Very impressive. We were very pleased with your provisions for our birthday celebrations for my mother. It was a wonderful occasion for all the family to be with her to celebrate her 90th belatedly and it made it very special for her. All her five children were able to make it (three who live abroad) which was so wonderful for her. We are so thankful to all the staff for all the care they give my mother. She seems settled here now, which is reassuring to her family and knowing she is in such a lovely home and being well cared for here is so wonderful for us all.
Thank you so much for your kind words, we are delighted to hear how happy you are with our service, I shall read this to my team, it will make their day.
Very grateful for the great care Mum is receiving. Appreciate the staff offering to host a belated 90th birthday celebration gathering on the third floor. All of Mum's five children, some spouses, grandchildren and other relatives came and enjoyed seeing the facility.
Thank you for taking the time to review Glenvale Park, we are so happy to read that you are pleased with the service here. It was an honour to host such a special birthday party for such a special lady.
The whole family enjoyed our visit with Mum in the lounge, with food. It was lovely to just focus on the gathering and not fuss with the location/meal. Great setting and caring staff. One member of staff spent time to meet us and take photos (much appreciated!) and the manager also stopped in to chat. It is wonderful peace of mind for us, who live overseas, to know Mum is well cared for at Glenvale Park Care Home. Thank you for all your kindness and care.
Thank you for your review. We are so glad you enjoyed your visit to Glenvale Park! We hope to see you again soon.
There are tastefully appointed communal spaces and a range of daily activities on offer for residents to choose from if they wish.
A choice of nutritious meals are prepared on-site. There is good backup medical care available if necessary as well as a hairdresser, podiatrist and other personal care services. All in all, Glenvale offers a comfortable home-from-home.
Thank you for your review. We really appreciate your kind words, I look forward to telling my team.
My sister has been here for three months now. We are very surprised as to how well she has settled down. The staff are very patient and friendly which makes her feel safe and content. Thank you Glenvale Park Care Home.
Thank you for your review, we are so glad your sister has settled with us so well.
The staff are extremely caring and very attentive to the needs of my great-grandmother, and always asking if she wants anything. There are lots of activities, and she has found a group of friends and a new lease of life. The food is very good, and meals are served in a lovely dining room. The staff are always smiling and very happy in their work. A beautiful environment, warm and caring.
Thank you for your review. I look forward to telling the team about your kind comments. We are so glad your great-grandmother is happy staying with us.
First class staff - couldn't be more happy with my mother's treatment.

Our family has been extremely satisfied with Glenvale Park since my mother became a resident a few months ago. As it is a new home, we could expect a lovely environment but I have been particularly impressed with the care by the staff, the activities provided and the general interest shown by the management. My mother is very happy there with no complaints. All the family feel very reassured.
Thank you for taking the time to write this review. I'm delighted to hear that you and your family are happy with the level of care your mother has received. I will pass on your lovely comments to the team.

