Visiting my dear friend, it is great to see her so well cared for in this excellent care home. The staff are caring and friendly, and my friend enjoys the food and her well-equipped room.

Having been in homes in Sheffield, Wolverhampton, Birmingham, and Sandwell as a visitor, this one is the best.

My mother moved into Castlecroft Residential Care Home when it just opened and my daughter was working there. We have recommended the home to many people of which some have referred their relatives and have been very happy with the home. The home is excellent including the food and staff. Everything is just amazing. My mother has been very happy there. Unfortunately, she is now coming to the end of her life. She is 100 on the 20th November and we hope she will make it. The staff has said she can end her days there instead of hospital and cannot praise the staff enough. They are wonderful.

After finally finding a place here for my dad, I was so relieved. The staff are so friendly, helpful and at the reception I was made to feel welcome. My dad has been here a month and has settled down and looks 100% better than before moving in. He also feels that the care here and the food is fantastic and he can't wander off on his own and that the care he receives is fabulous.

Staff are excellent and very caring. Facilities are good however activities are lacking although many service users are not interested or able to take part. Ideas are started but not thought through or completed. Outside space is very good but no-one tends gardens, collects litter etc, the grass is cut but nothing else done.

Mom was in Castlecroft for two years but sadly had a stroke and had to go into nursing.

Mom is now improving and would love to come back to the home as she found all staff meals and carers approachable and helpful.

All staff have been amazing looking after my Nan for the past three years especially when she has been ill. They are always welcoming and friendly. The use of dignity and sensitivity is amazing. I am really happy for my Nan to end her life here with such loving, caring staff. They treat her like family.

Castle Croft is a lovely place to live, it is run with a very homely atmosphere. From chickens being hatched from eggs to the much-loved resident dog Bella. Every resident celebrates their birthdays with a beautiful birthday cake. My brother was very happy there. I would like to thank all the staff for their care and kindness towards my brother during his stay, nothing was too much trouble.

My mother has been a resident at Castlecroft, Weoley Castle for 11 weeks. She had spent the previous weeks in hospital after a serious fall (broken nose, 2 broken cheekbones). Her previous care home would not accept her back because she was "a bad fall risk". Castlecroft accepted her and the care has been exemplary. She has continued to have falls, some more serious than others. The staff have always treated her with genuine compassion and consideration. She also has dementia which is taken into account by the carers. As a family we could not be more appreciative of the care she continues to receive.

Much appreciate the care and support given to my mother for the last two and a bit years she lived at Castlecroft.
Also the care and support extended to myself and family.

Moving a close relation into a care home is a difficult decision to make, but I made the right choice.

The assistant manager gave me the opportunity to raise any issues or concerns I had regarding my fathers recent move to the residential care home. Initial reactions are very positive in relation to the management team, staff, facilties and cleanliness (no negative aspects).

The assistant manager explained/informed me of the activities they had carried out to date, liaison with Juniper House, registering him at the local GP etc. All looking very good and my father is starting to respond in a positive manner..

My mother had a wonderful experience at Castle Croft. The staff team were amazing, dedicated, knowledgeable and very caring. They were very supportive to the family showing compassion and understanding. The management team have a lot of experience and lead the staff team by example. Mom loved the meals, cooked breakfast, afternoon tea and cakes and three course dinners. The staff were inventive with the activities they put on for the residents, from karaoke to pig roasts. It was hard finding a nice place for my dear mother but Castle Croft was the best decision, I have no regrets and thank them for their support and kindness.
