Newly built Elsyng House Care Home is a purpose-built care home in Enfield, London that offers 75 individual, private en-suite rooms and provides the highest quality residential, nursing, dementia and respite care in a five-star setting.

Nestled in amongst the trees in the residential conservation area of Forty Hill, Elsyng House is easily accessible from London and surrounding areas, and located in close proximity to the Enfield’s ‘Jewel in the Crown’, the historic Forty Hall Manor and Country Park.

The brand-new Enfield nursing home provides state-of-the-art facilities including a café bistro, cinema room, hair and beauty salon, barbers, multiple air-conditioned lounges, as well as a family room and quiet lounge and garden areas for residents and families to enjoy.

I would like to thank the staff at Elsyng House in Enfield, who looked after my Mum until her death in January 2022. They all did their very best for her and looked after Mum very well. The accommodation is second to none and they have many facilities available including a hairdresser that made Mum
feel great. I'll never forget the Christmas dinner in the home that I was allowed to attend, Mums' last. The staff were very friendly and had no problem talking to you or listening! Thank you to the whole team there.

My Mum came to Elsyng House for respite care in December 2021 following a period of poor health, a traumatic stay in hospital, and then finding herself unable to cope, with support, back at home. From the very first contact with the Client Relations Manager to Mum's ongoing everyday care, I can say,
without any exception, has been warm, friendly, professional with a real emphasis on putting the individual resident and their family at the centre of everything they do. Mum has made superb progress at Elsyng, improving mobility and engagement with life, she looks healthy and well cared for. Family and friends are always warmly greeted and communication with the home is outstanding, any issue or request from the family has been actioned immediately and feedback given. Mum is enjoying the everyday life of the home with regular visits to the bistro coffee shop, a wide range of activities for residents to engage in. I recommend Elsyng, without hesitation, for the care of a loved one.

An elderly friend who I have known for over 50 years recently moved into Elsyng House at short notice for respite care. All the staff that I have met, without exception, have been professional, friendly, caring, and helpful. It is a big life change to move, but they have gone out of their way to help
her settle and to feel safe and comfortable there. They have been attentive and very gracious despite her erratic behaviour in the beginning and have treated her so well even offering bespoke meals to encourage her to eat. The home and facilities they offer are first class - I cannot think of any improvements they could make. I would not hesitate to recommend Elsyng House to anyone looking for a loved one's care.

My husband stayed at Elsyng House in August for 2-week Respite Care. He stayed in a lovely room on the ground floor with its own En-Suite and immediate access to the gardens. He was welcomed by literally all of the staff and was very happy throughout his stay. In fact, he thoroughly enjoyed the stay,
the care, the food, and the new company that he sat within the Dining Room. There was entertainment laid on by way of music, quizzes, etc., which not only broke up the day, added to the enjoyment, but added mental stimulation. Everything at Elsyng House is very fresh, clean, and new, whilst the communal areas are very spacious. I felt that the hygiene levels were very high, as well as the Coronavirus checks. I also felt that the Client Relations Manager was extremely efficient and caring to maintain the highest of standards. I would highly recommend Elsyng House to anyone, and that will certainly be the first choice again when I need a bit more free time. You will not be disappointed.

My dad became extremely poorly, where myself, my brother and my sister were called to his bedside.
Over the past few weeks, the staff have worked tirelessly to bring dad back to nearly full health. They cared for Dad like he was a member of their own family.

My mum has dementia and has been staying at Elsyng House for a short period of time. The care and support she receives are superb. The staff are so friendly and helpful, both to residents and visitors alike. The bedrooms are very clean, and the facilities throughout are great.
Mum is so happy, safe

We have experienced the highest standard of care from our mum's carers. They have been kind, attentive, positive and have constantly provided a high quality of care to her. From the first visit with the client relations manager at the care home - we have never looked back. I couldn’t wish for a better care home for my lovely dad, who suffers from Vascular Dementia. The staff are so lovely and really care about not only my dad but us too. Dad took a little time to adjust
as would any new member, and now I can tell when we visit that he now classes Elsyng as his home, which is all one would ever wish for. The activities coordinator is exceptional at organising daily activities from virtual Paris trips to tea parties. Thank you, Elsyng House for taking such good care of my dad.

