Marham House Care Home

We had a very positive experience right from our initial enquiry with the manager. She took the time to discuss and fully understand our mother's potential care needs. Recently our mother transitioned from hospital to Marham House Care Home and this was handled seamlessly. The manager, together with her team of carers and the lifestyle team, were able to understand and adapt very quickly to our mother's needs to ensure she felt welcomed and at ease. In a very short period of time they were patiently, competently and intuitively able to ensure that our mother felt safe, understood, listened to and respected. Our mother has been encouraged and able to engage in some of her former hobbies in very comfortable and appealing surroundings and we have noticed a wonderful upswing in her vitality and positivity. Nothing is ever too much trouble and there are a variety of daily activities on offer including a hairdresser and movie nights which have also enhanced our mother's well being.

I've enjoyed my stay. The people are very friendly and a happy atmosphere.

I spent an enjoyable three hours at The Mad Hatters Tea Party. There was plenty of lovely tea and cakes. The staff had worked so hard. The tables looked authentic and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

A most enjoyable evening (Oscars award night), well planned and all the hard work it required ensured it went well. Enjoyed by all present, all the recipients were worthy winners. I hope the applause also told them how much we, the residents, appreciate all their hard work and dedication. A delightful evening rivalling anything Hollywood can do.

Had an enjoyable afternoon with the others, watch the staff dressed as Abba and watching the Mama Mia film with wine and Greek food.

I went to the party which I enjoyed every minute.

We were made very welcome from the moment we walked through the door. Beautiful cosy home atmosphere. Very friendly staff and more than happy to accommodate our mother's needs. We did not hesitate that this would be a very safe and caring home. After spending a lot of time worrying about finding the right home Marham has exceeded our expectations.

I could see that the home provided a safe and peaceful haven for the mostly elderly residents under its care.

I hope we have another gathering soon.

Fantastic staff and very capable.

Excellent contact before, during, and after a two and a half week respite stay. Carers were very kind and competent. Excellent manager, always available to talk.

Marham House is unlike any normal care home, it is like entering a very smart hotel. The ambience and facilities are amazing. We needed care for my mother who has dementia and the staff were so caring and were very quick to understand her needs and helped her to settle in. They worked with us to make this transition so much easier than we ever imagined. I cannot recommend Marham House, the managers and staff highly enough.

Has been a really pleasant experience after being in the hospital. All of the staff have definitely helped with my recovery, especially two.

My Gran moved into this Care Home last month as she had started to struggle doing general day-to-day activities at home. I'm not local enough to support my Gran; so wanted to find a suitable place for my Gran to live safely. Marham House supported us very quickly. We couldn't visit but were given access to the brochure and a virtual tour which helped see the home and understand what they can offer. They were able to complete an assessment with me over the phone and once everything was in place, Gran was able to move within a couple of days! Since Gran has been there I have had lots of contact. It's lovely to see, and speak with Gran regularly and see how much she's enjoying her time there and ask about her time. I can't wait to visit her and taste some of the great food she tells me about! My review is based on the images, and videos I have seen, and the feedback my Gran tells me.

Outstanding facilities and staff. Staff are knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. The senior carer is extremely good at keeping my family versed in my condition during my stay.
