I enjoy visiting and also loved the Christmas decorations and window art.
Thank you. it's so nice to hear you loved our Christmas decorations this year, we have a challenge to do better this year for sure. I'm glad Nanny is happy here, I will feedback to the team.
Mom came out of hospital and needed care before she could go home, Barchester Ritson Lodge was fantastic with her needs and with dealing with us.
Thank you for your feedback, I will pass this on to the team. We really do like to hear we have made a difference.
Helped me regain my confidence to walk after being in the hospital having 6 weeks of radiotherapy and a fractured spine with their encouragement and perseverance.
I'm so glad you had a good experience and that you are doing well. Please keep in touch and let us know how you and your family are getting on. I'm glad we gave you the confidence and help you needed to get home again.
My Mum stayed for respite post serious illness in hospital to enable us to take a break and the care my Mum received was exemplary. Mum's health has progressed beyond my expectations, gaining good levels of weight, regaining appetite and she has her smile back once again. We sincerely thank the dedicated staff at Ritson Lodge for their gold-standard level of care and the kindness they show everything.
I'm so glad Mum did so well here and you could enjoy a well-deserved break. We hope to see you and Mum again soon.
All the staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Totally excellent.
Thank you for your feedback, I am glad that we made your stay enjoyable.
Fantastic care home, with superb staff and managers. The food is awesome, superb chefs. Very clean to the highest standard. All in all a brilliant place to stay.
Thank you for your feedback please come and see us at one of our events you can check these out on our social media page.
My aunt has been a resident at Ritson Lodge since last August and at every visit, I have found the home to be spotlessly clean and welcoming. The staff seem to go above and beyond for my aunt and show her genuine care. Family and friends are always welcome and yesterday we enjoyed joining everyone for their 10th birthday celebrations. Well done to two members of staff in particular, it was lovely to see everyone happy and joining in with a sing-a-long and a little dance!
Thank you for your feedback I was very disappointed to have missed the day but my staff loved making a fuss of everyone. We hope you join us again soon. I will let our staff know especially those two. Thank you.
The home is second to none. Light, airy and modern with large well-furnished bedrooms and ensuites, it's very welcoming. The staff are all lovely, helpful and very respectable towards all the residents. Very good activities which all are encouraged to take part in. Very clean and hygienic and has great facilities.
Thank you so much, we are so glad we could help in your mum's recovery. Don't forget to pop in for our events and visit us from time to time.
The carers, chefs and managers are exceptional, going above and beyond every day to ensure that my mum receives the love and support she deserves. I have witnessed the care and attention given to other residents during my visits and it is consistent and of an exceptional standard.
It's nice to see how she has thrived at Ritson.
The premises are bright, modern and clean. The staff are friendly, helpful and welcoming. I was able to arrange a room at short notice and the management made it as simple as possible at what was a difficult time. I cannot fault the care my father received, the carers were kind, compassionate and loving. My father did not enjoy the food but I found it adequate.
Thank you for your review and I hope Dad is settling now at home. As always we are here if you need us.
My mum was so pleased to be here, excellent all around from reception to departure. Thank you all so much for your help, encouragement and support. 100% priceless. Thank you.
Thank you for your feedback. I will pass this on to our team. We are glad you found the support you needed.
The chef's homemade cakes and biscuits are so delicious!
Thank you for your feedback. I will let my team know. I'm glad to hear the team looked after you all not just your brother.
My daughter came to Ritson Lodge at end of November for respite care whilst a permanent placement could be found. Fortunately, she is still here, absolutely loving living here and cared for by a wonderful team of staff, whatever their job role they are friendly, caring and willing to ensure a high standard of care is delivered. Can't thank enough them all for the care they give. Clean, tidy and spacious room and communal areas. Meals are appetising and very much enjoyed by my daughter.
Thank you so much for this amazing feedback and great review about our home, the care our team provides, the cleanliness and the food we serve. It really does mean so much to all of the team here to know that your daughter is enjoying her time with us and you are happy too. Thank you so much!
The staff of Ritson Lodge are very friendly and dedicated. Whenever you go to visit or call they are very polite and helpful. The staff go above their job to make sure the residents are happy and have everything they require. When our uncle passed away, the staff made sure our aunt was told with people around her who sat with her until members of the family could get to her. Nothing seems to be any trouble. The whole place is immaculate.
Thank you so much for your kind words and taking the time to leave such a great review about our home and the care experienced by your uncle. I will be sure to share this with the home team and thank you once again for this - it really does mean so much!
This was the first time my husband had been for respite at Barchester Ritson Lodge Care Home and from the moment we arrived, he was treated with the utmost care and respect. I would not hesitate to recommend this care home.

We went to visit my husband's brother who is staying in Ritson Lodge for a short stay. We were extremely impressed with the cleanliness and how friendly and caring the staff were.
Thank you so much for your feedback it always means so much to the team here and I will feed this back. Please let me know if you have any suggestions on improving our activities in future as we always like to ensure 5 stars across the board.
After moving my dad from a previous care home in London to somewhere more local after relocating myself, I can only say that the family and I made the best choice with Ritson Lodge. We viewed a few care homes prior to choosing but can honestly say the warm welcome that we received on viewing has been extended to his stay and not just 'for show'. The staff are amazing, always very helpful, cheerful and encouraging. Pleased to say that dad is thriving in his new environment. Very happy.
Am absolutely delighted to read your fantastic review about our home, the staff and how happy your Dad and your family are with your experience at our home. Thank you so much for taking the time to write this - your kind words really do mean a lot to us all here at Ritson Lodge.
From the first enquiry until now the staff have been extremely accommodating to help us as a family to get my parent moved and settled in. I have been happy with all his personal care needs being met. The room being a lovely place for him to stay and the interactions with the staff. The knowledge and dedication really make it a happy home.
Thank you for your amazing review about our home, the care we provide and our home team. We really do appreciate you taking the time to share this and it really does mean the world to us all. Thank you again so much!
Has been amazing from day one. My aunt is sometimes challenging, but nothing seems to phase them.

We have been to visit our friend every week since she has been in Ritson Lodge, she is always up and dressed and sitting with other residents, she is happy and cared for. I would recommend this residential home and we have no concerns.