My mother was first in, in this new purpose-built home. She has a lovely ensuite room. She settled in very quickly and went from sitting at home with very little stimulation to having a new lease of life. There is a lovely garden, a cinema room, with a large screen, and louder volume, which she loves.
She is also eating much better and enjoys the food very much.
We recently celebrated our mothers 100th birthday and had a gorgeous tea in a Covid safe environment. The home is always immaculately clean, and the staff are friendly and kind. If my mother wants to go to bed, then they put her to bed, so she can do whatever she pleases, although they encourage her to be up and dressed every day. Our mother is a new person and is now enjoying life, where previously, she had almost given up.

I am absolutely delighted that my mother’s new home is at Elsyng House: it is an outstanding care home. I have been so impressed at the care, kindness, compassion and professionalism shown by all the staff that I’ve had contact with, coupled with the superb surroundings, facilities and activities. All
the staff seems to be aware of my mother’s fears/dislikes/likes which are so important for her well-being. The staff have gone to so much trouble to help my mother settle in: their care for her is superb. The welcome given to my mother was personalised and pitched just perfectly for her. It enabled my mother to enter Elsyng without anxiety, despite her reservations. Every aspect of Elsyng has made me feel so grateful that my mother is at such a wonderful care home.

My friend entered Elsyng House for a three-week trial stay as a resident who needed some help with daily tasks - but who is not requiring memory or nursing support. As a newly opened care home, Elsyng House has few residents at present and thus there was very little stimulus to engage the mind during
the daytime - except for TV and occasional conversations with staff and visitors. However, the food is very good. Staff very friendly and helpful. As yet, friend is not able to be placed in her chosen room.

My dad came to Elsyng House after being in hospital for a few weeks. The care and support he has received has been fantastic. He has made amazing progress, when he first arrived he didn’t feel well enough to eat or get out of bed and now in just a few weeks he has put on weight and able to move around
using his Zimmer frame. He would never had contemplated residential care a few months ago due to his fear of losing his independence and the negative image he had of care homes. He now says it is the best decision he has made and should have done it earlier. He still has his independence and can pick and choose which activities he wishes to be involved in and if he wants to sit in his room he is more than welcome to do so. We are all delighted with the care he is receiving, nothing seems to be too much trouble for any of the staff. It is very reassuring for us as a family to know that he is being so well looked after.

Our Mum (and Nan) has dementia and came to a time when she required increased care that we couldn't effectively give her at home. It was with heavy hearts and nervousness that we looked at local residential care homes. We chose Elsyng House (Enfield) and are so pleased we did – from initial contact
through to her placement/moving in, the sympathetic and compassionate service we received has been brilliant. Mum/Nan settled immediately and showed no signs of agitation that we feared she would - she looks forward to her regular visit to the onsite hairdresser. We can visit and phone her easily and cannot praise all the staff high enough that we have come into contact with. A big thank you to Elsyng House.

My mother has just moved into Elysing House Care Home and the whole process has been very personal, professional and sensitive. The procedures for admission were very person-centered and all the staff have a lovely manner with both my mother and family members making us feel reassured that we have made
the best decision. Her room is lovely and we have been able to provide familiar pictures and personal effects that are important to her. In her first few days, she has eaten more than she has done for quite some time, enjoying the beautifully presented meals that feature foods that she loves. This is because the chef has taken the time to find out what she likes. The procedures to ensure that the residents are kept safe during the COVID pandemic are extremely robust and very reassuring. As a nominated visitor, I am now able to book a time to visit mum in her room once I have had two clear lateral flow tests. PPE is provided by the home. This has been lovely.
