Lovely. friendly and helpful staff. Settled my mother in quickly. Colourful, comfortable bedroom. Spacious bathroom. Plenty of social areas. Lots of activity/entertainment. Fabulous place. Very happy that my mother is there.
We do love to be referred to as fabulous, thank you. I am delighted that you are happy with the service provided by our home. I shall pass your kind words on to the team.
Mum has been at Glenvale Park for two weeks now, she has improved immensely she is happier, calm not anxious and takes part in activities as staff go the extra mile to make sure they all take part. Plenty of dancing, singing, games, gardening and walks outside. The food is exceptional. Glenvale Park home is bright and airy. The manager and his team are very welcoming and caring, show compassion and take their time with the residents. Mum cannot praise the staff enough, likewise. The best decision made as mum needs only the best care and surroundings, which then makes us happy to see her relaxed and happy. Thank you all at Glenvale Park.
Thank you so much for this wonderful review of our service. I am immensely proud of my team and continuously in awe of the passion and drive that they possess. It makes us all very happy to know that you are happy with our service and that Mum is improving in our care. We are delighted that you chose us, it is lovely having Mum around.
My father has been at the home for a two-week respite stay. We have been so impressed with the whole experience. The quality of the building and his room, the facilities and activities have all been outstanding. He has dementia and a number of other conditions. The carers have been fantastic in looking after him. He is content, relaxed and happy. We will definitely be here again when he next needs some respite care. Thank you.
Thank you for choosing Glenvale Park, it was a delight to have your father with us and we are so happy to know that both you and your father were happy with the service provided by me and my wonderful team.
We have had a very positive experience with settling Dad into Glendale Park. From the initial enquiry, the manager listened to Dad's requirements and all the staff have been so friendly and caring. The home is beautiful and clean with so many facilities and outstanding entertainment. It has given Dad a new social life after living independently for the last four years.
Thank you for your kind words, the whole team works exceptionally hard to provide a first-class service and your validation will mean a lot to them. I am delighted to know that you are happy and that Dad is thriving, we love having him here.
From the outset, I have received really good and kind care from everyone at Glenvale Park. The atmosphere is friendly, helpful, cheerful and uplifting. I hope to spend the rest of my life here. I fully recommend this home.
What a lovely review to receive. All feedback is gratefully accepted, but it does feel extra special when one of our residents takes the time to review us. Thank you.
Overall, our experience has exceeded our expectations. The staff are professional and caring and most of all patient with residents. It takes a certain character to work in care homes and I truly believe Glenvale Park has the best of the best when it comes to the staff.
We are very engaging with the senior management and they are very receptive to our opinions and thoughts on aspects of my father's care; from food to medical, and everything in between.
There are always plenty of activities for residents to engage in and build a community within which is very supportive to other residents.
Overall it gives me great comfort to know that my father is being well looked after.
I cannot thank to team enough.