When Mum started to need that extra care in her life, we looked around several care homes and found a first-class care home in Glenvale Park. Mum was welcomed by all Glenvale Park staff, they are passionate about their job. Mum's room is beautiful/bright and decorated and designed with a homely feel to it. Mum loves the lifestyle team and the daily activities that take place. I know Mum's new address will be just perfect for her and we as a family know she is being cared for 24/7. Thank you.
Thank you for this review and your kind words about our team. I am delighted to hear that you are so happy with our service.
This place has helped my mum gain a new lease on life! The staff are attentive, caring and responsive to my mum's needs. She has a cosy room, great food and company all the time! The staff notice immediately if she feels unwell and gets the care she needs. She is happy and feels like this place is really home.
Thank you for this review. We are so glad you are happy with the service your mum receives.
My mother went to Glenvale Park at the beginning of January. We had looked at several care homes previously and after seeing the manager we felt reassured that if my mum were to settle in any place, Glenvale would probably be the most likely in making her happy. We had expected an unhappy worryingly few weeks however within four days Mum appeared settled and she was welcomed by everyone and not asking to return home. This has exceeded all our expectations. She is not lonely, not scared and she is safe and dare I say it very content. So thank you Glenvale.
Thank you so much for this review. We are so glad your mum has settled with us and your family are happy and content with the care she is receiving.
Love coming to visit the residents and a very special lady. It's such a lovely home, always greeted with a smile from staff and residents. The rooms are beautiful and feel very homely with beautiful views from every window. Love coming to celebrate special occasions e.g. Chinese new year. Also love seeing all the activities the residents and staff do on social media and hearing about them from the residents. The food looks delicious, always something different.
Thank you so much for this review! I'm delighted to hear that you are satisfied with our staff and the activities we provide. I will pass on your very kind comments to our team.
I am so happy that my mum us at Glenvale Park Care Home, the management and the staff are extremely professional and very caring. Since my mum has been there she has improved a lot in her health and mobility. I would highly recommend Glenvale for anyone who is thinking about their loved ones.
Thank you so much for this lovely review. We really appreciate your kind words and I can't wait to share them with the team.
We hear horror stories about care homes but at Gelenvale Park we are assured of a professional, caring and well-managed organisation which puts our minds at ease that Mum is being well looked after in her dotage. The staff are patient and kind and always polite and helpful with residents. The in-house medical supervisor is first rate and communication with family is good too. Well done so far to Glenvale Park.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write this review. We really value your words and are so pleased your mum is happy with us. Our team work really hard to ensure all of our residents are settled and happy.
Since becoming a resident at Glenvale Park in August 2022 my mother has felt safe and supported here. I always find the staff caring and welcoming when I visit and feel happy my mother is somewhere she is cared for by such wonderful staff. Thank you to everyone.
Thank you so much for this review, we truly appreciate your kind words. We always aim to make our residents comfortable and happy with us.
Since having to make the choice of finding our mum a suitable care home as her health changed and so her personal needs changed. We have been very happy with all the staff at Glenvale Park. The staff are consistently cheerful, caring, highly professional and attentive and caring to a high standard for their clients. I have been able to communicate any issues around my mum settling into a larger community than she was used to and they were dealt with to my satisfaction. All in all, the staff and care for my mum have meant, as a family, I think we know that if our relative has to be in a home - this is one of the best.
Thank you so much for your lovely feedback. We are delighted to hear how happy you are with the service being provided at Glenvale Park. I shall share your kind words with my team.
Mum is here for a few weeks of respite care, from a stay in the hospital. She had been very, very ill and had lost a lot of confidence, especially with mobility. After looking at quite a few homes, Glenvale Park really stood out from the others. Mum was welcomed with proper red carpet treatment and some lovely flowers too. Not only did all the staff say hello and introduce themselves, but the residents did too. Everybody, staff and residents alike, are friendly. Mum hasn't wanted for anything here. She has improved enormously, both in spirit and physical health. She loves the activities and has also now joined the walks in the mornings, which is doing her good. The home is immaculate and nothing is too much trouble. The food is lovely too, with good meals and plenty of drinks and biscuits throughout the day. I cannot speak highly enough of this place. Thank you all.
Thank you for this glowing review, we all really appreciate your kind words and I look forward to sharing them with the team. I am glad your mum has settled in with us.

Meet the Team (2)

I have been working within the care industry for around 16 years and it feels like my passion for health and social care has been with me from a very young age.
Over the years I have taken on a variety of roles, eventually working my way up to home manager, a role that I have been in for the past 4 years here at Anchor.I am extremely excited to be starting my journey at Glenvale Park, it is a home with a great reputation for outstanding care and compassion. I’m really looking forward to getting to know all of the wonderful residents and their families and working with this fabulous team.

I began my career as an office junior at the age of 15 and have worked as an administrator for nearly 30 years, have completed an NVQ full apprenticeship in business and administration.
My journey with Anchor began at Timken Grange where I held the position of business support manager, eventually transferring to head office as an accounts payable specialist.
When Glenvale Park opened in April 2022 I was delighted to be offered the position of front-of-house manager, where I have been involved with the commissioning of the new home and have enjoyed welcoming our new residents.
I have 2 children and 1 grandchild, I've been married for almost 27 years. I love eating out and going on holidays, and I love spending time with my 6 cats/kittens (2 adults + 1 mum and her 3 kittens).
