Chiltern Grange Care Home

My very elderly mother has been at Chiltern Grange for two years now and I can honestly say that she has felt safe, content and totally cared for. The staff are so patient and understanding, the food is great, there’s plenty of different daily activities and the whole ambience is like that of a five-star hotel. What makes a real difference is having regular staff so that she sees the same faces each day and gets a true sense of continuity, however, the real driving force behind the success of Chiltern Grange comes from the manager who has instigated many positive changes there and has personally gone above and beyond to ensure what is best for my mother. Her thoughtfulness and dedication have been remarkable and a true credit to this care home.

In summary, I am extremely happy with Chiltern Grange Care Home and the excellent care they are providing my mother.

This is my first visit, I wasn't sure what to expect. My nan's room is beautiful and lovely and clean. The staff were really nice.

My husband spent just over two weeks in respite care on the nursing unit at Chiltern Grange in January 2024. After a negative experience previously in a different home, I was so very pleased with the care provided here. My husband was treated with respect and dignity and I felt his care needs were well met during his stay there. I had a couple of minor issues which were addressed quickly and effectively by staff, whose attitudes were consistently compassionate. The food generally was flavoursome and varied. We are both more than satisfied and will be using this home again for future periods of respite.

My mother-in-law is safe and content. She enjoys the food offered and the company. We have peace of mind that she is well looked after. No complaints.

Caring home, residents are very well looked after. Friendly and warm staff, giving that extra care to residents. A friendly smile whenever you visit. Very clean and tidy home, where the residents feel safe.

The staff at Chiltern Grange have been excellent. My mother-in-law had a couple of minor health issues but they have been dealt with professionally and with care. Since moving into the home, she looks much better and is in better spirits in general. Thank you!

Very good recently refurbished care home. All the staff from reception, housekeeping, carers, chef and management are super friendly and welcoming. My mum is so well cared for that I don't have to worry about her, I just enjoy visiting her.

Very warm welcome. The staff are friendly, kind and helpful. My uncle seems very happy, and his room was very clean. It's lovely coming away knowing he is in such a lovely place.

My sister had been in hospital, following a fall, for an overnight stay and had already had previous falls and was being treated for a UTI. She was then admitted to Chiltern Grange for respite care. During her stay she went to another hospital following another fall and had another overnight stay. On returning she was very well looked after as she had already been. She was in a very nice room and was looked after very well and most kindly by all the ward staff and everyone else.

I felt compelled to write a review regarding my uncle's stay at your home. from the welcome we received at our initial show-around to the overall improvement in his health, once he was able to go home and look after himself. Every step of his recovery was handled with care and consideration of his needs.

On visiting Chiltern Grange, my brothers and I felt very comfortable and welcome. We immediately felt Mum would be safe and they understood my mum's needs. The rooms and communal areas were inviting and relaxing. I highly recommend it.

Chiltern Grange is such a lovely home. The staff are compassionate and caring, and the beautiful garden is a huge bonus! My mother-in-law is very happy and settled and pleased she made the move when she did.

I had to leave the home a 5-star review as I was so impressed whilst visiting a friend who has been a resident for a while. She can’t say enough about the staff and how happy she is at the home. We had a lovely visit, and it was good to see her so settled and happy.

My aunt moved into Chilton Grange because she was beginning to struggle at home, she has settled in really well, the staff are amazing, the activities keep my aunt occupied and the food tastes great. My aunt said she should have made the move years ago.
