Marham House is located in Bury St Edmunds and provides friendly and comfortable residential and dementia care for up to 66 residents. Each spacious bedroom benefits from an en suite wet room. The home is located in a quiet residential area, whilst being close to transport links and local amenities and attractions.

Marham House is operated by Anchor. Anchor has more than 60 years of experience as a not-for-profit provider of services to older people. Marham House continues to welcome new residents for residential and residential dementia care.

The dedicated care team gets to know each resident, working with them and their loved ones to create detailed care plans so that their needs are always met. The Lifestyle Team are on hand to ensure that each resident enjoys each day as they wish to.

High quality dementia care is provided to residents living with the condition by colleagues who are fully trained to ensure the best approach.

The care team provides individual and compassionate care by getting to know each individual and building strong relationships with them and their loved ones.

Dad's move into the home has gone so well, we are delighted. Whilst dementia is a slow progression, Dad has improved significantly since moving into Marham House Care Home. We can assume this is due to the fantastic facilities but more importantly the care he is receiving from the wonderful people who
work here.
It's a pleasure to visit Dad and see him so happy amongst his new friends.

I cannot recommend Marham House Care Home enough. My mum has been here for 10 months and all the staff and management have treated my mum with respect, care, kindness and love. I cannot thank them all enough for all their hard work (and it was very hard work) and dedication, they are amazing people.
I would recommend Marham House Care Home to anyone that is looking for a care home they can trust.

Mum has lived here for eighteen months. It has been hard for her to settle but with help, attention, support and the kindness of staff, she has found many ways to enjoy life and to feel a sense of belonging. It's a great comfort to myself and my siblings that Mum is safe, stimulated and well looked
after. The open attitude of the house, encouraging visitors at any time is really important to us continuing to be fully involved in her life.
I would appreciate there being a regular "friend and family" forum to meet other families and feed in comments, ideas and questions.

I always find the staff friendly and willing to help day or night - all know Mum and are kind to her. I would like to know what Mum gets up to all day - I never know as she cannot tell me and sometimes I think she misses things. I also expected her to be taken on more outings so I am disappointed she
is never taken out. I would also like her to be taken on walks when I am away - this keeps her fit and is a big benefit to her I feel.

I have settled in Marham House Care Home. The staff are all very kind. The lifestyle ladies do a great job with entertainment. The admin staff are all very kind. Sometimes the food is not as good as it used to be when I first moved in last May. The home is very clean and welcoming. I receive good care.

My aunt has been a resident of Marham House Care Home since March 2021. I have been consistently impressed by the very high quality of care that my aunt has received. The staff are kind, thoughtful and always patient. Visiting Marham House is like going into a luxury hotel, always tidy and spotlessly
clean. The staff are very welcoming and helpful when I visit or telephone. The atmosphere is relaxed. Residents are treated with the utmost dignity.
I would thoroughly recommend Marham House. Families can be sure that their loved one will receive excellent care from dedicated team professionals for whom nothing is too much trouble.

Very warm welcome when I arrived, all the staff are very friendly. My friend's room is very nice. We were offered a drink as soon as we sat down in the lounge. A lovely surprise, we had a young man with his guitar sing some lovely old songs. I believe this happens regularly and I was lucky to visit
on his day here. The care given to my friend is excellent. Thank you to all the staff, the Marham House Care Home is like walking into a luxury hotel.

My mum has been a resident for three months. Plenty of time to really get a feel for the place. She settled in very quickly and is very happy. The accommodation is like a really expensive cruise ship, even down to the daily entertainment sheet. The staff are amazing. Friendly, happy and helpful. I cannot
believe that we found such an amazing care home. It must be the best in the country.
