I am extremely pleased with all the care staff at the home. This group includes not only the direct care staff but all staff including reception, meet and greet and in particular the staff that organise activities and functions. Throughout this difficult period, they have succeeded in managing to
keep the residents occupied and entertained, no mean feat. All the staff have my grateful thanks for their help and pleasant demeanour.

We are so happy that mum is a resident in Lancaster Grange. The standards of care and respect are excellent. Mum feels safe and well cared for. We are impressed with the attention to detail and the attention to mum's interests and preferences. All the staff are professional and welcoming. Mum especially

My overall experience of Lancaster Grange is excellent. I worked in a care home for 15 years, so know what is expected from the care given to residents and the home itself. Lancaster Grange exceeds in every way. The staff are excellent not only to the residents but also to the families, nothing is too
much trouble. They all seem to go over and above. The home is kept beautiful.

Living in faw away, I don't get to visit grandma as much as I would like too but the care homes facebook page provides me with a valuable connection. It enables myself and my children to see what grandma is doing and how happy and well she looks. Thank you.

This is a lovely home, nicely furnished and very caring staff. The food is excellent. They look after my dad very well. It's more like a 5-star hotel than a care home.

We were initially reluctant as a family to move my grandma from the house she has lived in for all her adult life, but we are now so pleased we chose to make the move to Barchester Lancaster Grange Care Home. It is so reassuring to know that she is safe, cared for and understood - the staff have been
absolutely fantastic since she moved in. It is so lovely seeing Grandma join in with the activities on the Facebook feed and has given us a feel of her day to day life there despite lockdown restrictions. Shortly after moving in, it was her 90th birthday and the staff made such an effort to make the most of her day, including hiring a singer in the garden and hosting a party as well as ensuring as many of her family could visit her as possible, all whilst abiding by the covid restrictions to ensure her safety. I cannot praise the staff enough for their caring actions - it is an incredible relief for my parents and the rest of the family to know that she is being so well cared for and is happy and safe.

Hi, my name is Charles, and I am the General Manager here.


I have worked for Barchester since 2018. I have recently relocated from Wokingham with my wife and 3 children. Family and people are important to me and I have worked in healthcare since 1998, initially with the NHS, before moving to roles on a regional level with various learning disability charities, and more recently, other elderly care providers.


I think very highly of Barchester, and I have always admired our robust, organised and well-managed company, and have added Lancaster Grange's and my family feel to make our wonderful home a well-rounded environment.


You will struggle to find a more open and inclusive place for the most important people in all our lives to receive the care they deserve.
