Hello, my name is Katy Hughes, I am the General Manager of Ritson Lodge Care Home. As the Ritson Lodge Manager, I take responsibility for inspiring and leading the whole team and ensuring the highest standards of care.

I have been working in the care sector since 1997 and have been a Registered Manager since 2005. One of my proudest achievements is winning a Care Award for Motivational Leadership in 2016 which meant so much to me as it was a team I was leading at the time who nominated me.

I have a wealth of experience within a multitude of care settings including Nursing, Residential and Dementia Care, Palliative Care, Young Person with Complex Disabilities, Young on-set Dementia and Learning Disability.

My aim is to use my passion for quality care and empowering residents, along with the dedication of our talented team to create a wonderful environment for all residents and their loved ones.

Hello, my name is Jo. I have been a Home Administrator at Barchester Healthcare since 2002.

My team and I coordinate and facilitate all administration within the home for residents and staff.

My role includes supporting residents and their families with any financial matters that arise, whether they need help setting up a new Sky subscription, ordering newspapers or simply getting some extra shopping in.

Hello, my name is Becky, and I am the Head of our Memory Lane Dementia Community here at Ritson Lodge.

I have been working at Ritson Lodge for over 10 years now and my passion since I was very young has always been looking after the elderly and Dementia Care.

Our residents have so many fantastic stories that they share and I really enjoy getting to know their families and friends too when they come to visit.

I really enjoy working at Ritson Lodge and nothing drives me more than providing the best possible care for all of our residents who choose to make Ritson Lodge their home.

Hello, my name is Paul and I am the Maintenance Manager at Ritson Lodge.

As the Maintenance Manager, I make sure the home and gardens are maintained to a high standard. We are very proud of our beautiful home and the whole team works hard to ensure that our residents enjoy living here.

It is my responsibility to make sure every resident's stay here is as comfortable as possible and I am always on hand to help residents with putting up a new picture, installing a new TV or rearranging their furniture.

My door is always open to anyone who has an idea about improving the home in any way.

Hello, my name is Tom and I am the Head Chef here at Ritson Lodge. I pride myself on preparing high quality food and seeing our residents enjoy the dishes that the team and myself create makes me very happy.

Our Hospitality team here at Ritson Lodge is committed to providing seasonal home cooked menus offering choice, nutrition and quality - including exciting menus to specific individual dietary needs and all appetites. The food we produce is hugely important to our residents which is why it is absolutely imperative that we always get their feedback and continuously meet the needs and nutritional quota of every single resident who chooses to make Ritson Lodge their home.

Hello, my name is Reece and I am a Host here at Ritson Lodge.

I have worked here since 2017 and I have spent time in the kitchen and as a Host. I love being a Host because I like to help the residents and be able to interact with them. My role is to ensure that all the residents have a fantastic dining experience for every meal. The chef and I will always spend time with new residents to find out their likes, dislikes and preferences.

My name is Kimberley. I am the life style enrichment and activities co-ordinator at Ritson Lodge.

I've really enjoyed settling into my role at Ritson Lodge and the best thing about my job is seeing the smiles and enjoyment when delivering our daily activities programme and the interaction with our Residents.
