Star care staff genuinely care about their residents, it is not just a job to any of them. They keep up to date with any family news. They keep brilliant communication with service users and their families, keeping us up to date with any news.
They are supportive to both my mum and to us as a family.
My mum was very institutionalised when she went to star care. They have encouraged my mum to become more active, eat healthily, lose weight and become more independent. She still needs prompting with many tasks but can do things independently with that prompting in place. They keep her occupied and socially active.
They involve our family in any social events, including music tribute nights, and a brilliantly organised sports day which was very much fun for all involved.
My mum has become very attached to members of staff, as if they are valued friends. It is the perfect place for my mum at present.

A place to call home from home, my daughter and I always receive a very warm welcome whenever we go to visit my Uncle and always get a lovely cup of tea and biscuit! I have seen such an improvement in my Uncle and can really see drastic progression with my every visit.
I love the way the staff always
keep you updated with their routine, structured days, meals and daily activities.
The back garden is a lovely retreat where the residents grow their own potatoes, tomatoes and veg etc.
I also hear residents really enjoy the huge park opposite which they visit quite regularly.
I would highly recommend this professional, clean and friendly care home to anyone.
