Marham House Care Home

My Mother is extremely happy living at Marham House, where she is treated with kindness, respect & dignity. The staff show genuine care for the residents and are always willing to listen to any concerns or worries that relatives may have. The home itself is welcoming, clean and has a cheerful atmosphere, starts with the warm greeting you receive from the reception staff. It gives me a great peace of mind to know that my Mother is somewhere she feels safe, comfortable and well cared for.

My mother came to Marham House because she needed extra support & could not longer live on her own, From the first day the support she has been given has been aexcellent the staff have been 100% & nothing is to much trouble, the only area she has struggled is the food becouse he is celiac & has suger diabeties the home has found it difficult to give her the right food that sustains her. the theam have been very supportive in trying to get this right & hopefully this is now happening. Over all Marham House has a fantastic group of staff who mother really likes. So we are glad we chose you!)

I have been here before on respite. I think it is not quite as good as when I was last here in August 2025.

My great nan came to the care home from hospital 3 weeks ago and i can notice how happy she is. She always tells me how amazing the staff are, they are so caring and kind and look after all the residents so well. I really have seen an improvement in Nan since coming in because of how nervous she was to go there but now she wouldn't change it for the world now she loves it so much. All of the staff i have spoken to are so lovely and so welcoming.

My mother moved in a week ago the staff have been amazing to my mum and so helpful to me mum was worried about going into a care home but she is so happy everyday telling how lovely the staff are and how helpful they are and that makes me feel so happy that mum is happy the staff I have met are so so nice.

Moving to a care home is a big decision for everyone involved. Marham house recognised this..It is a Beautiful residential home. It is very homely and not clinical at all, which made a big difference with the transition for my Nan. The staff are all so friendly and warming. I would not hesitate to recommend Marham House to anyone else. Thankyou for caring xx

First impressions - How friendly and welcoming the staff were. The home was light and bright and clean. Food was served with care & thought. Residents treated with dignity.

I came in for 6 weeks respite care & could not have been looked after any better. Good food, lots of activities happening to keep residents entertained & stimulated. Staff are wonderful & friendly, this is the best care home I have stayed at.

First impressions show spacious and good equipment throughout. Staff are all caring and get to know their patients. Dementia always takes extra attention and my husband has received that. I thank you for the good care he is getting.

I am so impressed with Marham House, the staff so helpful and friendly, but I've noticed just how many there are on each floor, always available for residents. Everything is spotlessly clean, carpets, armchairs, bed covers all immaculate, even paintwork is fresh. Our friend says meals are amazingly tasty and nutritious; we walked to get a cup of tea and I was impressed at the facilities. Drinks available 24 hours, coffee and tea, milk, cake, biscuits, fruit all available for residents. I would certainly be willing to come to Marham House if I was in need of rest and care. All very impressive, clean, good quality - well done staff - you're amazing.

We visit a resident who has had a hip operation (his second one) and resides at Marham House to recover until able to return home. During both sets of visits we have been very impressed with warmth and friendliness of staff, cleanliness of all areas, size of bedrooms. Our friends speaks highly of the quality of the food. We were invited to an open day and had a delicious meal (not specially prepared to impress us, but usual high standard). Well done, all of you.

It must have taken a huge lot of additional work and time to organize the trip and to support the residents during an outing like that. My brother really enjoyed it and we are very grateful for all that the staff do for him which has improved his quality of life so greatly since he moved in 3 years ago, in particular the way he is respected, cared for and valued as an individual has made a massive beneficial difference to him.

Opened in 2020 Marham House is a modern purpose built care home and feels spacious and well thought through. As with all care home - there is a shortage of carers and all care homes are struggling to cope. That said Marham House copes well and the staff are friendly and helpful. My mother feels cared for and she is happy.

I went to the home three years ago and I liked so much I went back. this time after having a new knee. The staff were so good to me. I had such a lovely stay.

My aunt has been a resident at Marham House for a month now. She has had a marvellous time, nothing is too much trouble and the staff have been kind and attentive at all times. All the staff know her by name, spend time talking with her and look out for her. The food has been amazing, and as visitors we have enjoyed the tea and cake in the afternoon! When visiting we have always been greeted cheerfully, with an update on our aunt's day. The staff have been available at all times to help and care for her. A dream home!

My father-in-law needed respite care after being injured in a traffic accident. The staff at Marham House did a thorough review of his needs prior to his stay. They made him feel welcome and safe and were excellent at answering all of our questions. We can't thank them enough for turning an upsetting incident into such a positive experience for all of us.