Our team work exceptionally hard caring for our residents and we can't wait to share your feedback with them. We are so pleased we have exceeded your expectations and once again we thank you for this extremely kind review.
When making initial enquiries for respite care for an elderly relative we were impressed with the friendly, responsive and informative details received over the phone from Glenvale Park. A visit was offered and a tour of the facilities followed. Our relative moved in for respite care and then as a permanent resident. The care provided has been exemplary and we are always able to speak to a member of the team if we have any questions/concerns. It is a lovely, friendly atmosphere. The care home is new and the facilities are modern, functional and the staff are well trained and cater for all the needs of the residents. We are delighted that we found such a warm and friendly home for our relative.
Thank you so much for your wonderful review, we work extremely hard to provide a positive experience at every stage of our enquiry process right the way through to admission. We are so pleased that we have been able to provide you with a warm and friendly home for your loved one. We cannot wait to pass this review on to our brilliant team.
The care my parents have experienced here is the best I have seen anywhere. The management and staff are wonderful and take their time to make sure everyone is happy and well cared for. Everything is done with professionalism, genuine concern and a smile. The rooms and facilities are beautiful, like a 5-star hotel. There are always fun and stimulating activities, everyone is encouraged to take part. The health and well-being of my parents are of utmost importance to the staff who go above and beyond what is required. The peace of mind I have knowing my parents are safe and well cared for at Glenvale Park is priceless!
Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback. We are delighted to hear that you and your parents are happy with the care provided to them, we are lucky to have them here, they are a joy to have around. I shall pass your feedback on to the team, this will make them smile.
From the moment I walked into Glenvale Care Home, I knew this was the perfect place for my parents. The staff are all so lovely and caring and go above and beyond. It is very clear to see that they are all passionate about the varied jobs they do. Mum and Dad are very happy there with everything they could possibly need provided. Thank you to all the Glenvale team.
Thank you so much for this glowing review. We are delighted to hear that you are so happy with our service and that your parents are having such a positive experience here with us at Glenvale. It is a pleasure having them around.
In late March, my husband, of 72 years, and I both tested positive for Covid. My husband got worse and had to go into hospital where he sadly died in early April. When I was clean of Covid - the building work at home resumed. I needed to get away from the dust and noise, so I was pleased to get into Glenvale Park on the 19th of April. While at Glenvale, the staff were kind and most attentive, walking me around the care home every day was useful for keeping my legs working and very nice for getting a breath of fresh air. My only thought for improvement relates to the food. Elderly folk will often find vegetables cooked 'Al Dente' a little hard to chew. Perhaps residents should be asked if they have special needs relating to food?
Thank you so much for your valuable feedback, we are delighted that you had a positive stay at Glenvale and enjoyed your time with us. We take all feedback very seriously and we have passed your comments on to both the kitchen and care teams.
Glenvale Park is an excellent care home which I highly recommend. Credit must be given to the manager who is fantastic; he treats everyone with great dignity and respect and really knows how to bring the best out of the residents and staff, all of whom have been very welcoming. It is a bright, modern, friendly home with high standards, and it is lovely to visit. My mum is extremely happy here and has settled in very quickly. The all-inclusive model also gives peace of mind; she can enjoy treats like hairdressing without worrying about end-of-month costs.
Thank you so much for your kind words. I have a passionate, hardworking and devoted team supporting both myself and our residents, I am proud of the level of care that they provide and I will take great pleasure in passing on your wonderful feedback. Thank you.
My father was very anxious about moving into Glenvale Park, but immediately the staff made him feel welcome, and within a few minutes, he was laughing and joking with them. Everyone at the care home has been wonderful, and it's lovely to see my dad looking happy and very well cared for. The staff really couldn't do anything more for him; I can't praise them enough. The facilities are second to none, more like a hotel than a care home, bright and modern. It's beautiful.
Thank you for taking the time to share your wonderful review with us. We are so pleased to hear how settled your loved one is. We can't wait to share your feedback with our team.
Both of my parents are now residents of Glenvale Park. A combination of health issues after a fall and dementia left them unable to look after each other at home, even with support. Mum became a resident whilst dad was in hospital and the staff went out of their way to help her settle. Dad was originally discharged into another home which was awful by comparison and we moved him as soon as we could arrange it. The management at Glenvale Park helped every step of the way with that move, going above and beyond as my dad was so distressed where he was. Now they are both reunited the whole team has been so supportive of them both whilst they adjust to this huge change. They keep all the family informed and mum often says she is living in a lovely hotel. The food and facilities are excellent. The peace of mind that this level of care provides is priceless.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write this wonderful review. We are so pleased we are able to care for both mum and dad together and reunite them in our home. The happiness and health of our residents are tremendously important to all team members. We look forward to sharing this excellent review with them.
Mum has been looked after so well. The staff are so very friendly and attentive. The home is beautiful and well thought out. Rooms are really comfortable with lots of well thought out storage. Mum is enjoying her meals and is having plenty to eat. The activities are good and varied and Mum has enjoyed joining in. I would thoroughly recommend Glenvale Park. A big thank you to all staff.
Thank you for taking the time to write this review. We pride ourselves on the importance of both meal times and our lifestyle activity programme. We are so pleased that both of these are up to the standards you would expect. We hope to continue the positive experience both you and your loved one have had in our care home and look forward to sharing your review with the team.
The staff are just wonderful and caring. The food is first class. Every member of staff are a credit to the home and nothing is too much trouble.
Thank you so much for your wonderful review, our team work incredibly hard to provide a wonderful experience for all residents. We look forward to sharing your review with our team members.

Meet the Team (2)

I have been working within the care industry for around 16 years and it feels like my passion for health and social care has been with me from a very young age.
Over the years I have taken on a variety of roles, eventually working my way up to home manager, a role that I have been in for the past 4 years here at Anchor.I am extremely excited to be starting my journey at Glenvale Park, it is a home with a great reputation for outstanding care and compassion. I’m really looking forward to getting to know all of the wonderful residents and their families and working with this fabulous team.

I began my career as an office junior at the age of 15 and have worked as an administrator for nearly 30 years, have completed an NVQ full apprenticeship in business and administration.
My journey with Anchor began at Timken Grange where I held the position of business support manager, eventually transferring to head office as an accounts payable specialist.
When Glenvale Park opened in April 2022 I was delighted to be offered the position of front-of-house manager, where I have been involved with the commissioning of the new home and have enjoyed welcoming our new residents.
I have 2 children and 1 grandchild, I've been married for almost 27 years. I love eating out and going on holidays, and I love spending time with my 6 cats/kittens (2 adults + 1 mum and her 3 kittens).
