My mother has been in Camberley Heights Care Home now for 2 and a half years. She didn't want to go into a home but when I showed her around she fell in love, as its more like a hotel than a care home. She was moved to the Lodge in January 2024 as her Alzheimer's is progressing, it was a hard transition
but she is very settled now. She always has a smile on her face and never complains about anything. She enjoys the food and has made some friends. The entertainment staff are an absolute delight and get mum involved in all the activities, the hardest thing for her when she moved in was finding things to do (she was not one to sit around watching TV) so I am eternally grateful to them getting her involved in activities. All the staff are very friendly and always keep me updated with her care needs.

I was very impressed with the level of care, accommodation, and catering over the course of the eight days I spent visiting my Godmother.
As I live abroad it was a relief to know she is being well looked after.

Very accommodating and friendly staff.
Resident cats are a lovely addition and they are very welcoming.
The home is set out with plush seating areas and large well-lit walkways.

My Mum moved into Camberley Heights in 2022 into The Lodge and she was made very welcome from her first day. Mum is enjoying her life and everything that this wonderful care home has to offer. The staff are very caring and treat Mum with respect and dignity. Family members are made to feel very welcome
when they visit by the friendly staff. The care home always looks clean, tidy, and well-maintained. Mum often tells me that she is very happy there, the food is wonderful, and that I could not have chosen a better place for her to live in.

Why provision an 'every day' - 'all-comers' coffee machine from a company in northern England? It took some 3 weeks for an 'engineer' to arrive to repair it. The same basic situation at the end of last year!
The food provision for diabetics; desserts are sugar-free ice cream and yoghurt but then -
there are no British staff in the "cooking department!" I have asked the catering manager himself - but nothing!
The 1st floor breakfast area, a problem identified weeks ago. Waitresses have to journey to the ground floor kitchen to order 'cooked breakfast' a simple intercom would suffice - but wherefore management? - again, after weeks and weeks with no change and no progress.

Camberley Heights is a beautiful home, very clean, the meals are very variable and my husband enjoys every meal. All the staff are so helpful and extremely attentive to my husband and his needs. Currently unable to join in with activities, unfortunately.

When I moved here, I wasn't sure but they made me feel so welcome. Now I know that I am in the right place. Everything is fabulous.
I cannot see any person who is not friendly. We have a cat that is so friendly and it gives me pleasure. My friends when they visit are always praising Camberley Heights

Camberley Heights should be a template for all care homes.
After the death of my mother-in-law we looked for the 'perfect' care home for her husband. After visiting a few other homes it became obvious that Pembroke House, as it was then called, would be difficult to beat. When my father-in-law moved
in, we half expected some disappointments, as 'things' rarely are as good as they seem - well this place is the exception!
Many amenities and 2 restaurants, he had 1 bedroom apartment (bedroom/Lounge/kitchenette and ensuite spacious bathroom) which was bright, clean and comfortable.
It was great right from the top management down to every single member of staff, especially the nurses and carers. He was respected and so well cared for. We never had to worry or question anything and trusted every single member of staff to always do their absolute best by him.
I do wholeheartedly recommend Camberley Heights to anyone looking for a five-star care home in this area - it will be hard to find a better place.

My mother lived in the home for 6 years and despite her reluctance to move there, she had a busy life with the activities available to her. The team always encouraged her to join in with everything on offer. Sadly she declined in the last few months and passed away at the end of November 2023. The team
of carers who looked after her were outstanding. They treated her with respect and care, and kept her clean, keeping her hair brushed, bed clean and changed her clothes several times a day. She became very weak and they were very gentle and respectful of her needs. Carers are the unsung heroes who are tireless in their kindness and respect for other human beings. I would like to thank all of them for making my mother's last days as peaceful as possible.

My mum moved into Pembroke House Care Home after going downhill very rapidly over Christmas.
She is in a beautiful suite with bedroom, lounge with kitchen area and large wet room and toilet. This means she can have visitors who can sit in her room with her and watch tv, chat or alternatively they can
use the onsite coffee room or one of the many nooks and lounges to sit and chat in comfort.
The staff are very kind and attentive and mum is absolutely thriving. She had said she wouldn't do any of the activities but the coordinators come and pick her up and she goes along to everything and thoroughly enjoys it. She even joined in dancing which I never thought would happen!
The food is very good and is served either restaurant style with waiters and three courses or in the Bistro which is more informal.
The whole process hasn't been without a few bumpy moments, but overall we are very happy and so is Mum.

The staff are kind and attentive, always willing to help and reassure. The standard of cleanliness is high, as is personal care. I have eaten the food, and it is tasty and varied. My dad was off his food, and the chef visited personally to find out if there was more they could do. If you are nervous
about residential care, I would recommend a visit to Pembroke House and have a look around.

My Mum sadly died recently, having lived at Pembroke House for over 5 years. She arrived as a resident and then needed nursing for her final 6 months. My Mum was very well looked after by all the staff at Pembroke House. They knew her well and did their utmost to keep her happy. Mum was interested in
birds, so they put a little bird feeder in a tree outside her window. One of the carers gave her a book on birds, which she treasured. Another time, some sweets appeared, when Mum mentioned some that she liked. Her favourite foods were always on offer to try to get her to eat when her health was failing. The maintenance team moved my Mum to 3 different rooms during her time there, when she wanted a change of scene. I witnessed countless small acts of kindness over the years. The carers and nursing staff and the ladies on reception are professional and friendly and give Pembroke House a welcoming and friendly feel. I highly recommend it.

Generally, the spaces are clean, staff attentive, willing to speak at the drop of a hat plus able to smile after the worst that covid could throw at them! The nurses are on it and fill mums life with thoughts and care.

Following my wife's confinement in hospital in January 2022 we arranged to book into Signature Pembroke House, Camberley for a four-week respite/recovery stay. This proved to be an excellent decision which benefited both of us and considerably enhanced my wife's progress.
The home is extremely well
appointed with comfortable and attractive rooms as well as excellent communal areas and leisure facilities. These include a cinema and an activities room and an impressive dining room. We found the food to be of a very high standard with many options and the staff made every effort to cater for any special meals that were requested.
The nursing and care staff were always prompt in attending to our needs in a most pleasant and efficient manner both day and night.
Altogether the home is a credit to the management and staff and we were very happy to extend our visit by a further three weeks than originally intended.

I can’t thank Pembroke House care home enough, my auntie came into Pembroke about a month ago, she was near to death. She had given up on life, but the Client Liaison Manager and his wonderful team brought her back to life. She is happy, she is now eating, enjoying the facilities on hand. Cannot thank
the nursing team enough.
I would recommend this care home to anybody, they certainly look after the well-being
of their residents. Well done to all concerned.

My husband and I spent two weeks in Pembroke House after my operation and found without exception all staff friendly and helpful. Food varied and enjoyable, served by friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely recommend this home to others.
