Since she moved to the home last year, the team have supported us in seeing my mother as much as possible in difficult times. We are extremely grateful. She is well looked after and well-fed and seems very comfortable and content. She also enjoys joining in or simply just watching the activities and of course, singing! Many thanks as always.

My friend came to Lancaster Grange for respite following a period of time in hospital due to serious falls. She had fabulous support and care whilst recuperating and got her back on her feet. She loved the staff who were very respectful and treated her with dignity. The food was plentiful, generous sized room and plenty of activities. As a main visitor I was made very welcome even through this covid time. Will definitely return for further respite.

Recently, when having video calls with Mum, the experience is greatly helped by the interaction of the care staff.
The home has always appeared super clean and well maintained.
I would definitely recommend.

Value for money is low.
Expensive meat is not cooked so as to tender for old people, often warm. The room needs to have better insulation/draft around the door and window.
I am extremely pleased with all the care staff at the home. This group includes not only the direct care staff but all staff including reception, meet and greet and in particular the staff that organise activities and functions. Throughout this difficult period, they have succeeded in managing to keep the residents occupied and entertained, no mean feat. All the staff have my grateful thanks for their help and pleasant demeanour.

I have been hugely grateful for the care and compassion shown to my father and his three daughters by all the staff at Lancaster Grange during the weeks he has been a resident there. They have been very proactive and reactive in identifying and providing the support my father has needed. Each and every staff member has been an example for your company.

My overall experience of Lancaster Grange is excellent. I worked in a care home for 15 years, so know what is expected from the care given to residents and the home itself. Lancaster Grange exceeds in every way. The staff are excellent not only to the residents but also to the families, nothing is too much trouble. They all seem to go over and above. The home is kept beautiful.

Living in faw away, I don't get to visit grandma as much as I would like too but the care homes facebook page provides me with a valuable connection. It enables myself and my children to see what grandma is doing and how happy and well she looks. Thank you.

This is a lovely home, nicely furnished and very caring staff. The food is excellent. They look after my dad very well. It's more like a 5-star hotel than a care home.
Thank you for taking the time to review Lancaster Grange. We feel very happy to read your review and we will feedback to all of the staff here.
We were initially reluctant as a family to move my grandma from the house she has lived in for all her adult life, but we are now so pleased we chose to make the move to Barchester Lancaster Grange Care Home. It is so reassuring to know that she is safe, cared for and understood - the staff have been absolutely fantastic since she moved in. It is so lovely seeing Grandma join in with the activities on the Facebook feed and has given us a feel of her day to day life there despite lockdown restrictions. Shortly after moving in, it was her 90th birthday and the staff made such an effort to make the most of her day, including hiring a singer in the garden and hosting a party as well as ensuring as many of her family could visit her as possible, all whilst abiding by the covid restrictions to ensure her safety. I cannot praise the staff enough for their caring actions - it is an incredible relief for my parents and the rest of the family to know that she is being so well cared for and is happy and safe.
Thank you so much for taking the time to review our home. We are so very pleased your Grandma has settled in and enjoying life at Lancaster Grange. I will happily feed this back to all of our staff here and share your review.
Lancaster Grange is an exceptional care home where I took a week's respite care - it is an absolutely friendly atmosphere. Staff are extremely friendly.
