Before moving to Crispin Court earlier in the year, my father had been living by himself for the last five years, so moving anywhere new is stressful; the staff have made him very welcome and from my perspective, that is nice to see.

At the assessment, I pointed out a few necessary requirements that needed to be addressed if my mother was to go into their care, which they happily agreed to. My mother-in-law moved into Crispin Court on a crisp winter's morning for a period of respite over the Christmas period. The warm welcome from everyone she met from the first step into the reception made her feel at home - the care team, the housekeeping team, the pink ladies, the reception team, home management and all the back office have made her so welcome. It's as though she's been there forever. Her health and well-being has improved immensely including her social interaction, activities and trips out, that has given her confidence to interact further with others. It is clearly evident that her weight has increased in just such a short period, and she is eating/enjoying not only the meal times but the company of others. Our heartfelt thanks to all at Crispin Court for their high-quality care and love shared with her plus us as her family and she looks forward to returning very soon for a longer stay.

All staff were very welcoming and helpful. They were very conscientious about medication. I was very grateful that a member of staff arranged a hospital appointment for me and another member of staff accompanied me to the appointment. The activities that did take place were excellent.
