My sister and I have almost finished settling Mum's affairs and have been reflecting on her life at Crispin Court She soon settled in and thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of life in her new home. Sadly Mum died at the end of last year. We cannot fault the end of life care given to Mum. The support and advice given to us by the whole team at Crispin Court was excellent. The guidance given by the deputy manager (now the manager) was most thoughtful and comforting. We have much to be thankful for.

Moving mum into care was a huge decision for us to make as a family. But Crispin Court made this process so much easier for us. Top-notch communication from our initial enquiry down to regular manager updates that we now receive. We had our first interactive ‘visit’ - amazing to see mum looking so well and happy. She even cut short our call so she could go and join her ‘friends’ for the activity that was planned. Yes, it’s not the cheapest care home, but to see mum so settled makes every penny worth it. Her mobility and weight have improved so much, I put this down to excellent care, stimulation and encouragement. Now winter is nearing, I have no worries about her safety and well-being, especially given the current restrictions in place. Thank you Crispin Court.

My mother has been a resident at Crispin Court Care Home for nearly a year. During this time mum has received a fantastic level of care. The staff are very motivated, conscientious and caring. The food is excellent. The building and accommodation are 5 star. The restrictions of covid 19 have understandably affected visits to see mum. During this time Crispin Court has invested in measures to facilitate distanced visits and digital communication. Within these difficult times, the staff and management have strived successfully to support all concerned. Mother is very happy at Crispin Court. I am very happy with the care mum receives at Crispin Court Care Home.

During this period of Covid, I have seen this home go above and beyond in every way possible. I may not be able to see my Nan in person, as those visits are really important for my mum to see her mum, but I can completely follow everything that happens on Social Media, by Skype and my Nan has even mastered FaceTiming us. The staff are like family, the building was always immaculate and I love seeing how happy my Nan is, despite the level of restrictions in place. This care home clearly demonstrates how it can be done, and we are kept informed every step of the way by the management team. I don’t envy the job these people have looking after our loved ones, but they do it with passion, love and dedication. I look forward to the day I can hug Nan again.

Tracey's background started within the care sector for Stoke on Trent Council before moving into the private care sector. She has a wealth of experience working with the elderly, dementia care & mental health spanning over 36 years within the care industry.
