Belvedere Manor

The standards of care at Belvedere Manor are outstanding. Having spent the last two years visiting my late uncle, the care was exceptional! The staff are friendly and make you feel welcome and nothing is too much trouble. Our uncle spent the last weeks of his life here, the staff are extraordinary. They took a holistic approach in order to meet all of his care needs (they thought of everything). They acted with integrity and professionalism with the aim to keep him comfortable in his last days. Not only did they look after our uncle but looked after us, as a family, at this most difficult time. I can not thank the staff enough, the manager and deputy manager were angels! All the staff are a credit to you and we are truly grateful for your compassion shown to our uncle in the last weeks of his life.

My husband of fifty-three years moved into the care home, with Alzheimer's, in April 2023. Our experience has been amazing, with excellent care provided to both my husband and myself. The staff, from the manager to the finance manager, to the seniors and the carers, to all the domestic and kitchen staff, have been incredible. They all know my husband and treat him with respect and care, to the extent that I no longer worry about him, knowing that he is well looked after all the time.

I volunteer and feel this is a lovely home. The Home Manager and all her team are hardworking and dedicated to the residents in their care. The atmosphere is lovely and staff appear to go above and beyond for the residents in their care. Would recommend.

Excellent staff at all levels. Management excellent, courteous, informed. Clean, safe, friendly environment. My husband is happy here. Activities coordinator is fantastic. Coffee hour staff fantastic. Love being here.

I haven't got enough words in my vocabulary to explain how wonderful, professional and thoughtful the staff are at Belvedere Manor Care Home. The care and attention given to my relative was second to none, from the bottom, up to the top. Belvedere Manor provided a safe and secure home for my mother-in-law, treating her with dignity, acknowledging her own personality and bringing out characteristics in her that we had been unable to find. Please don't change. Continue to do the wonderful job you do. I wish you all every success.

Excellent atmosphere with staff, always willing to help when asked. Very welcoming. Well aired with windows open. The staff know the residents well and their needs and have time for them and their visitors. Also an excellent range of activities to suit all and very dedicated activity leaders. A very enthusiastic team in all areas.

Once again my mother has enjoyed her two-week stay at Belvedere Manor. We feel that they are now part of our extended family and can't thank them enough for all that they do. They make such an effort to know and welcome my mum every time and nothing is too much trouble.

My mum loves the home. The rooms are outstanding and so clean. All staff are very helpful and the care they give is outstanding. Mum has been there for six months and she loves it. The activities are plentiful and enjoyable and we can join in too. So a big thank you.

Belvedere is a very welcoming home, and we are always happy to visit. We are always made most welcome.

There were also regular activities to look forward to.

She has been very happy since she arrived in November 2016. She often says what a good choice we made, there is never a dull moment "living here". She has no criticisms. The last manager was brilliant and did such a lot for Belvedere. On my behalf, I am extremely happy that she is so happy.

The staff went out of their way to make a recent visit to see my mum - excellent. What a fantastic bunch of people working at Belvedere Manor - everyone was happy and helpful. It gives me great comfort to know that my mum is being well looked after here.

My mother has been a resident of Belvedere Manor for the last 3 years and has remained very happy there, with the staff being very attentive and caring. She has been very happy but unfortunately, these last 18 months have been a very testing time for us all and she came through it extremely well. Even after a reduced number of visits, during this time she has remained upbeat and safe.

I cannot praise the manager and his team enough. This home is beautiful and spotless like a 5 star hotel. The first time I stepped into the home I felt totally uplifted. The welcome my mum received on arrival was second to none - professional with lots of happy faces. I could not be happier with the home. I get regular updates between visits on how mum has been and already feel like it's an extended family. The management and staff could not be any more helpful and reassuring. Due to the care and kindness of the staff, my mother settled very quickly into Belvedere Manor. She is enjoying the activities and I have been impressed with the way that the staff have quickly and sympathetically dealt with any problems, real or imaginary, that my mother has brought to them. The staff go out of their way to ensure that she is as happy and worry-free as possible, which enables my family and myself to feel confident that she is getting the best care possible and will continue to do so as her Alzheimer's progresses. I would also like to praise the manager and the office team who are readily available to chat about any concerns. I would readily recommend Belvedere Manor to anyone looking for an excellent care home.
