My friend moved here at the end of October, already we can see an improvement in her. She's eating better and seems so much happier. Beautiful room, modern and comfortable. The staff are so friendly and helpful. They treat her so well and interact and involve her. Sad that my friend needs to use a care home but at least I know that here she is safe and cared for.

Our family have been so happy with the care and attention they provide for my grandma. I love the regular entertainment, hospitality and friendliness of the staff. My mother moved into Glenvale Park on the 15th of January 2024. The moving from hospital to Glenvale was handled brilliantly by Glenvale staff who have made my mum very happy and settled. Whenever I have visited Mum, the staff have been very welcoming. The premises are kept beautifully and the residents all appear happy and settled. My mum, although very old, has settled in and made new friends very quickly. Thank you all for all of your hard work and support.
Thank you so much for this lovely review. It is nice to know that you are so happy with our service.
I have been visiting my friend since you opened almost two years ago. The standard of care is excellent, and the home is so welcoming to everyone. The staff are lovely and feel like family.

My father has been a resident at Glenvale Park for almost 18 months now. During that time he has been cared for very well. The staff and management have always been kind, polite and most willing to meet my father's needs. Being a newly built home, the rooms are well fitted out and to a good standard. The bathroom is spacious which is ideal for my father who is a wheelchair user. Overall, food and drink is good quality.

The care home has been excellent. Since discharge from hospital, the carers helped get my cousin back on his feet. The carers are patient and willing to spend time with him.

From the first initial tour, to my nan's moving-in day for her respite visit, everything has been perfect. Nothing is too much trouble for all the staff. My nan's respite stay was so successful we have now chosen for her to be a permanent resident. First-class service from all involved in running the home.
Thank you for your wonderful feedback, we are delighted that Nan will be staying permanently, we love having here around. Thank you for choosing us and for taking the time to share your views with us.

I am always greeted with a smile from the staff and before I see my mother one of the staff will always give me an update on my mother's condition. Nothing is too much trouble when I visit and ask for anything. I always find all of the staff to be friendly and I find myself on first-name terms with them all. They are a huge credit to the home!
Thank you so much for your lovely feedback. I am extremely proud of my team and it is wonderful for them to get the recognition that they deserve.
Every visit is welcomed by staff. They are always friendly and helpful. We get good feedback as to the health and wellbeing of my mother-in-law. She seems very happy on each visit and has high praise for her care. Her room is clean and well kept and she enjoys the mementos she has in there. We are able to take her out for meals on occasion.

Meet the Team (2)

I have been working within the care industry for around 16 years and it feels like my passion for health and social care has been with me from a very young age.
Over the years I have taken on a variety of roles, eventually working my way up to home manager, a role that I have been in for the past 4 years here at Anchor.I am extremely excited to be starting my journey at Glenvale Park, it is a home with a great reputation for outstanding care and compassion. I’m really looking forward to getting to know all of the wonderful residents and their families and working with this fabulous team.

I began my career as an office junior at the age of 15 and have worked as an administrator for nearly 30 years, have completed an NVQ full apprenticeship in business and administration.
My journey with Anchor began at Timken Grange where I held the position of business support manager, eventually transferring to head office as an accounts payable specialist.
When Glenvale Park opened in April 2022 I was delighted to be offered the position of front-of-house manager, where I have been involved with the commissioning of the new home and have enjoyed welcoming our new residents.
I have 2 children and 1 grandchild, I've been married for almost 27 years. I love eating out and going on holidays, and I love spending time with my 6 cats/kittens (2 adults + 1 mum and her 3 kittens).
