Thank you for your wonderful feedback. It is a pleasure caring for Mum at Hinckley House and we will ensure that this feedback will be shared with the whole team at Hinckley House.
My brother has been a resident of the home for 9 months and was made to feel at home from the very beginning. He is now quite settled and looks much happier. He really enjoys the excellent food and has put on weight. All the staff are very caring and friendly and engage with the residents in a positive way. Very impressed with the personal touch he received on his birthday when he was taken out for a meal by one of the staff. Hinckley House is a very happy place.
Many thanks for the lovely review, We are so happy that your brother has settled so well, we love having him here with us. We will let the kitchen know your feedback too. Thank You again.
Staff always willing to help when desired. Residents always seem happy.
Always very clean. Vacuuming seen happening on almost all visits.
Food good, residents like it. Always 2 options per meal.
Coffee and tea in reception for visitors and nice cakes.
Always warm in the home.
Plenty of recreational options arranged for the residents. Including external arranged visitors. Outings arranged for residents, if they wish to go on them.
Kind Regards
Tori
My grandmother has been a resident for five months, and every visit reinforces my admiration for the staff's warmth, professionalism, and compassion. From carers and cleaners to receptionists and activity coordinators, everyone takes genuine pride in their work, something reflected in the residents' smiles.
Communication with families is clear, medications are managed meticulously, and any changes in health are swiftly addressed. The team works collaboratively to ensure both safety and well-being.
What truly sets this home apart is the atmosphere, it feels like a vibrant community rather than an institution. My grandmother is more socially engaged and particularly enjoys the music sessions, especially when "Elvis" performs!
As a doctor, I trust them completely. As a grandson, I couldn't be more grateful.
Thank you for taking the time to review Hinckley House Care Home. We are very grateful for your feedback and that you feel our team go above and beyond. We take pride in our work at Hinckley House and we are pleased to hear that this is reflected in our residents smiles, atmosphere and wellbeing of...
I couldn't be more pleased with the care that my Mum has received, since becoming a resident of Hinckley House care home five months ago. Mum had previously enjoyed a number of respite stays there and I'd been happy with the quality of care on all of those occasions. The staff are extremely caring and nothing is too much trouble. The carers are very observant and I've been impressed with the way they have picked up on a few possible medical issues already. I visit my Mum almost daily, where she's often in the lounge with other dementia residents and I've noticed how all the residents are treated with the utmost respect and dignity. The activities are excellent, the care home is spotless and it is a huge relief to me and my family that my Mum is happy living there and in such good hands.
Thank you for the lovely review, this feedback will be shared with the whole team at Hinckley House
Comfortable and satisfied throughout.

We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed your recent stay with us.
My wife is very happy there it was making me bad looking after haz 24-7 my sons told me to try a rest home l look at one or two three Hinckley house was the best I go to see her 5-6 times a week the staff are very good with her and me so I will give 91/2 out of 10 thank you
Many thanks for the lovely review, it is our pleasure.
I would not have wanted her to be cared for elsewhere because I know she will get exactly everything she needs until her last days. Working there was incredible and seeing how they care for my nan over the past 18 months has been even better.
Many thanks for you lovely review, so nice to hear you nan is happy here
Excellent care, friendly staff, very welcoming. Plenty of activities for the residents to participate in, including trips out. Good food and plenty of it. Pleasant, well kept garden area. Highly recommended.
Thank you for you comments i know that this will mean a great deal to the staff that support the residentys in ensuring excellent care delivery
Hinckley House benefits from an excellent experienced and stable staff team who do as much as possible for the residents. There is a culture of kindness and a ' can do' attitude, so that people find a way of making things happen to support people in appropriate and generous ways.
Thank you for your kind words regarding the service we provided. This is much appreciated .
Staff are genuinely caring. And try really hard to navigate difficult situations.
Love all of the activities that are on offer. Food seems a little boring for vegetarians. WiFi could be better.
Only niggle is that some carers seem to infantilise conversations which results the care user feeling patronised.
Many thanks for your valued feedback, I will speak to chef about different vegetarian options however there are already lots of choices available, in regards to the WIFI this has recently been checked and is up to the maximum it can reach, I will be bringing up your comment about the carers and the way they come across in a staff meeting. Regards
Friendly, clean, homely, communal. Visited my grandma today and helped them with dinner. Food was nice too. The staff couldn't help more, they even have little jokes with the residents. Entertainment is good too, lots of variety.
We are so happy you enjoyed your visit to see your Grandma, you feedback is very much appreciated. Regards
Lots of long term staff and beautiful surroundings overlooking the park and school with plenty of activities to observe on a daily basis.
A wonderful place.
Many thanks for a lovely review, it was an honour to have cared for your lovely husband and we all miss him dearly. Regards
We have found the staff very good at caring for our mother and the home is always clean and tidy. Although we think that this home is good we think that it is on the expensive. There should be more medically qualified people on site and information when requested be more forthcoming.
Thank you for your review, I am glad you feel your mum is well cared for and our home is kept clean and tidy. Being a residential home we do not have medically trained staff onsite, however all staff receive basic life support and first aid training, in addition to this our senior care team...
My Mum has always been very well looked after here, she is very content most of the time, she does have her off days when she can be very nasty to the staff but they are always so very patient with her and reassure her that she is ok. I would recommend this home, it's always very clean, the staff are lovely, and always lots going on to entertain the residents.
What a lovely review, many thanks. We enjoy having mum as one of our residents.
A lovely care home, with lots of activities for mum to enjoy, a lovely en suite room and facilities which are kept immaculate by the housekeepers. Mum is kept safe and is happy living there.
I am so happy to read this review and I am very pleased you are happy with mum's care.
My nan has been at Hinckley House Care Home since 2017. We are always happy with her care. Staff are always friendly and helpful and we know my nan's happy, safe and cared for 24 hours a day.
Thank you for your review, we are so happy to hear your nan is settled and happy.
My friend has been a resident here for 2 years and has multiple needs. I visit every day and apart from short breaks and have nothing but praise for all the staff for the efficiency, friendliness and suing and always as speak. So happy om their work despite often challenging situations.
Thank you for a nice review, we are so happy you are pleased with the home and all it offers.
Excellent care in all areas. No concerns.
Many thanks for your lovely review of Hinckley House
Very happy with the care and support my husband receives, staff are caring and supportive, always friendly.
