I always find the staff friendly and willing to help day or night - all know Mum and are kind to her. I would like to know what Mum gets up to all day - I never know as she cannot tell me and sometimes I think she misses things. I also expected her to be taken on more outings so I am disappointed...
I always find the staff friendly and willing to help day or night - all know Mum and are kind to her. I would like to know what Mum gets up to all day - I never know as she cannot tell me and sometimes I think she misses things. I also expected her to be taken on more outings so I am disappointed she is never taken out. I would also like her to be taken on walks when I am away - this keeps her fit and is a big benefit to her I feel.

It is often commented that it has the feel of an upmarket hotel, being a purpose-built home, a lot of care has gone into providing the facilities that we all enjoy. Following the experience of two care homes, Marham Care Home is a refreshing change. All aspects, that is those I encountered, were excellent. I would draw special attention to the manager, her team and the individual rooms. Public rooms were most attractive, including the library, dining room and entrance hall. Residents seemed happy and settled - a real treat compared to very different contexts I have met. The range of facilities is good and the weekly activities list is varied and there is much to choose from. Links with the local hospital are very good.
