working in nursing homes, housing with care schemes, HR and quality management. I am a qualified lead auditor in ISO 9001, which is related to providing quality of care.

My passion is helping residents and Relatives, and that's what I enjoy most in my role as Deputy Manager.

I have an extensive background in healthcare with 22 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse working within the NHS, including hospitals, the private sector, GP surgeries, prisons and schools. I also lectured.

I have worked in the admin team at Ritson Lodge since 2017 and have a strong connection to the residents and staff, and feel very proud to work here at Ritson Lodge.

I am passionate and strive to provide a first-class experience to our residents and their relatives. Working with my team, I am responsible for all aspects of administration at the home.

Hello, my name is Becky, and I am the Head of our Memory Lane Dementia Community here at Ritson Lodge.

I have been working at Ritson Lodge for over 10 years now and my passion since I was very young has always been looking after the elderly and Dementia Care.

Our residents have so many fantastic stories that they share and I really enjoy getting to know their families and friends too when they come to visit.

I really enjoy working at Ritson Lodge and nothing drives me more than providing the best possible care for all of our residents who choose to make Ritson Lodge their home.

Hello, my name is Annmarie, and I am the head of community at our Residential Care Community at Ritson Lodge

I have worked with the Ritson Lodge family since 2023, starting as a care assistant, and with the support of the company, I completed an apprenticeship level 3 in Lead Adult Care Worker.

Over this time, I have made many memories with our amazing residents and their families. On occasion, I bring my Cockapoo, Indy, to the home to see all our lovely residents, and I love seeing how much joy that it brings them.

I am very passionate about my role and the outstanding care that our team provide to our residents here at Ritson Lodge.

My Name is Robert ( known as Bobby). I have been in the catering industry for over 20 years, working in many fine dining restaurants.

My role at Ritson Lodge is to lead and work with my kitchen team to provide a high-quality dining experience with menus that are tailored for our residents and their needs.

I love working alongside the staff and residents to create new ideas for menu planning, and speaking to the residents about their pasts and understanding what their favourite dishes are.

Hello, my name is Paul and I am the Maintenance Manager at Ritson Lodge.

As the Maintenance Manager, I make sure the home and gardens are maintained to a high standard. We are very proud of our beautiful home and the whole team works hard to ensure that our residents enjoy living here.

It is my responsibility to make sure every resident's stay here is as comfortable as possible and I am always on hand to help residents with putting up a new picture, installing a new TV or rearranging their furniture.

My door is always open to anyone who has an idea about improving the home in any way.
