My sister has been in the home nine months now and the transformation is extraordinary. She is happy, smiley, affectionate, and in great health thanks to the fantastic food, regular exercise, and positive relationships with staff. I feel I can, and do, pop in any time and I always find a vibrant, positive, and happy family atmosphere. Myself and my family are extremely relieved and happy and can now look forward to the future.
He is now the happiest he’s been for many years, and a lot fitter too!
We all now feel able to relax, knowing he is in such great care, and long may it continue!
I am the eldest of six, and one of my younger brothers suffers from Down’s Syndrome and Autism. He now lives at Maple Tree Care Ltd and is happier and healthier than he has been for many years. Principally as a result of government funding restrictions, Social Services had latterly been forced to place him in forms of Supported Living, where he was clearly deeply unhappy. Eventually, we found Maple Tree and, although we had a long and desperate struggle to secure the necessary Local Authority funding, we are both relieved and delighted that our efforts paid off. He is once again on familiar territory where he feels he belongs - in a family setting.
My 45-year-old autistic daughter has been a resident at Maple Tree for the past six and a half years. During this time she has been looked after both physically and mentally with first-class care. Her outlook on life has improved beyond recognition at times, so I know she is happy, even though she can not always tell me. I would just like to add to my comments, especially concerning these past 8 months with this dreadful virus. The staff at Maple Tree have gone above and beyond their call in their caring duties during this pandemic, making sure that my daughter is safe. I can’t thank them enough for following all the rules, and guidance, giving me peace of mind knowing that she is safe. It is still very much a home from home, with loving extended loving family.
Thank you for your kind comments. Your daughter brings joy to our extended family and it is a pleasure and privilege to support her.
When we found Maple Tree Care, we were delighted to see him settle in well and at last seem happy and secure. The care at Maple Tree is excellent, thoughtful and compassionate. We are so glad to have found somewhere that our brother feels is his second home. Our 92-year-old mother’s mind is now at rest after many years of sleepless nights.
Thank you for your kind comments. It is a privilege and a pleasure to have your brother as part of our extended family.
My son has not been so happy for many years. He visits me for 24 hours just to check up on his family and precious record collection. In the morning he’s ready first thing to go back to his other home. He tells me has 2 homes. At Maple Tree, he’s so happy and stimulated. I cannot remember when I felt so happy and relaxed with his care. Normally they go out often to pubs or a meal and to shows and to the seaside. His healthcare and hospital visits are exemplary. He is always well turned out. I can’t praise the directors and staff highly enough. The staff are well trained and all seem to love their jobs. They’re always so jolly and happy to see me or any of my son’s family. We all feel so welcome.
Thank you for your lovely comments it is and has been a pleasure caring for your son. He is a big part of the extended Maple Tree 'family' and never ceases to make us smile.
My brother has been a resident at Maple Tree for the last 3 or 4 years. Previously he experienced a variety of settings from group homes (which he enjoyed) to supported living which was a disaster, adversely affecting both his physical health and his mental well-being. The caring, family atmosphere at Maple Tree suits him perfectly. He is supported to pursue his interests, encouraged to exercise and eat healthily, and above all has the regular company he craves, coming from a large family background. For the family, finding Maple Tree has meant we no longer have to worry about my brother as we know he is well-cared-for and accepts Maple Tree as his permanent home. The staff and directors at Maple Tree are responsive and conscientious, and we have no doubt that they have my brother's best interests at heart. Above all, it is wonderful to see my brother happy and contented, looking forward to "returning home" after family visits and beaming with pleasure when he walks through the door.
Thank you for your comments and it is a pleasure to have him as part of our Maple Tree 'family'.
