We no longer have to worry about my mother in law being safe. Castlecroft have the most amazing staff who always go the extra mile. We couldn't really ask for more. She is cared for. Facilities are second to none. Meals are fantastic. My elderly father in law visits everyday, he also gets a meal. Me and my family cannot fault anyone or anything at Castlecroft. Knowing my mother in law is safe and well is a blessing. Can't fault anything. Thank you all so much from the bottom of my heart.

My Mother has been at the home now for a few years. Never had any major issue or concern. Always drive away knowing she is safe and in a caring environment. Lovely staff that keep the spirits up and really make a difference. Wasn't sure how she would be going in at first but she loves it there. Thanks all x

Mom moved into Castlecroft in April 2020 during Covid with advanced vascular dementia aged 88, and she tested the security arrangements after a lifetime of going where she wanted when she wanted. She was treated with compassion and understanding by the caring staff of the home. No matter what time of day that we visited mom was well looked after.
Unfortunately she passed away on 23rd Feb 2026 and the love and care of everyone at the care home was palpable and very much appreciated.
I can honestly say that the ease of mind we as a family had, from knowing that mom was 100% in the right place to make her final years as happy as possible, was worth its weight in gold.

I would like to thank everyone involved in her care for the last 6 years from the bottom of my heart.

Castlecroft provides a caring, friendly and joyful environment for all - residents, staff and relatives alike. It is such a pleasure to visit and a very uplifting place to be. The staff deserve recognition for their hard work and the excellent standard of care provided. Nothing is too much trouble and the friendly, positive atmosphere ie evidenced by seeing staff come in on their days off, as they feel so much part of the Castlecroft 'family'. This care home is very well led and staff retention high - which tells its own story. Castlecroft is a big part of the community and many local people volunteer at the home. It sets the benchmark for excellence in care and we feel very lucky to have our relatives there. Well done to all - we are so grateful for all that you do!

After a lot of upset and worry with my husband going into hospital and other care homes I feel my husband is finally in the best place he could be. He is now content and settled and I could not ask for more. If I am worried or concerned about anything I feel I can go to any member of staff and it will be dealt with. There is a feeling of kindness through out the home which is wonderful. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff. The ensuite bedrooms are lovely and you are able to personalise them with photos and things for comfort.

Cleanliness is of a very high standard. I am very thankful my husband is there. Obviously I wish he was with me but as that is not a possibility we have the best result for us. I feel OK when I leave him as he is so well cared for. I am happy as I can be in our situation.

Castle Croft is a phenomonal care home. My Aunty is now bedridden and requires extensive care. Whenever I visit my Aunt she is clean and moisturised and her exercises have been performed. The care team take great joy in telling me about her progress and demonstrate genuine care and affection. Sam who leads the floor, has been an absolute rock for me and my family. We feel like she is now an extended part of our family. I dont know what we would have done without them all. They are all true angels.

My mother in law has been at castle croft for nearly 12 months and in that time we have got to know all the management and staff, they have all been very supportive and helpful.the staff are all absolutely brilliant always there with a kind word. Keep us informed on how she is daily, they sit and talk to her and help her with her daily needs. As a family we can't thank them enough always go above and beyond. The rooms are very spacious clean and bright and a lovely view of the grounds.there are lots of activities daily for residents to join in, lots of singing and dancing. Mother in law likes a lie in and they will always get her some food and a cupper no matter what the time of day it is. There's always snacks and some lovely meals and it's never too much trouble to get something different that she fancies.
